Most may argue that flavor is above texture . For the most part I can agree on this. Even though the bacon was way too greasy and the bagel or cream cheese tasted like it had a hint of cake flavoring in it such as vanilla, the texture of the bagel was incredible. Crispy on the thinnest outer layer and soft with the right amount of moisture on the inside . ***Gluten friendly*** Lots of gluten free bagel options!! However, they weren't the best GF bagels I've ever had. I ordered a pork roll egg and cheese on a garlic GF bagel and an everything GF bagel with the jalapeño cream cheese. I would 1000% recommend the jalapeño cream cheese SO good. I was there pretty early on a Saturday and the line wasn't too long. It did take a while to get my food, but everything came out hot and fresh and well cared for with my gluten allergy. They definitely have a great community vibe there - customers and staff were chatting so I felt like it was a nice local atmosphere. Fresh GF bagels are hard to come by - although these weren't my favorite I give them 4 stars for making it accessible and having many options! Yum! They have great lunch sandwiches here. I got the marmalade sandwich on sourdough, very good. The service is decent, but actually pretty quick too. The inside is modern but clean and nice. Good selection of bagels and sandwiches at this place. I came in on a weekday morning so it wasn't too crowded. I'm a traditionalist so I ordered the Kaatz Pond sandwich-lox, cream cheese, onions, tomato and capers with a multigrain everything bagel. The bagel was just as I like with crisp exterior and soft interior and the sandwich had heaps of cream cheese. Good quality lox and fresh, ripe tomatoes. All in all a very good sandwich! read more

I truly have no idea how this place gets so much hype. I had a bacon egg and cheese from here recently and it was so mediocre. The bagels are... not great. I will take brueggars bagels ANY DAY over these. Not sure if they make them or if they outsource them but if y'all are outsourcing then buy them from brueggars because whoever your vendor is, sucks. Anyway, the BEC was blah. No flavor, the egg was just okay and the bacon needs to be cooked more well done. Overall not great. The iced coffee was okay. Nothing to rave about either. I went to another spot for breakfast and the Yelp site said open but it wasn't and I was hungry and don't really know the area so I got out and looked around and saw this sign for JBagels down the road- so glad I did. I had the most delicious Bacon, scrambled egg and cheese I've ever had on a super delicious, freshly made bagel- it was heaven. The coffee was also very good.
