Very cool spot by the train. The decor is very fun too. Was able to get some work done here in the am hours (wifi available), lunch hours and after were not so work conducive, but was perfect time for a break. Got a croissant while I was there too which was real good. read more

We had an ok time here, not the best and not the worst. Employees were nice enough taking our order and everything came out promptly. It's kind of soulless and corporate feeling inside. We ordered 3 egg and cheese sandwiches on croissants, an iced coffee and a cinnamon roll and it cost over $40. The sandwiches were good, but at $7.50 each, felt quite overpriced. I usually get egg and cheese sandwiches elsewhere in Fairfield for about $5.50. Not worth the drive for me personally. read more

I had heard great things about Wake-Cup-Coffee. I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the taste of the coffee and, even more so, with the service. Overall, it did not live up to the expectations I had based on the reviews. read more

Picked this place cause it was at the top of YELP's suggestions. Super cute shop- the name is so Punny! Service was great. House made pretzels was so so good, the saltiness complimented my iced mocha so so well! Chai is currently too hot to get a good read. Definitely great stop to day 5 of our road trip. read more

This location is next to the Fairfield Black Rock Metro North station. The inside feels cozy with warm lighting. It's a nice place to work, study or meet with friends. I truly enjoy the freshly baked pastries - the plain and chocolate croissants, the savory , cheeese danish and the pretzels. The coffee is good too. The owners are very sweet and friendly. They hosted an event at my apartment community. Soon they may have live jazz music events. I'm looking forward to that. read more

Tucked away in Fairfield right next to the station, this café serves up some of the best coffee in the area -- smooth, bold, and clearly made with care. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and quick, even when it gets busy. Quick coffee break in between commuting and a community event. They had a pretty big selection. it was better than a deli yet more modern than a diner. I was greeted and everyone was nice. They have a bathroom, outdoor seating, a beautifully styled lounge are and other seating options. This is a very convenient location next to the metro north. They have a parking lot too, oh and lets not forget when weather permits a nice outdoor space too. The vibes were truly welcoming I almost forgot to mention the food. The coffee was delicious and the food was amazing. i recommend their bacon egg and cheese. read more

Wow! Didn't expect this when I walked in. Usually coffee spots at train stations are like truck stop gas stations, convenient and nothing special. Wake Up Coffee however is the real deal. Smooth jazz music in a bright and spacious room with plenty of seats. A good place to grab some locally roasted coffee, to get some work done, or just to hang out for some good conversation. They have food on the menu as well, and I think I found another spot to visit again. read more

Good coffee. Nice atmosphere. Interesting pastries. Convenient to the train. Service was unenthusiastic but reasonable.

I found this place after an event in Fairfield, doing some research through Yelp. The place is definitely cute. The coffee and food was good. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and my friend ordered avocado toast. The staff was friendly. I really did enjoy the different instruments on the wall that were red and the different types of pictures that were there. The only issue we had is that we had to drive around the block several times to find parking because the parking in front of the building is small. There seems to be parking in the area, but it's either paid parking or it's not clear where or where you can't park. So be very careful when you do attempt to park in the area if you can't get in front of the building. read more

The owner and his server both are friendly and accommodating. My issue is with the ill-fitting lid on the cup of coffee - the large cup. It comes off constantly. It's a hazard taking it on the train. For a six dollar cup of coffee this should not happen! Not just once, but twice have I grappled with this problem. The ambience of the café is warm, clean and attractive. The website, though, doesn't work. read more

Great food, good vibe, coffee is solid though I wish their large size was bigger for train rides!

Nice sandwich, but tasteless jasmine tea. When I asked for extra tea bag for my large tea, the manager said that it is not her problem. I think this is unacceptable way to talk to the customer read more

Im not sure how I forgot to take a pic of my coffee!! Cute location with a small parking lot next to the train station. I ordered my standard go to when I am not quite sure what to order - Iced mocha. Apparently there iced mocha if I remember correctly is made with nutella. I LOVE Nutella. My husband and I love a french onion soup. This was different in the cheese was not entirely covering the top. While we would have preferred more cheese this soup was excellent. Obviously homemade soup. I loved the grilled pretzel bread with our soup. It was fun and delicious dipping the bread into the soup. For sure a spot we would stop in when in Fairfield again. read more

