Last night I walked in there at 10:30 when they close at 11 and the kid working comes up, walks in front of us while we're standing there with an empty yogurt cup, and pushes every single yogurt machine out of the way to the back so that customers can't reach it , including myself, and walks away to the back with a straight face. So while I'm standing there ready to be a paying guest along with somebody else, this kid comes and pushes every machine to the back so we can't get any yogurt, 30 minutes before they close. 1 star.........wow....here is why: Been going to Yogurtland for years (over a decade in different cities). This location has been unpleasant to visit 1. Prices. I know everything has gone up but to pay $34 for 3 cups of yogurt (42 Oz all together) is outrageous. Do they not get that there are plenty of other choices for dessert? 2. This one, is by far, the one thing that gets to me. You pay for your items, and they ask, would you like a bag? (Arrived alone and paying alone, how the heck am I supposed to carry 3 cups?), to which I answer "and spoons", before I get asked the ridiculous question. 3 spoons get tossed in the bag and then the bag gets handed over to me. With 5 people behind me, which mind you, had been waiting with me for some to come out and tend to us, now waiting for me to carefully bag my items (which felt like an eternity, especially with the eyes of the cashier on me insinuating, with the look and crossed arms, to speed it up a little). Every other yogurtland I've visited, with the exception of one, always nicely bagged your items. When I voiced my opinion, that one store changed their ways. Hoping this one does the same? This is the best yogurtland location. The toppings are fresh and the new peach tart flavor is delicious. Raymond at the counter is helpful and kind. He really made this trip for daughter's birthday extra special. read more

I started going there in August 2023. EVERYTIME I went in, the worker would add topping if you wanted. I never add because I fell in love with just coconut. Today when I went in, there were three grade school kids fishing up their own toppings. They were using spoons, but they used their hands to fill the spoons. When I mentioned this to the worker, whom I have never seen before, she said they had allowed since May of last year to do this HUH??? I'm warning others to file a report with the health department in they have become sick after eating there. I will be filing a report with the health department asap. That's so gross and insanitary. I love this location but today (Sunday, June 16, 2024) at about 12:30 pm, I got two yogurts for my kids. As they started finishing their yogurts, my daughter found a tiny roach on the bottom of her yogurt. Wow! What has happened to this Yogurtland? We walked in and it was completely empty. We started filling our cups and we heard someone in the bathroom violently throwing up. We looked at each other not knowing if it was an employee or a customer. Then we went to the cashier and had to yell for someone 4-5 times. We asked for toppings and she said, "you serve yourself!" Then walked back behind the wall. We were debating leaving because we didn't want to get sick, but we had already put yogurt in our cups. At times this place can be overloaded with people and their employees fail to handle the cleaning and checkout. Half the time the yogurt isn't yogurt but ice slush. They take away the good flavors far too soon..such as dulche de leche..a favorite... and put in crap. read more

UPDATE: I decided to update my original review. I originally complained that I didn't like the fact the toppings were behind the counter where an employee would add them. I gave this place a shot again today and there was a small kid in front of me that kept dipping her fingers into her cup and then sucking her fingers off, about four times total. It grossed me the heck out, but I avoided the handles she touched and was at that point SO thankful that she was not touching the whole toppings bar, handles and possible toppings. Her little brother started coughing while at the toppings bar telling the employee his preferences, and again I was SO thankful that the toppings were enclosed by plexiglass and not in the open for his germs to fly on as he did. Bottom line, I realized that this setup (though seemingly 'less fun') is WAY more hygienic and actually made me feel a little queasy thinking about all the other times I went to open bar froyo places and touched/ate all the little kid grimy licked finger handles and coughs. This actually will become my new place of preference for this reason! The staff was also very pleasant this time and they listened very well to my picky preferences...I've changed my review from 2 to 5 stars for how clean and hygienic this place always is! read more

