Huge line of course but that's what is expected at such a popular spot! I wish the price point was a bit more justified, some of the coffees were lacking in flavor especially the vanilla iced latte my friend got. My friend raved about this coffee shop and she was not wrong! My husband and I were in the area on a Saturday morning and stopped by to grab drinks. There are plenty of seats indoor and outdoor but they did fill up fast. They have plenty of specialty drinks and a huge breakfast and lunch menu. We ordered two large speciality drinks and they were huge! We got the pistachio matcha and salted honey bee latte. Both were delicious. This place is more than great coffee...it's a vibe and a half. The service is quick and somewhat friendly. The interior is cozy and welcoming. The food - Last drop sammie - 4.5 out of 5 BEC (sesame bagel) - 4 out of 5 Coffee - Shaken iced latte on the fall menu with pumpkin cloud foam, brown sugar and I think caramel is ! came here one morning and it was so busy but in the best way possible - it was so lively and felt like you were at someone's house. something i haven't seen or felt since pre-covid, it just really made me smile. I'm blanking on the name of the sandwich i got but it was MOUTH WATERING! One of my favorite cafés in the 203 area it has really fun flavored lattes. I will say they are often very sweet so keep that in mind while ordering. I tried their food for the first time. I liked my turkey club and my friend got the bacon egg and cheese. It is always busy so keep that in mind. Make sure you give yourself enough time if you're trying to stop on the way to somewhere. What a cute cafe vibe and a nice selection of food as well! Got to touch down here on our way up to Massachusetts with our family of 5. We were able to sit at the large middle table with a little game for the kids to play. We ordered food and got to the their coffee bucket (how fun!). This momma runs on coffee so this place was it! Finally checked this place out! Walking in and immediately you can see how spacious this cute spot is. Enough tables and chairs around for everyone. There's a spot for their merch to check out. I loved that they had their regular drink menu and their seasonal menu. Lots of great options for drinks and food! Their breakfast and lunch options sound delicious. I ordered the cranberry mayo sandwich which has turkey, bacon, lettuce, onion and mayo on it. It was juicy, not dry. For coffee, I ordered the Cinnabon iced latte. Omgggggg soooooo good. Love trying local coffee shops and the last drop is definitely one of my favorites so far! They have a ton of options for coffee and specialty drinks. We tried the holiday cookie latte and it was delicious and not overly sweet. There's also good options for food like the bagels and sandwiches. Definitely recommend trying out the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. This place gets pretty busy especially on the weekends, but drinks and food come out pretty quick. I don't know what's the hype about this place. It seems like a regular coffee shop, but this appeared on my wife's IG feed and since she needed a place to touch down on the way up to MA, she decided to stop by here. The food was alright, wasn't anything special. I honestly expected more since it was on IG, but everyone has their own opinion. We ordered 2 sandwiches and some French toast and pancakes. We also had to get the bucket coffee. Do not get their specialty coffee selections. It was way too sugary and had more milk than coffee. The staff were alright, we didn't have much interaction besides ordering the food because after you order you don't need to interact with the staff ever again. They did not have a lot of tables inside, but they had a few tables outside. This is also assuming you're going there on a nice day. If they end up going there during a rainy day, you might not get a seat and will just have to take your coffee on the road. This place would probably just be a once in a lifetime pit stop for myself. read more

Found myself around this area of the state (Monroe) and my husband noticed that their was a coffee shop near by when he started up our GPS. Duh, we had to pop in at Last Drop Coffee Shop. This is a hidden gem, a cozy little cafe with plenty of seating, serving up coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch and pastries. I wish I could of stayed longer, but I got myself a hot Creme Brûlée Latte. It was a chilly, rainy, autumn day and this was the perfect cup of goodness. The latte was smooth, lightly sweet and delicious caramelized flavor. The drink also was made speedy quick. I wanted to take pictures of the space (it was very cute and cozy), but it was fairly crowded. There was a lot of seating for a small cafe and almost every seat was occupied. This is a sign to me that this place is well loved and people want to come, relax and enjoy coffee/food here. Last Drop Coffee Shop is an hour away from me and I hope to find an excuse to visit Monroe again. I'd love to try more drinks and their food items. My husband is the real MVP because I almost let this place pass me by! read more

My favorite coffee shop ever. The food is amazing, the dirty spiced chai is unbeatable, and the atmosphere is great. The line is usually long but not for nothing. When I'm in a rush I call in to order and I can be in and out quickly. They have great sandwich options and are accommodating to any requests you have. read more