Wake-Cup-Coffee's is such a cute spot right off the metro! It is in walking distance from the train, offers a lot of different seating options (inside and out). Their menu has true Bavarian pretzels like no other, not to mention as a base option for their breakfast sandwich buns! Their pastries, desserts or soup/salad options are just some other delicious options. Cauliflower (GF) and vegan options are available. For coffee: coffee their lattes and their mochas are popular with the option for milk alternatives. For those non coffee drinkers (or kids) their hot Nutella is a top hit. They even have a Frappé (TRUE whipped coffee...not your Frappuccino). The environment is bright and welcoming. The owners are friendly and always around. They do in house roasting, coffee beans can be purchased to go. Fast for their food and drink options. read more

Love the small, cozy atmosphere in this coffee shop, and I LOVE the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich! Everyone is friendly when I come in every time. My only issue is that they charge $2 more just to have it on a different bun than their pretzel bun. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the pretzel bun, but the croissant is smaller and should not cost extra to swap... at least not $2. Absolutely delicious sandwich! read more

This was our second time coming to the cafe. We loved it the first time we were here, and plan to come again. However, my husband and I were disappointed by the service we received. 1) our barista forgot a pastry that we had already paid for, and sold them ahead. By the time we went to pick it up, they said that it was already sold out. 2) they didn't heat up the pastries, and rushed to give it to us. 3) we had asked for water, and didn't get it either. While we would come back again, because we do enjoy the place, we would recommend double checking your order once you make it especially if you have already paid for it. read more

A lot of good things about this neighborhood place. First of all, its super welcoming, with a cool vibe and design. Second, the service is amazing. Friendly, kind, prompt. And third the food and drinks. My 7 year old and I love coming here. Her favorite is Hot Nutella (watch out Hot Chocolate). I love their Mochas. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious, and come on an awesome pretzel bun (my daughter's favorite is bacon, egg and cheese). And their lox sandwich has some of the best smoked salmon I've ever tasted. For those that commute to NYC, it's literally next to the platform, which is super convenient. Glad they were able to hold through the worst of Covid, and hope they will be around for a long time. read more

I hardly give 5 star reviews but this place really impressed me. On a recent visit to the Porsche dealership in Fairfield, I was hungry enough to look up a coffee place for a sandwich and a cookie and this one came up. I had not heard of this place as it is pretty new, and was surprised to see how big it was. It is kind of tucked in it's own place a bit hidden from the main road. What impressed me the most is the cleanliness of the interior. Everything was so clean that I hesitated to even sit down. Onto the food, as I was hungry I ordered quiet a bit, and a few itmes to-go. The Smoked Salmon sandwich on pretzel bead was simply delicious and the Nutela Cookie was humongous. I also got a Mango Mouse cup and a chocolate cream puff, all of which were delicious. The prices are a bit steep, but given it is Fairfield, be prepared to pay a 20% premium. Highly recomended read more

Large and delicious pretzel sandwiches rarified by my German exchange students! Sehr gut!!

Stellar coffee shop right near Fairfield Metro train station. Laughably hipster interior, but it's well-done and well-lit. Fast wifi. Surprisingly good croissants. Outside seating, as well (on Astroturf, but hey). Only demerits are that the coffee isn't world-class (but here it's about so much more than that, and I don't expect gourmet Fairfield pourovers), and that the sexy sax music can be a tiny bit much after awhile. But it's a great hang and workspace and coffeeshop. read more

Cancel your breakfast plans and head to Wake Cup Coffee. Tucked next to the NYC-bound train tracks is a cafe that offers exceptional breakfast items, breads and pastries. I got takeout over the summer and the omelettes were cooked and presented perfectly with my requested avocado slices arrayed nicely on top. I returned yesterday and after seeing an online tip, ordered the quesadilla. Wow!! This was the best quesadilla I've ever had. Seriously! The difference is that thin and crispy crepes take the place of tortillas, taking the cheesy dish to new heights. I should note that the quesadilla also has ham so if that's not your thing, let them know. I used to have a go-to breakfast sandwich, but this is my new favorite by far. The iced coffee is great, a nice complement to the quesadilla. I am definitely headed back. I know I want the quesadilla, but next time I want to try their signature pretzel buns, pastries and desserts. Also, the dining area is quite large with lots of tables spread out. When it's warmer, they have outdoor seating. Everyone was very helpful and my order didn't take too long. I recommend a trip to Wake Cup!! I know I will soon be a regular there. read more
