Can you guys please open up another location closer to my house? I love your food, it's my favorite lunch around. During the hot summer days a light healthy option and a smoothie just hits the spot. I will keep coming back as long as the menu remains healthy and the ingredients stay natural. There are so many options for fried seafood and bar food in st. Cute lil outdoor restaurant. Healthy eats and good smoothies. I got a chicken salad and it filled me up.

we were gonna go to stir it up so we for sure could sit outside since it was a lovely day. we parked and got out of the car and began walking towards stir it up and some guy was yelling at us saying we can't park there and i said "it says parking for pit and stir it up" in front of the parking lot. he said 'you guys aren't going to pit'. i said 'yeah we're going to stir it up' and he said 'just move your car'. i replied 'the signs say parking for stir it up and pit' and he replied 'this parking is for pit only'. i then asked to see the sign that says that he said 'look around', i did and i pointed out the pit and stir it up sign but he said that wasn't correct which was very confusing? he was being very strange, i assume maybe he was intoxicated, claiming he caught us (even though we were standing in front of stir it up trying to figure out what to get). i replied saying 'if there's a sign saying i can't park here i'll obey, but since there isn't im going to go eat...' he then got up in my face saying he'd tow us i told him to please back up since he was so close to me i was extremely uncomfortable. he was yelling at us and being extremely rude. we moved the car to a public parking near by because of how genuinely scared and uncomfortable i was, and he went to his house which was right above the pit; then we went to stir it up to tell someone and the lady made it seem like it was our fault, saying how the parking is 30 mins only even though we were there for about 1 minute before we got yelled at while standing outside of stir it up while she watched. i had only asked her to confirm the parking was for stir it up patrons as well, she confirmed this but was still short and rude. we left stir it up and ended up going to beach comber instead which was lovely. great place if you want to be heckled and harassed! read more

Fantastic little place right by the beach. Outside dining isn't usually my thing but people have raved about this place and with good reason. I ordered a surfer chick and the GF picked the pita tosho, my meal was simple enough, burrito with rice black beans and white chicken meat but probably one of the best burritos I've had in some time, perfect proportion of ingredients not too much rice and the meat was succulent and tender. I had a bite of the pita tosho and was in heaven, and I thought the burrito was good, all topped off with one of there delicious smoothies. Fantastic all around! read more

I was there for 20 minutes and they played at least 5 different One Direction songs- so whoever is running the playlist has impeccable taste. however- none of the employees wore masks, and I think they should, considering it is a business and they could spread COVID easily. read more

I'm thankful that Stir it Up is once again pleasing customers. My quesadilla wasn't made correctly but they made it right. The best part is that the quesadilla isn't all cheese now, they are actually putting a nice portion of chicken on it again!! Food was fine but the service left plenty to be desired. With only 5 people in front of us, it took 25 minutes to get to the front of the line to order. After ordering, we waited an additional 35 minutes for 2 sandwiches. An hour wait for a meal may be expected and worth it at a sit down restaurant but not for a walk up beach lunch. We would have appreciated a heads up that the wait is so long for food as we would not have ordered. Another patron behind us was told after she had already paid of the long wait times and cancelled her order. Wish we'd have had the opportunity. read more

This is a cool place to stop by for lunch when coming off the beach. It is connected to a surf shop which adds to it's hip look. The parking is limited. Everything is made fresh to order. I had the tuna melt which they made with a special sauce and it was scrumptious. They have a solid array of smoothies made with fresh ingredients. I had the twister which tasted just like a pb&j sangwhich with bread on the side. The service was quick and friendly leaving you happy and time to spare on the beach. read more

To be fair, I like Stir It Up. I always eat there when I make a weekend beach trip, but on my last trip I found out they switched all of their orders to to-go orders, which means that they're producing tons of unnecessary waste. For example, my sandwich was wrapped in paper wrapped in aluminum foil, chips were in a separate baggie, sauce was in a separate plastic cup w lid and was stuffed in a bag all for me to turn around from the pick up window and unpack at my seat. I expect more from Stir It Up, especially since they are right near the ocean and I don't want to see that excess packaging wind up on the beach. Additionally, the freezer was down so there weren't any smoothies...no bueno for a day at the beach. Also, they closed an hour early (supposedly bc of the rain slowing things down but there were still customers). read more

