I rarely ever get my Starbucks here, but the few times I have been here it's been nice! They always make my drink PERFECTLY, I'm very particular about my ice, I hate too much of it. I love Starbucks however every time I go to the Starbucks near the Moorpark college campus, I'm always leaving disappointed. The first time around my drinks were incorrect so I didn't think much of it. Disappointed sure but mistakes happen, however I went three more times after that and either one of the drinks are wrong, or all of them taste off. I know the majority of the workers are college students however isn't there a senior manager to help teach them to make the correct drinks? Every other Starbucks I have been to the drinks all typically taste the same. However whenever I go to this one they either taste funky or are just missing something. Don't come here expecting an outside patio and/or a place to sit on the inside. The patio doesn't exist and the storefront is directly in the sun. Sorry. And the local patrons take up all of the small amount of seating available on the inside. Double Sorry. So I went here 3 times now and every time, they get my Order wrong. When I was ordering, it seemed like I was annoying the lady. They never call out my order. So unless you stand by the order pick up, you may not know it's ready. I got the drink and they forgot the mocha drizzle. I went to the counter to try and ask them if they can just add some. On my way to Cafe A La Mode! The service at this Starbucks is terrible. I've had wrong orders, an employee digging in their ear and then touching customer items. But don't you dare complain to Emily! She will punish you, be rude to you and obviously nice to the next person in line. Last year I purchased 2 coffees, and 1-2 food items every day. This school year, I probably have only been there once a week and striving to go even less! Emily needs to work for TSA or in the back office. It's sad. This used to be my favorite Starbucks and it has hideously gone downhill. Don't ever complain to Emily. There used to be another lady there that was so sweet and so happy to fix mistakes. Place is really good I think I come here often and there's never bad customer service. Only one guy some buff dude but think he was just covering. Restrooms are always clean and nice . Plenty of tables they keep it clean . Drinks are always good and quick service. Parking is plenty. I think I come back cause it is so great with their customer service and I can't complain. Terrible service. Extremely slow. Got the order wrong. I ordered a hot English breakfast tea. What showed up was a cold, green concoction. When I pointed out that the order was incorrect, the manager (based on other reviews, that must be Emily) was insulting, arrogant, rude, and abusive. I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee per say, but I do partake in the holiday type drinks that Starbucks has to offer. For every day fare, I prefer local roasters, which there seem to be none in this area. Whenever I write a review about a chain-ey type place, I like to take into consideration the service. It's hard to get poor service at Starbuck's as it seems they were perhaps trained at Disney University. I was helped by a charming young man who called me out by name several times wearing a little pride flag pin. I love to see the LGBTQ represented in areas where it may or may not be widely accepted. Everything here is great, except they keep the temperature of the store so cold that I can't stay long, which would make a world of difference if I could. Sometimes I need to escape from my kids and get some work done for an hour or two or sometimes I want to take my kids there to read or play games but it's too cold. read more

What a disaster! This is the worst Starbucks experience I've ever had. The inexperienced and overwhelmed crew of two made sure to go out of their way to make incorrect orders at world record pace. Along with the customary name misspelling, the constant edits on the cups and lack of direction made sure to confuse the poor girl making the drinks. Needless to say this kind of ineptitude lead to orders being remade and people waiting in line for what seemed an eternity. I'm not sure where the "A" crew was today since I have been to this one before many times, but this was a terrible experience and a lost cause. Don't know what to order and the have you taste something you don't like they will give you a different drink free of charge. Some times they will even have the drink on the house.
