I think Longevity is hip with a cool vibe that serves delicious organic low acidic coffee. The staff are always super friendly and give top notch service. Where I think Longevity is lacking though is in their food pricing which I don't feel it's justified, I totally get paying a premium for their coffee. I ordered some avocado toast and a side order of sourdough toast; they have the avocado toast priced just under $15 for only one piece of toast where almost anywhere else in the area is priced at $10. The one piece of sourdough toast with butter was a whopping $8+. It won't stop me going there I just won't order those food items again. I chose this place for a change of scenery from many of the other larger ... over-popularized cafés. Pulling up, I quickly noticed a nice, covered seating area, conveniently located right outside the entrance. Upon entry, I observed a fair number of patrons quietly relaxing and going about their business. After sharing a few quick glances from onlookers, I proceeded to the ordering area. The sweet young lady from behind the counter directed me to the menu. There was a nice selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as, a few bites to satisfy any minor hunger pangs. After hinting to my knowledgable hostess for any culinary crowd favourites, she instinctively pointed out the breakfast burrito. So, I selected the burrito, a tall, cool raspberry tea, and a double-shot of espresso. My coffee was ready first, quickly succeeded by my burrito and tea a few minutes later. The espresso was strong, yet possessed a smooth texture, while my tea was cool and refreshing, having a subtle berry hint of flavour that touched the back of the palate. I was hoping it could have been a tad stronger but, for having no caffeine, it was fine. My breakfast burrito was hearty, juicy, and well seasoned, as it was stuffed with scrambled egg, chopped spinach, cheese, and cubed potatoes snuggled in a nice green wrap. The accompanying side of salsa provided a sweet and tangy note to brighten this, already well-balanced, nosh. The seating area was clean, while the tables were all well kept. If you are looking to find a quiet place to read, work, of just chill with a great cup of joe, look no further. This place is great as it's nestled in a great location with plenty of parking. Enjoy! I needed help placing an order at kiosk and motioned for one of the girls behind counter. Was told she'd be right with me. Never bothered to help as I stood there for over 8 minutes . Store was not busy either. So, I walked out very disappointed. I can't imagine how a fairly new business t will survive when they have such horrible customer service. I'll never go back. What a name! A quick search for a local coffee shop and I stopped my search and #1, Longevity! Not only were reviews fantastic, but the name alone is catchy and sounds like they would have healthy options for what I was looking for. Perfectly located about 2 mins off the 101 Fwy, in a shared parking lot with plenty of parking and good signage, it was easy to find. Initially only planned on a beverage, but an extensive food menu caught my attention. Today I went with a matcha with almond milk, honey and cinnamon. Yum!!! Nice & light, perfect flavor balance. The oatmeal...some fancy kind with all the perfect fixings was delightful. Very satisfying and loved that it was thinner and not a heavy meal. Stopped here on the way to Santa Maria to use the restroom and get a snack. First thing I realized when I walked in was this place was healthy and everyone from the employees to the patrons looked like a fitness instructor for every and any type of fitness. I picked up their overnight oats at the counter and it came in a plastic bottle that looked like it was for pills? Anyway, I wasn't expecting much but when I ate it it was delicious! It had chia seeds and I believe coconut shreds and was so tasty. I wish they sold it in a larger container. Perfect on the road snack, satisfied my sweet tooth and was still very healthy. I went to use the restroom and basically walked into an art installation. It's the most interesting coffee house bathroom I've ever been in. Parking was easy to find in the morning and there's outdoor seating available. Adorable little shop just off of Thousand Oaks Blvd that is both intimate but also spacious and has a spot to relax that almost feels private. I can be very awkward but had to ask questions because their menu has some very unique drinks; and Ava was incredibly sweet and made me feel very welcomed. This place is right up my alley in that it is very health focused offering special drinks like the Chaga Mushroom Latte, a Collagen Latte, The Herb Bomb, and The Blue Elixir which is a magical coconut milk (I believe ) elixir that has Blue Spirulina, and Sea Moss!! The first three drinks can be turned into lattes if you'd like and the fourth can be turned into a Matcha if you'd like! But you can also get them on their own and add all these gorgeous feel good ingredients to them like elixir drops, collagen and more! My choice was the Blue Elixir with their house coconut whip cream (which is an added cost) and it is honestly phenomenal. It has this gorgeous softly sweet shredded coconut taste, and it's of course very very pretty. Love is all around us! I popped into one of my favorite local coffee shops this rainy morning for a hot matcha latte. I was greeted by a beautiful smile right when I walked in the door. The barista asked me if I'd like to try some cinnamon in my matcha - what a revelation! Of course I would! She carefully stirred cinnamon into my latte, sprinkled some extra on top and handed it to me with another beautiful smile. You just don't get that at Starbucks. On our drive to Los Olivos we stopped by to get coffee. I found this on Yelp. It's a spacious beautiful cafe serving lots of interesting drinks. We kept it simple cause we just stopped by to get coffee. I ordered a cold brew with easy milk and my husband got drip coffee with steamed milk. The coffee here tastes amazing, it's organic and has low acidity. My kind of coffee. Service was friendly and fast. I'll add this to my favorites for sure and try other drinks in the future. This is probably the BEST avocado toast I've ever had. I like to get it with feta cheese and it's sooo delicious! I usually get a caramel iced latte or the mocha iced latte but honestly every flavor coffee is great. The ambiance is perfect if you have any work to get one and I like how there's different games you can play as well. Overall everything about this place is wonderful! Cute spot with really good coffee and other menu items. I got the donuts and they were not good at all imo, they were super dry and hard. I also grabbed a few juices but those were just ok. I spent a little over $50 for an iced latte two juices and three donuts, a little on the pricey side especially the donuts weren't eaten. I also want point out that the girl working there made a comment that sounded really snobby she was talking to the guy that took my order. She said to him in a snarky way, as she was just about to hand me my drink, "when ordering an iced latte it's not breve you shouldn't say breve unless it's a hot drink it makes it easier when ordering," or something to that effect. This is good information to know and thank you for the breve lesson but she could've waited until I left or just corrected me in a nice manner instead of indirectly saying it in a moody kind of way. It was just unpleasant and after she said that I said hmmmmm and she asked if I was good? Don't serve customers with negative energy it sucks. read more
