Oh Thank Heaven for 7-Eleven! Now, who's ready to have their mind blown?? Get a Slurpee, make yourself a hot dog & grab a bag of chips... Cause you're gonna wanna hear this one out. There are more 7-Eleven locations worldwide than there are McDonalds, Starbucks and Taco Bell locations COMBINED!!!! Doesn't seem possible does it? Trust, I was just as shocked as you were when I did the math. 1) Burger Giant McDonalds has approximately 38,000 locations in over 100 Countries. Hence why they are the 'Big Mac'-Daddy of the burger industry. 2) Starbucks, maybe you've heard of it, Has approximately 35,000 locations overcharging, err I mean serving 84 Nations globally. (Jk I love Starbucks). 3) Taco Bell, where everyday can be Taco Tuesday if you choose, has approximately 7,800 locations in 26 countries on planet earth; I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Elon Musk brings one to Mars ;) The math: 38,000 + 35,000 + 7,800 = 80,800 Meanwhile, 7 Eleven has a whopping 83,000+ locations in 19 countries globally making it the retailer with the most locations in the entire world. So yeah, it's pretty easy to say the 7 Eleven is the King of Convenience. From chips, candy, cookies & coffee to beef jerky, beer, bananas, and batteries, 7 Eleven Is your go-to for the basics! They've got toilet paper, sundries, car chargers, bread, milk, eggs... Freshly prepared donuts, pizza, hotdogs, chicken wings, empanadas... Soda, water, wine, energy drinks... And of course their infamous Big Gulps & Slurpies!!! 7 Eleven is a one-stop-shop for what you need, when you need it. In my encounters to various 7 Elevens over the years, I have always found the staff behind the counter to be nice, friendly, easy going people. This store is on the "lucky retailers" list of the CA Lottery- thats why we went in there to purchase our tickets on 08/29 evening. The evening staff (around 6:30/7:00pm) could not speak or understand english. I had two full Powerball tickets filled out - and had the guy run my form through the machine, paid my $10, and got my ticket. I got called away to help someone with their form, so wasn't able to pay for my 2nd form at same time. When I came back to submit the 2nd form, I asked the guy- I'm confused now as to which form is which, can you run the ticket and tell if its a duplicate? He just grabbed my form ran it through the machine, took my $10, and gave me the ticket. Sure enough, it was a duplicate. So, I asked for my money back- and to run my 2nd form and give me my non-duplicate ticket. He COULD not understand at all what I was saying. A second person came over- they talked in hindi or indian language, and then he took my ticket and gave me my $10 back. After some thought on the matter, I DONT KNOW what happened to the ticket. He has the numbers I chose for the billion dollar powerball drawing tonight, 08/30/2025. When I win- if he presents himself as a co-winner, I will contest the validity of the ticket he presents. I always appreciate good customer service and this 7-11 went above and beyond. I was greeted when I came in, thanked when my purchase was complete and watched a clerk help an elderly lady out to her car. My new go-to place for a Diet Coke or Slirpee. read more

I warn everyone to go somewhere else, you will get treated like shit from other customers in here and they will do nothing about it. Makes this place u safe and a possible lawsuit when something happens. They need to have customers stop blocking aisles and doors but they won't because they are chicken shit to do anything, and the biggest offenders are the Management and employees who continue to block doors and aisles and bump into you and don't care ir say sorry, they also never have ketchup. I really like the service here. The store is kept very clean, no sticky counters or messy floors, product is always stocked and the staff is friendly. This is the closest 7/11 to my new apartment and I'm happy about that. The only thing I don't care for is the parking lot, it's very small therefore people are always struggling to fit into parking spaces and have a difficult time getting in/out. Worse customer service ever. The Indian guys who work there always ask me if i'm Indian. When I tell them I am German they say, Oh, you look Indian, no? Then I say no. I am getting really tired of getting asked if I'm Indian by 711 employees! I know I'm not the only one!!! read more

This is the best 7 Eleven I have ever been to. It is always very clean and well kept especially for a convenience store. The employees are very nice and friendly. Although the place can get pretty packed, the wait isn't very long at all, and there is ample parking. I haven't gotten anything besides beverages and pre-packaged food, but out of all the times I have come, nothing has ever seemed stale or old. Their Slurpies are great and perfect on a hot day. Plus their prices, especially with their app, can't be beat. If you're looking for a good convenience store, I'd say this is the best one in Thousand Oaks. :) read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I love 7-11 but the staff at this 7-11 are completely uneducated about the law concerning service dogs. I brought in my service dog and they asked me to leave my dog outside assuming my dog wasn't a service dog just because my dog isn't wearing a service dog vest. It's not a requirement for service dogs to have a vest. Then they yelled at my child for bringing the dog in which is completely unacceptable. Of course there is more to the story and they said much more with no knowledge of the law but that's besides the point. Customers always right huh? read more

Best 7-Eleven ever!! Employees always helpful and smile a lot. Love the icees that they have also their pizza is pretty decent. pretty cheap. come at least 2 times a week because its in the. most. convenient. place. ever. only reason its not 5 stars is because there are shady people hanging out on the side of the building so i recommend to always accompany a little one while around this location. other than that, its probably the best 7-eleven ever. read more

I've never experienced such bad customer service in my entire life. I will never return to this 7-Eleven ever again. I thought about even never shopping at 7-Eleven period ever again, but then remembered that it's not 7-Eleven's fault, but actually the manager/owner's fault. I went in on 6/3/14 at just after midnight that day. I bought a track phone plus minutes and a lighter. The man at the register was so incompetent. I asked to pay partial with a visa gift card and then the rest cash. He said ok, but then when I swiped my card, something went wrong and it declined. He told me it went thru and that I owed $7 extra. I gave him a $10 and he gave me $3 change. I left feeling a little confused because the whole transaction seemed a lot harder than it needed to be. However, when I got home and tried to add my minutes, it said that the card was not properly activated at the store. So I go back and explain this to him and he says he cannot help me without a receipt. He never gave me a receipt. So he told me to come in the next morning when the manager was there. That I did, and the manager was even less helpful than his employee. I explained what happened, and he printed the receipt. Well according to the receipt my card never went through, so I never paid for the minutes. I told him this was not my fault, and asked if there was anything we could do to make the situation correct. He continued to argue with me, was raising his voice, and acting like I was trying to rob him. He kept saying, "well I would be out $20 if I reactivate your card!".....really? $20 is a big enough amount to justify giving the poorest customer service I have ever experienced! I honestly was shocked! I will never return, and I'm warning you, if you ever encounter a problem at this 7-Eleven, do NOT expect it to get fixed. I just hope the owner/manager reads this and realizes that he will not have a successful business if he continues to treat his customers this way. read more