Well to start off I really like the location it was located right off the beach so after coming off the beach you can literally walk straight to this location so it's really refreshing knowing that something is close by especially a fresh option .close to a surf shop as well if you need to get equipment to enjoy some water sports. The lady was very welcoming offering us free samples first got there so it open on my different decisions we can make on our drinks. I had a pina colada drink that is not listed on here and I substituted the whey protein with pea protein it gave the sweetness from a lot of the fruit a little bit more tart so it was more bearable to keep drinking not that the drinks are too sweet I just like more tart drinks it is very cool that they also offer that type of vegan option if you're not too prone to drinking a milk byproduct. i didn't try any of the food but the drinks are pretty good when it comes to selection . read more

Used to love this place, but don't like any of the changes "new management" has brought. This place always had the perfectly quirky, A-Street natural beach vibe to it. The menu is relatively the same, but the ambiance is gone. Loved the menu written out on long wooden boards, now they literally have a cheap looking laminated card that says "take one". The phrase don't screw up a good thing applies here. Keep things as they were and you'll be far more successful. read more

I was very disappointed in the service I received at Stir It Up. I placed a phone order with them to pick up my food, and when I arrived at the restaurant, I saw a sign that said "cash only." I have absolutely no problem with businesses that do this, but I had never been there before, so I had no idea this was their policy. When I told the girl at the counter that I didn't have enough cash, she pointed me to an ATM nearby. After taking out cash and returning to pay for my order, I suggested to her that the employees should mention this to people who place phone orders so they'll know to bring cash with them. Her reply was, "Yeah, we don't really announce that." Confused, I tried to clarify this with her, and she just kept repeating the same statement over and over, as if she didn't care in the slightest that this was an inconvenience. I also explained that when I placed my order over the phone, I asked the person on the line how much the total would be, but they hung up on me. The cashier's response to this was, "Yeah, we don't really tell people how much it is until they get here." In addition, they charged me for an item that I did not order. In terms of food quality, one person in my group really enjoyed the salad with hummus, but the burritos and tuna pita were not very good. The people running this business had an opportunity to win over a new long-term customer, but they blew it by being extremely rude and inconsiderate. I will never go there again. read more

Cute surf culture environment, all outdoor seating. We had the Surfer Girl burrito. It was stuffed with white rice, black beans, some cheese and chicken. (Had the Salsa on the side). It was very bland and lacked flavor. It wasn't bad, but with all the other choices out there, just rather go elsewhere. The smoothie was good, but nothing special. We stopped here one afternoon to get a smoothie and it was awesome. We got a Twisted and a an Uprising. The Twisted was very good but the Uprising was awesome! We also got a brownie which was deliciously decadent. We saw some of the meals there like the Pita Tosh and they looked really good. We'll have to go back sometime to try them. read more

As usual, the service is a little slow, but well worth the wait. I've sampled most of the menu but the Pita Tosh on wheat is by far my favorite. The slightly warm pita makes the hummus extra creamy. Then you get the spicy turkey, crisp greens and carrots, and the cool tomato and avocado. I could eat this everyday of my life. My friend had the Smoked Turkey pita and a smoothie with espresso (I can't remember the name). She said the smoothie wasn't great but somewhat enjoyable. Her pita looked pretty basic with turkey, cheese, and greens. I wish I lived closer to indulge myself more frequently. read more

I love this little place. Counter service, great vibe, Bob Marley lyrics, outdoor seating, and you can see the ocean while you eat. I've been twice, and both times I got the Nutty Mother, which is the only salad, and it is SO GOOD. I got the chicken salad, and then the salad also has avocado, grapes, cheese, almonds, cucumber, tomato, and really good dressing. I wish I knew the recipe for their dressing!
