This location is next to the Fairfield Black Rock Metro North station. The inside feels cozy with warm lighting. It's a nice place to work, study or meet with friends. I truly enjoy the freshly baked pastries - the plain and chocolate croissants, the savory , cheeese danish and the pretzels. The coffee is good too. The owners are very sweet and friendly. They hosted an event at my apartment community. Soon they may have live jazz music events. I'm looking forward to that.

A convenient coffee shop at Fairfield Metro Station. Grab and go! They also have baked goods if you like or you may grab a refreshment. The shop is small but enough room to get in and out.

Quick coffee break in between commuting and a community event. They had a pretty big selection. it was better than a deli yet more modern than a diner. I was greeted and everyone was nice. They have a bathroom, outdoor seating, a beautifully styled lounge are and other seating options. This is a very convenient location next to the metro north. They have a parking lot too, oh and lets not forget when weather permits a nice outdoor space too. The vibes were truly welcoming I almost forgot to mention the food. The coffee was delicious and the food was amazing. i recommend their bacon egg and cheese.

Wow! Didn't expect this when I walked in. Usually coffee spots at train stations are like truck stop gas stations, convenient and nothing special. Wake Up Coffee however is the real deal. Smooth jazz music in a bright and spacious room with plenty of seats. A good place to grab some locally roasted coffee, to get some work done, or just to hang out for some good conversation. They have food on the menu as well, and I think I found another spot to visit again.

We arrived to tracks early and what a convenience and bonus to be able to grab a great cup of coffee! Lots of seating inside and a nice place to relax and wait for your train!

I found this place after an event in Fairfield, doing some research through Yelp. The place is definitely cute. The coffee and food was good. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and my friend ordered avocado toast. The staff was friendly. I really did enjoy the different instruments on the wall that were red and the different types of pictures that were there. The only issue we had is that we had to drive around the block several times to find parking because the parking in front of the building is small. There seems to be parking in the area, but it's either paid parking or it's not clear where or where you can't park. So be very careful when you do attempt to park in the area if you can't get in front of the building.

Nice sandwich, but tasteless jasmine tea. When I asked for extra tea bag for my large tea, the manager said that it is not her problem. I think this is unacceptable way to talk to the customer

Im not sure how I forgot to take a pic of my coffee!! Cute location with a small parking lot next to the train station. I ordered my standard go to when I am not quite sure what to order - Iced mocha. Apparently there iced mocha if I remember correctly is made with nutella. I LOVE Nutella. My husband and I love a french onion soup. This was different in the cheese was not entirely covering the top. While we would have preferred more cheese this soup was excellent. Obviously homemade soup. I loved the grilled pretzel bread with our soup. It was fun and delicious dipping the bread into the soup. For sure a spot we would stop in when in Fairfield again.

Wake-Cup-Coffee's is such a cute spot right off the metro! It is in walking distance from the train, offers a lot of different seating options (inside and out). Their menu has true Bavarian pretzels like no other, not to mention as a base option for their breakfast sandwich buns! Their pastries, desserts or soup/salad options are just some other delicious options. Cauliflower (GF) and vegan options are available. For coffee: coffee their lattes and their mochas are popular with the option for milk alternatives. For those non coffee drinkers (or kids) their hot Nutella is a top hit. They even have a Frappé (TRUE whipped coffee...not your Frappuccino). The environment is bright and welcoming. The owners are friendly and always around. They do in house roasting, coffee beans can be purchased to go. Fast for their food and drink options.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese on Pretzel Bun

Love the small, cozy atmosphere in this coffee shop, and I LOVE the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich! Everyone is friendly when I come in every time. My only issue is that they charge $2 more just to have it on a different bun than their pretzel bun. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the pretzel bun, but the croissant is smaller and should not cost extra to swap... at least not $2. Absolutely delicious sandwich!

Was so surprised by how high quality the brunch was here! I had their coffee previously but on my second visit I tried their avocado toast which was super gourmet and tasty. The avo toast was made on their pretzel bread which was absolutely delish and everything was so well seasoned.