Absolutely loved checking out this coffee shop! They have plenty of seating for you to sit down and bring your laptop to do some work. It does fill up fast though! I was glad I found myself a little table! The coffee is amazing, I tried the iced crème brûlée latte. And I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich as well! I wish I could have taken more pics except Last Drop in Monroe CT was quite busy. Im not the type who will just take pics of strangers without their consent. Im hoping to go back and actually sit inside and take in the sights. I took my order to go because snow was predicted and I could not tell if said snow would be bad. As always I got an iced drink I have to be really cold or forgot to say iced to get a hot drink. My order a large Muddy Waters which was mocha and hazelnut two of my fav coffee flavors. I had not eaten yet so I ordered a grilled steak and cheese. Let me tell You this sandwich was . Thick bread grilled to perfection with plenty of butter. Bad for the waistline but as far as Im concerned the way a grilled cheese should be. This sandwich was stacked with good quality steak. Then the cheese I want more writing about it. The cafe itself had about 7 tables and a small minimal space bar type area to sit at There was also a couch for those looking for a comfy staying for a while visit. Such good iced chai. I usually hate coffee shops that add way too much ice and use a very sugary syrup for chai, but this ice chai is perfectly iced and well-spiced and flavored. I also had a very good veggie sandwich. The patty was great and the whole sandwich was well flavored. Many vegetarian options can sometimes be too dry but this was a great sandwich. The shop is also super cute and vibey with so many books on the bookshelves that I enjoyed picking up and flipping through. On top of it all, the staff is super nice. read more

Great independently owned hometown coffee shop and cafe that serves lunch too. Always get friendly fast service and anything and everything I've ever tried here from coffee to chai to breakfast sandwiches and omelettes have always been delicious! The home fries are very flavorful and very good. The omelette was packed with veggies. I also got the chicken tender wrap and my mom got the grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. She loves hers! There's a book shelf of books you can browse and I just really dig the vibes of this place. Their coffee drinks are above all else!! He yelled if I put anymore gravy in it probably would be I'm assuming to messy. I advised him there was NO gravy and the pork was so dry you could choke on it. If he was a fair business man he should have offered for me to come back and add gravy, instead he was yelling defensively. That set me off. I will include a photo for all to judge what you think and where the "Gravy" was!! I've lived in this town 49 years and have been there 3 times. Very defensive! I will NEVER go there again! What ever happened to common courtesy?....

We were excited to find out we could both pick our own teas and that we didn't have to agree on one tea service (for food). The scones and treats were the same on all, but the sandwich selection varied on the three different afternoon tea menus. I opted for the "classic", which came with coronation chicken salad, ham/cheddar/mango chutney, cucumber, smoked salmon, and egg salad sandwiches. My husband got the "teas around the world" which came with Brie/apple/honey, ham/gruyere/dijon, olive tapenade/sundried tomato, chickpea/tzatziki, and a spiced chicken sandwich. All were excellent!! And when we finished, they even offered us more if we wanted them. The teas were great! We were allowed to pick our own teas (didn't have to share) from a broad menu of teas. The owner buys direct in London to get some of the finest teas that are not available locally. I am caffeine free so opted for Marian Wright Edelman's Guardian's Grace, a fruity herbal tea that was relaxation in a teacup for me. My husband first tried the Elizabeth Cady Stanton's Strength Blend, and the also had Mary McLeod Bethune's Essence of Uplift. They were all different, but all very tasty, and perfectly brewed. It also wasn't lost on me that the teas were named after amazingly strong women throughout history, and that we were enjoying them at a woman owned business, on International Women's Day! The scones were delivered fresh out of the oven with your choice of clotted cream, jam, or lemon curd (YES to all, please!) or also butter. The pastries I believe are a rotating selection, but all were tasty bites. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and hospitable. It's a nice easy pace, with two hours reserved for your experience. It was a wonderful escape from reality! I really appreciate Laurie, Donjae, and Ingrid for creating the perfect experience for us today. 10/10 highly recommend. Call ahead for reservations!

When I came by, I received a friendly and enthusiastic greeting from the personnel on site, who expressed no annoyance at being diverted from their normal wholesale activities. Shearwater has good beans, and those beans are roasted with care. I came in for some ground coffee that I could use while visiting Central Connecticut and walked away with a full pound of roasted coffee in the bean, 12oz of ground coffee, and a cold brew coffee to drink on my way back. The cold brew was delicious, and I liked the ground coffee (Honduras, I think) as well. The unground coffee made its way down to Philadelphia, where it's giving great pleasure to its recipients. Although Shearwater has espresso machines and some pour-over equipment on site, only the cold brew was available to retail customers like me. That was fair enough, but still somehow disappointing. If you're around Trumbull and are looking for some excellent coffee to take home, head directly to Shearwater without passing Go. Check their hours before you do, though; note for example that they close at 2PM on Fridays.
