Not quite sure why this location doesn't have a great review, I never once have an issue. In fact I come through here every time I head home from New York after the ferry. Most occasions I have my children and the staff here is absolutely amazing to them. They even recognized one day I was having an absolutely awful crazy time and really made me feel better. Stopped in yet again after another doctor appointment in New York before heading back to our other "home" and the manager Tyler was so nice. He made me exactly what I wanted despite it being a little "extra " lol plus he had a great recommendation for a snack. I'll be back in a couple of days. We unfortunately go to and from New York several times a month due to my health issues. They are getting better though, so hopefully it will be less frequent. Online ordering in the app is the way to go. They are usually busy but if you order online it's quick and easy to drop in, pick up your order and go wherever you're off to next. People seem nice although there's not a lot of interaction when you order to go through the app. The place is clean and there's nice seating inside and out. TLDR; easy to access from highway, lots of parking, a few electric charging stations, good coffee, smaller than anticipated Yaaay, first! Okay, not really. This location opened yesterday, August 25,2023. Let's take this in parts. Hours; Always take this with a grain of salt. For now, the hours are 5am-12am on most days. I included a picture. This is the best operation window of any Starbucks near. It's nice to have an option of a near-24 hour coffee shop without having to go to either Seymour or across town(our local roads are slow and I'm lazy), especially near 15. Those Dunkin's are truly fine, but I don't live there so :p Access; There's a drive-thru! While the cafe is on Main St(110), it's technically on Charlotte St, a glorified driveway off of Main. On RT 15 south, from the Sikorsky Bridge, the Starbucks is left off the first exit(53), and a block down the road. From northbound 15, the cafe is across Main St. at a light intersection (Main and Charlotte/ramp), immediately from the exit 53 ramp. This intersection is the fastest access point for drivers on main. Going from Ryders Ln at the north means driving through an entire separate parking lot. Idk if that's efficient but I do that out of habit. There's a Park and Ride across the Starbucks, with a pedestrian light for crossing. This Park and Ride has regular police presence, and is always plowed in the winter, so you can feel safe here. Unless you have to, avoid other means of walking here. This area is not walker friendly, despite being near a bus stop. A consistent percentage of Sikorsky drivers speed and run lights, and there is no dedicated sidewalk. Even aside the chopper chasers, there's always speeding here, even with police. I've done the walk, it's not fun. Big pickups will beep and stare. Cyclists fair better. The Starbucks is near the bike route crossing the Sikorsky Bridge, giving Milford suburbs and Commercial Park workers decent access. There seems to be a walk-up/bike window, too, but I haven't seen it in-use yet. Parking; I didn't see any bike racks, but there might be some around the back. Other than the Park and Ride, the Starbucks has 30ish parking spaces, and another parking lot directly next to it. I doubt parking will be an issue, especially since there's a drive-thru. Oh, and there are two electric charging stations! Inside; You see the pictures... hmm, maybe not much smaller than most suburban Starbucks, but really packed. The space is optimized for available seating over privacy or comfort zone, reminiscent of small bars or diners. This feels more like a commuter space than a hangout, following what seems to be a trend of cafes mirroring airport aesthetics. I don't like this style, but for such a small location near a commuter hub, this is a practical compromise. There's little merch here in comparison to other locations, so don't expect much. I'd really like a Stratford mug at some point. Sikorsky is right there, and so is the Housy. Slap those on a thermos, and maybe our Gazebo and library, and you got a decent design. Coffee!; I got a hot latte and an iced Apple Espresso. Late was a fine cuppa. The... well fancy latte by another name was sweet, and tasted like apple cinnamon oatmeal. I liked it. This staff is brought from other locations, especially the recently temporarily closed Shelton location, so experience isn't an issue. Final thoughts; A strong first showing. The house was operating efficiently. Coffee was good. I wish this was a cozier location, but for the space and location, I think this is perfect. read more

I went in at 6pm (busy time) and I had to leave my order bc they didn't have change for $50! How is a business so poorly run that it doesn't have change for $50. Smh. On top of that, the apparent supervisor, who said he didn't have change bc he was low on cash was very unprofessional in both appearance and manner, and showed no concern. So it's not surprising to me that at 6pm the place had almost nobody in it, and only 2 cars in the drive thru. This location has the most dangerous exit in a parking lot that I've ever experienced. There is one entrance into the Starbucks parking lot. There are "technically" two exits. However one of the exits serves as the entrance point to the parking lot. So, if a patron wants to head into Stratford, their only exit is the way they came in. The issue with this is, whoever designed the parking lot, did not designate an exit lane. So upon leaving to head towards Stratford, one would have to navigate a line of cars entering the parking lot. Quite literally, driving into oncoming traffic. I don't know how this passed any rough drafts or any inspection or how the design ended up on what I would presume are several desks and presumably was seen by several sets of eyes. WHO allowed this design to be implemented ? The only way to ensure that you do not get into an accident while leaving that parking lot is to exit with the intention of turning towards Shelton. read more

Literally just left this location 10 minutes ago. I stop all the time before my granddaughters skating lessons and the "hot" coffee is constantly cold. It's not like I'm asking for a special drink just hot black coffee... Can't get that right I could only imagine how the other stuff must be.
