While I don't have the biggest sweet tooth, when I am in the random mood for a sweet treat, this is a spot I crave! Bacio di Latte is incredible and I'm so happy we have one here in the 805. I've been here a few times and am long overdue to leave them a review. Everything about the spot is exceptional, from the cleanliness of the shop, to the stellar customer service and of course this is some of the best gelato I've had in the area. Kudos to Gabby, who helped me out today - she was absolutely lovely and attentive. But overall the staff have always been great here and aim to please. They are also very mindful to ask about allergies before you sample their gelato, which I'm sure a lot of people appreciate. As I mention above, the shop is super clean and cute. If you've been to Europe, it's totally giving that classic gelato café in Italy vibe. It's cozy and I like to dine in to enjoy my sweet treat. Very attractive store serving rich and creamy gelato. They allow a person to try as many flavors as one wants. I tried and ended up ordering the salted caramel (really good), s'mores with biscotti cookies (amaaaaaaazing), and strawberry cheesecake, which was also really good. The s'mores, though, was next level delicious. The marshmallow was soft and fresh, the chocolate layer had a soft crunch but immediately melted in my mouth, and the biscotti cookies offered a wonderful change of pace to the traditional graham cracker flavor. Absolutely delicious. As for the salted caramel, it had the perfect balance of salty and sweet, and it did NOT have any bitter aftertaste (as I find many of them do). The strawberry cheesecake had big chunks of strawberry, and it tasted just like cheesecake. The portions were really large, and in fact, I couldn't finish it. I can't wait to return, so I can try new flavors. Thing is, if I know myself, I'll probably just get the same flavors I had this time cuz I'm such a creature of habit... that, and the fact that those flavors were sooooo yummy. read more

I had one from a different store the day before that was amazing so this one was just a bit below that one but it was still very tasty. The staff were amazing and helpful. They are in a shopping plaza so lots of parking but they do get full because of all the other shops so you might drive a bit to find a good spot. The ice cream here is soooooo good. We were in Moorpark and after having dinner wanted dessert. The creamery in Moorpark had no ice cream, only soft serve so we drove to Bacio. Service was great . For years I thought I'd never find good gelato in the US. My travels around Italy ruined me, they had proper gelato on every corner and I have yet to find any here. This place finally brought the taste of Italy to the US and perfected it. This is by far the best gelato I've ever had. Every flavor I tried better than the last. I finally had to narrow it down to 3, and still can't decide which is my favorite although I'm leaning toward the coffee and caramel. The maple cashew brittle was a close second. My son has a nut allergy, and when we asked for guidance on safe options, the associate helping us -- Molly -- was dismissive and short with us. Rather than walking us through the allergy protocols with any care, she seemed irritated to be asked and spoke to us like we were an inconvenience. For a family managing a real food allergy, that kind of response is more than unwelcoming -- it's concerning, because it made us doubt whether the staff take cross-contamination and allergy safety seriously. My hubby and I came back 1 week later and we were the only ones there for about 5 minutes (around 5:30pm). We got to try all the flavors uninterrupted and I found a few favorites. I didn't realize they had 2 different pistachio flavors. I found the mousse to be great, tiramisu, coffee, sweet cream and salted caramel to be my go to.