First time here and the yogurt itself was really good. I got tart with fruit and the fruit was extremely fresh. The issue was the kids working were not friendly at all. I didn't even get a hello or goodbye from the young man at the register. I also think it's kinda gross that you hand your cup to them to put toppings in without ever seeing a glove change i can't imagine how contaminated those serving spoons are. Green glass mosaic tile rules the decor. Free sample cups are offered. Portions are dictated by the guests, with plentiful add on toppings of fresh fruits, cereals, cookie crumbles, nuts, syrups, and more to customize your dish. The end result of your creation gets weighed and charged accordingly. What I like best is that their flavors taste like the names, with enough tartness to be interesting, but not overwhelming like some places. The flavor selections change frequently. Yummy flavors, clean store, free water, and convenient location next to lots of food choices. Love coming here for a sweet treat. Downsides to this location are that they frequently run out of one of my two my favorite toppings - chopped almonds or peanuts and their magic shell chocolate. Plus as compared to how magic shell is actually supposed to be thick, theirs is always runny, like they water it down to stretch it. I thought they were my favorite yogurt chain but Menchies beats them slightly with some awesome flavors and fresher, better stocked toppings. read more

got food poisoning immediately after eating my yogurt. my boyfriend and i shared a half chocolate, half coconut cup with berries and chocolate carmel cups on top. i don't know if it was the lack of the gloves from the chick working and the fact she was immediately touching money after. going back and forth between money and handling food with no gloves. def need to rediscover food safety protocols. spent an hour throwing up about ten minutes after finishing. very disappointed. went to call to tell them about it. line was off. this experience has kept me away and got me going to tutti fruiti. read more

True Socal yogurt spot. They're always changing their flavors and have a great assortment. There's something for everyone. They even have multiple sorbets in case yogurt isn't your jam. They also have a million toppings. The fruit is good and not totally mush. They have sauces and and nuts and everything. They also are great about giving plenty of sample cups. Also they're on Doordash and Uber Eats which is the best! read more

I showed up almost half an hour before closing and the single worker had already closed up the topping bar entirely, and he informed me I could no longer get toppings, even though all he had done was put upside down containers over the toppings. As he told me this, he was filling two containers full of what appeared to be yogurt for himself, and put them on top of the topping bar, obviously waiting for me to leave so he could put toppings on his own yogurt. Opens at 11 but not ready for business. $14 and change for 3 partially filled cups of liquidy yogurt. Two of the ones I tried were like water and had to be spilled out. Water dispenser empty... remove the cups so people don't keep taking them. What a waste! I've been coming here for years and this location has gone way downhill. We had a good time here- location near the movie theater and ample outdoor seating are a huge plus. The staff was friendly and made good recommendations and provided free samples. The two major downsides were- the rather messy and somewhat under stocked toppings bar and many flavors of yogurt missing from the machines. It was 5:30 pm on a weekend and they did not have any of the featured flavors- really!! But overall a decent experience and will poke my head in again when we are in the area again. read more

Terrible. Most flavors are out while the guy behind the cash register sits and scratches himself. When it's brought to his attention he says, "I'm not allowed to leave the register." Love taking the kids to Yogurtland. They have a great selection of flavors and toppings. The prices are fair and never too long of a wait. It is located in a huge plaza that has many stores including a movie theater and TGIFridays so depending on the time of day, it might be a beast to find nearby parking. read more

Staff incredibly rude. Went last night. There were 3 young women behind the counter. First one walking in gave a cup and glove.. she was nice. (Hence the 2 stars) After we got our yogurt and it was time for toppings, there was a young woman, didn't catch her name but had thick winged black eyeliner, slightly tall/bigger than the other gals, had the worst attitude as she was putting on toppings. I felt like I couldn't even ask for a third topping cause she would get even more irritated. She walked away and helped my bf with his, same "lovely attitude" of acting like she was annoyed at work. So I asked another girl if she could put one more thing.... Man! You would've thought I asked her for money or something! The winged eyeliner gal rung us up, didn't say anything. Just read the total, we paid and she walked away. No thank you. No have a good night. Nothing! We usually go to another frozen yogurt place in Simi but since we ate dinner close by here, figured we would try it out. NEVER AGAIN.
