Loved this place. I got chilaquiles and couldn't stop eating them despite being full and even ate an order of French toast that came topped with berries and delicious thick whipped cream that seemed homemade. The pricing was on the higher end but it was worth it. The staff was accommodating and attentive and pleasant. The interior was bright and inviting and their kitchen was an open concept one where diners can see right into it behind the counter that divided the dining room from the kitchen. This place is fantastic for breakfast and lunch. The service is always so fast, and the delivery of food is just as fast. You can taste quality and craft in what they do and they always look to please. Wish this place was open for dinner because we'd have a new hotspot to go to on a regular basis. Great spot for groups offering vegan, gluten-free, and all lunch and breakfast options. Ample parking around and they are closed on Wednesdays-did you accept credit card payments but you cannot tip on your credit card, so cash tip only, and these people deserve to be tipped well. By the way, did I mention how clean the bathroom is? Always a great sign to see that they put so much pride into everything they do! read more

Super cute hole in wall spot for breakfast and lunch. Authentic wholesome food. The corned beef hash was not canned and homemade definitely . The has browns were nice and crispy and had great flavor. My friend had the spicy sausage bowl and the sausage tasted super fresh and the bowl had amazing beans and eggs as well. Very cute and clean-looking inside. All three things that we ordered (breakfast bowl with steak, beans and guacamole among others; baguette breakfast sandwich and a belgian waffle with fresh fruits) were quickly brought, looked inviting and tasted great. WORTH A TRIP!!! The food quality is excellent. Amazing brunch options. When I say excellent, I mean: perfectly prepared, seasoned, and presented. I like my poached eggs well done, they do it perfectly. The Mexican dishes are DELICIOUS. Never had better in CT. The service is fantastic. Prompt, polite, and always anticipating needs. One of Monroe hidden "Gems".. Great food, comfortable atmosphere and a nicely designed restaurant space. Simple but modern.

My favorite! Fresh food prepared by an experienced chef and wait staff. I love their shredded corned breaded hash, fresh fruit platter, burrito bowls, and tacos. I'll note that the bathroom, kitchen and restaurant are squeaky clean :) read more

Central 25 is the sister restaurant of Trumbull Cafe and grill (TCNG) which is a local favorite and always has a line out the door. Central 25's menu has some of the same items in addition to new ones. Always the best service and freshest food and extremely clean. This place is amazing and an absolute must try. Modern diner-style place with some Mexican menu highlights. They have outside seating, roll up windows for fresh air inside and a breakfast counter too. I had the chilaquiles which were great. The limited breakfast menu is nicely thought out. The chia yogurt bowl is nice but pricey at $14. The French toast breakfast was small, especially for $17. But it was good. My partner said his Eggs Benedict on crumpets was stellar. They suffer most here from the service staff. If I ask nicely for a lemon wedge to go in my iced tea three times and then it is never brought, and you keep walking by me, that bothers me. Lol. Again, good food but a bit pricey for the serving size. Fresh quality ingredients though, so maybe that cancels out the cons? Just don't ask for lemon. read more

I was happy to go to Central 25 to meet a friend. I have tried it a few times. Although, the food seems good unfortunately the servers and cooks seem more concerned with their music environment than the comfortability and enjoyment of the experience of their customers. More than once my friend and I thought we were in a disco. The music was extremely loud, to the point where literally sitting across from each other we couldn't hear each other. Several times we kindly asked if they music could be lowered. Each time the workers/waitress smiled and said they would but nothing changed. I gave the restaurant another try hoping it was just an off day but the same thing happened. If the owners want this place to last, as the food seems good, they are most likely going to loose customers because the customers are not considered over the workers music decibel. I'm sure many people are coming to dine and converse with their friends, not shouting at each other as if a DJ is in the room. Please consider as I have heard this same complaint from others. Went for breakfast with my family. Clean, friendly staff Food was excellent. I had Chilaquiles. It was excellent. The pancakes were equally as good topped with Belgian chocolate, a very fun twist. My wife had a baguette egg sandwich. It was both salty and sweet. Fantastic meal. Look forward to our return. read more
