Really happy that I stopped here! This coffee bar is located inside a gas station (which caught me off guard) but it's beautifully decorated! They also have a drive thru. They have a lot of fun specials like the hailey bieber smoothie, dubai latte, blueberry pancakes latte and more! I have always wanted to try the hailey bieber smoothie so i got that (and my bank account hurt after seeing it was $17) but it looked stunning! I thought it was going to be strawberry and banana heavy, but honestly i'm not even sure what the exact flavor was, but it was a fun experience! I also got their grilled chicken caesar wrap which was sooooo delish. It had such a delicious caesar dressing and the ratio of lettuce to chicken was on point. I highly recommend! I also tried their chocolate chip cookie which was phenomenal!

Located in Monroe off of the Turnpike you'll find Village Coffee inside of the new Noble gas station. The town has not had many options for good coffee or healthy meals, it's so nice to have something that is conveniently located. Village Coffee Bar offers protein shakes with many health booster add-in options, gelato, açaí bowls, salads, tostatos, paninis, sandwiches and more! The team aims to create a friendly and enjoyable environment for everyone who visits. They even offer a drive-thru and will be continuing to evolve their seating areas inside & out. There is parking available, and you can of course grab gas while you stop! I had the pleasure of trying a pistachio latte with pistachio cold foam (which was delicious!) For food: the New Yorker (lox bagel), PB Banana Bonanza (on croissant), Avocado delight (toast), and sampled their Kay's special (chicken salad with cashews). Key Features: drive-thru, indoor seating, outdoor seating, milk alternatives (including pistachio milk), breakfast, lunch and coffee options, rotating specials menu.

Amazing food, service, and coffee!! The food was very fresh and light! Do not let the fact it's in a gas station keep you away.

Village Coffee is taking gas station coffee to a whole new level! My friend and I popped in for a quick breakfast/lunch, and we both agreed we've never experience higher quality food at a gas station before. There's freshly baked pastries, healthy choices, fall-inspired coffees, and our panini even came with freshly sliced meat and cheese! The pistachio affogato was a nice treat afterwards too. I wish I lived closer so I could pop through the drive thru often! Monroe is lucky to have such a high-quality, convenient option.

One reason it took me so long to try AFFILIATION - I learned that this place is a second location for massiminos in Bridgeport which is a pretty Italian place in its own right ENTRANCE - as you come in you can see the main counter in the back. There are a few tables around if you want to sit and eat/drink coffee. AMBIANCE - it's a very clean and deli looking decor. DRY PRODUCTS - they have a small selection of Italian items from dried pasta to jarred sauces. Typical brands that you see in supermarkets or other Italian stores. There are a few imported from Italy brands but I'm no expert to say yea or nay PIZZA - they have at the counter a pizza station where you can a buy by the slice. They looked pretty good with a lot of variety. COFFEES - they have regular plus they make expresso, macchiatos, lattes etc. I tried the macchiato which was excellent PASTRY- they gave a few at the counter. The breakfast buns and treats. I noticed a crème pastry which I tried. It was OK but in reality the pastry part was super good but the inside crème would have been better if it was like a Boston cream filling SERVICE - definitely 5+ stars. The employees couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Very congenial with small talk. Not the usual cold QSR attitude you get from the fast food chains PRICES - I only got coffee and a pastry that was over $8. I'd say average or a little on the higher side but I didn't look at the menu on the screen too closely although it was a little difficult to see.

I'm going to be fair here and preface this with the fact that I haven't been back to this place in…read morequite some time. Nothing much has changed... it is still cash or check, which back in 2017 didn't really phase me... but I'm pretty surprised this hasn't changed. I knew the menu prices could never have been what they were nearly 7 years ago but I was surprised even when taking this into account. A chicken parm sandwich plus a peace tea (which really should be somewhere between $0.99 and $1.99) ended up at $18.35. I was totally floored. The $6 sandwich (+ toppings) has nearly tripled in price. $2 per extra topping? I really can't fathom $2 for a little bit of some topping (onions, peppers, whatever). I know things are different but it isn't like I've been under a rock for 7 years. A chicken parm grinder depending on where you go is about $8-$12. I can name 5 delis off the top of my head that can back this up. Let's get to the sandwich itself. It was bad. Way too much breading and soggy. So so soggy. This sandwich had been wrapped up for less than 10 minutes and I nearly pulled out a fork and knife to eat it. I'm so sad. I gave this place 5 stars before. I won't be returning I'm sorry to say. PS: He wasn't the nicest either. I know you don't work for free. But I do have a right to ask about the price.

I was going next door and advised him I'd be back in about 10 minutes. He was ok with that. I picked up the sandwiches and paid "cash" for the sandwiches and went home to eat them. To my surprise there was "NO" gravy on them. I called to express my disappointment and he yelled at me and said, "I Asked you if you wanted cheese; which I had said no to. He yelled if I put anymore gravy in it probably would be I'm assuming to messy. I advised him there was NO gravy and the pork was so dry you could choke on it. If he was a fair business man he should have offered for me to come back and add gravy, instead he was yelling defensively. That set me off. I will include a photo for all to judge what you think and where the "Gravy" was!! I've lived in this town 49 years and have been there 3 times. Very defensive! I will NEVER go there again! What ever happened to common courtesy?....

Came here after stumbling on this place searching "vegan coffee shop", wow did they deliver! The staff is super friendly, and had great recommendations! We received our food and drinks quickly. We ordered two iced strawberry matcha lattes. Unfortunately, they were pretty terrible and borderline undrinkable. I don't doubt that their coffee is good, but this was disappointing. The color was not great, it had no actual matcha flavor, and not nearly sweetened enough (even with the strawberry syrup). It pretty much tasted like chalky water with strawberry seeds. I ordered the turkey bacon, egg, Gouda cheese with spinach on a multigrain roll. I enjoyed it, and both the turkey and eggs were cooked well. I feel like there wasn't enough cheese, but maybe that's just me. However, the sandwich was kind of dry and I had to ask for ketchup so I could just have some moisture. My partner ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich. The chicken didn't have much flavor, but the sauce was good.

She came home with only the cake which was infuriating as I had guests coming in two hours and we don't live particularly close but on the other side of town. When I called their first excuse was that I put in two separate orders. I did not. They finally admitted they decided to do two orders (it wasn't that big so not sure why). They should have reverenced on each order that there were two orders but didn't. I asked them to send someone with the rest of my order and they refused. Their solution was that I ask one of my guests to go pick it up. That's insane. My guests don't know their way around and how inconsiderate would it be to send them on a 45 minute journey when they arrived to the party? It wasn't on anyone's way at all. Their next solution was to give me a refund of the part they held back. No. I absolutely needed those items and the biggest issue with that was that the last time they messed up and overcharged me, they couldn't refund me on the spot but said they'd have a credit behind the counter for me. When I went to use that credit, conveniently no one had any knowledge of said credit. Absolutely do not trust them. I had to pay a neighbor to go pick it up for me. I don't have complaints about the food this time but it's only average - it was my daughter that wanted a sickly sweet frosting (think Pillsbury from a can) that I couldn't find at any other bakery. I will never take my chances with them again. They've now messed up two parties.