Excellent service, delicious sandwiches, and amazing lattes! I visited the cafe with my girlfriend and she remained absolutely satisfied with the bacon egg and cheese sandwich.

Spacious interior and cute decor. We got an iced caramel latte, muffin, and almond croissant. The latte and muffin were not that great...would not get them again. Almond croissant was really good though. Service was quick.

She was a huge part of our magical experience. I started off with the buffalo cauliflower. I will preface this by saying I'm not a big Buffalo flavor person, but I'm a vegetarian and didn't feel like getting my usual vegetarian app - brussel sprouts. I wanted to expand my palate that evening and surprisingly I actually really liked it. The amount of blue cheese was perfect for me (despite the reviews) as it would have made it too salty and greasy. Next was my entree: Modified Kettle Cooked Zoodles. As a vegetarian, I never have the highest expectations but I was blown away! Chris our server was so sweet to have this customized for me. We took the idea of hubby's Branzino sauce and added more veggies to the Kettle cooked Zoodle dish. It was so yummy! Hubby's Branzino: fish was well cooked, elegant flavors from the Puttanesca sauce with spinach and mashed potatoes were excellent! Faux-ito: I got two, the first was the classic, the second was a mix of strawberry and pineapple. Both delicious mocktails! The Forbidden Pear: hubby got this one. very balanced, not sticky sweet. I can't believe this gem is just sitting here in Fairfield. Not too far off from a night in the city. We will definitely be back!

As a recent Fairfield U grad, I have to give the grape 5 stars. If you were a Fairfield senior and…read moredid not go to the grape at least once a week, then I'm not sure what you did. In fact, you should just walk out to the light house during low tide and wait a few hours until you can't see the shore... I'm proud to be a regular at the grape, present during the school year on most Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. James H. makes a fantastic timeline about a typical grape-night. And Mike C... to my defense and the defense of my classmates, only about 10% of seniors fell under the tube top/gelled hair category. However, I can say that about 95% of us were blacked out before close. I was there a few times during the summer and I have to say, I'm very disappointed about the light crowd. Even though the students are gone, I figured locals and shoobies would pour in more frequently. Regardless, the grape is the epitome of the Fairfield U social scene. My night at the grape (after a hefty pregame at lantern point) would usually start with a few vodka 180's and a half a dozen house shots (which are only $1). Chris, the DJ, pretty much sticks to hip-hop all night. And even though Fairfield might be the least diverse campus on the East Coast, we know how to drink and embarrass ourselves through the art of dance, preferably right next to the dartboards. We also know how to waste money in games like Buck Hunter, Lobster Claw, and Bowling. On Tuesdays, most drinks are $2, and all the time $2 bud light bottles are hard to beat. I've never heard of another bar that supports a shitshow of a water/booze fight the night after graduation and gives out commorative t-shirts to their loyal Fairfield U senior customers. Sea Grape Cafe, I love you.

The people that got to try the made daily, fresh artisanal bread could not stop raving about it. If you're on the hunt for a traditional French bakery with authentic French and European pastries, desserts, and breads, you will happily walk out of here with a bag of wonderful goodies. Brioches, chocolate Plies, Pinwheels, fruit turnovers, Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee Cakes, Danishes, Beignets, Scones, Fruit Tarts, Palmiers. The list goes on and on and I haven't even gotten to their cookies, macarons, baguettes, rolls, challah, cakes, quiches, and sandwiches. Seriously, you can have three meals a day here for a month and never duplicate anything. When I walked in, the dining room was pretty busy with customers enjoying a late lunch. The ordering line for baked goods was around five deep, which gave me plenty of time to check out the goods. I ended up with a nice assortment of a chocolate croissant, a chocolate Plie, a fruit turnover, donuts, and a fruit pie. We had some of the goodies last night and a bit more for breakfast today. The chocolate plié was amazing, and honestly, everything we've tried so far has been great. Easy FIVE STARS, n'est-ce pas?
