Moonphase (inside Lumber & Linen) This spot is a little hidden inside Lumber & Linen, so it can be tricky to find at first, but worth it once you do. The store itself is super cute with home goods like candles, books, and bath products, and then there's the Moonphase café. I tried the Cloud Matcha (because I kept seeing it online) and a chocolate cinnamon babka pastry--both around $10 each. Definitely more of a treat, but worth it. I like that you can ask for the matcha less sweet to your taste. Staff are friendly and I've never had to wait too long for my drinks.

This place is amazing. Love how it is inspired by the moon and nature. When you walk in, lots of plants and outdoor and indoor seating that is Forest Sun and moon crystals magic themed. Appreciate the friendly staff who greeted us and explained the menu to us. Above all, love how their cloud matcha has a gluten free and diary free option. The coconut foam was incredibly foamy and tasty and their iced vanilla cloud matcha was on point refreshing and delicious. Their oat milk latte was yummy too. Adore the swing inside. Rustic feel. Thanks all for making this magical place happen. Hope there can be more both gluten free and vegan / diary free diary free options for food and pastries as well.

Pleeeease come back to Lumber & Linen!! I found this pop up at the Whizin Market last year and wow was it so delicious and also fit with the ambience perfectly. Also great service, sweet girls that were super receptive when I had asked for a few alterations. I came back one day and was told that the matcha station was only temporary- so bummed to see it goplease come back!! It was something I started to look forward to doing weekly as a treat for myself

A hidden gem! And yes it is actually located inside Lumber + Linen , it took us nearly 20 minutes to figure out where they were located but I was determined and for a good reason lol They are located next to all the main stores, to the side of the shopping mall ( not inside) . There is plenty of parking . A stunning and may I say a very zen coffee shop. With a very cozy sitting area filled with greenery. Make sure you have plenty of time because you are going to want to explore this spot while you sip on your coffee. Amazing customer service both for the coffee shop & the lumber + linen store. I got a vanilla bean iced coffee , a drip and an iced tea and they were all amazing . I usually prefer almond or soy for lattes but whole milk was the right move for this one Highly recommend this spot, especially if you love plants, good coffee and good vibes.

This is your sign to try the best matcha I've ever had! I got the strawberry matcha and it was the perfect balance. It was so delicious, I wish I got two because it was gone by the time I got to my car! The coffee shop is located in the cutest home decor store, Lumber and Linen, and you're immediately greeted by the kindest staff! The barista, Catie is so sweet and ensures your caffeine needs are exceeded!

I've tried their matcha and coffee, and I have to give them a 5 out of 5! The quality, flavor, presentation, service, and ambiance are all wonderful! Can't wait to go back!!!

Moonphaze is located inside of Lumber + Linen. I read the other reviews, so thankfully I wasn't searching for long. The storefront it is located in is super cute. There's a patio area with lots of plants and greenery. The decor definitely adds to the ambiance. I was able to sit and read for some time and enjoyed myself. Service was super friendly. I got the vanilla bean latte and it was sooo good. It was sweet enough and the vanilla really came through.

The brew was clean and light, with a simple flavor profile. It was served promptly and had a mild aroma. Overall, fine to enjoy but nothing exciting.

The shop is hard to find because outside it says lumber and linen, but on the inside there is a coffee shop. The service is great and the vibes are immaculate. There's a ton of plants and the decorating is great. I got their salted maple Matcha and it's definitely gotta be one of the smoothest matcha I've had, but I'm not tasting any salted maple. The same goes for my Partner's coffee, which was a lavender latte. It was a very smooth latte, but we weren't getting any notes of lavender. Which is why I'm giving it four stars and instead of five, if I could taste the salted maple or the lavender in each of our drinks. I would've given it five stars. The flavor notes are far too subtle. But again, really damn smooth Matcha, which I appreciate. Also, the pistachio croissant is solid

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in town! Every time I walk in, the vibe is cozy, welcoming, and smells like a warm hug in caffeine form. I've tried a few other things on the menu, & everything is solid, but I keep coming back for the banana crème magic. Staff is super friendly, music is always on point, & they have plenty of amazing plants & gifts aswell if you want to look around while your drink is being made! If I could give it a 10 star I would because it is that good.

Amazing Matcha's! We got a cloud foam with coconut milk and then a strawberry matcha! Must try!

Moonphaze was a little hard to find (it's inside of another store--just look for their sign) but the matcha was the best ever and clearly high quality it's so fun to look around at all the plants and cute decor while you wait for your drink!

The location makes it easy to grab coffee and breakfast without having to go far, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The pastries were surprisingly amazing and definitely a highlight. I also ordered a latte, which was smooth, creamy, and well made. The only downside is the pricing, as items are noticeably more expensive compared to most local coffee shops. That said, the quality and convenience make it a solid choice, particularly for hotel guests.

Pulling up, I quickly noticed a nice, covered seating area, conveniently located right outside the entrance. Upon entry, I observed a fair number of patrons quietly relaxing and going about their business. After sharing a few quick glances from onlookers, I proceeded to the ordering area. The sweet young lady from behind the counter directed me to the menu. There was a nice selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as, a few bites to satisfy any minor hunger pangs. After hinting to my knowledgable hostess for any culinary crowd favourites, she instinctively pointed out the breakfast burrito. So, I selected the burrito, a tall, cool raspberry tea, and a double-shot of espresso. My coffee was ready first, quickly succeeded by my burrito and tea a few minutes later. The espresso was strong, yet possessed a smooth texture, while my tea was cool and refreshing, having a subtle berry hint of flavour that touched the back of the palate. I was hoping it could have been a tad stronger but, for having no caffeine, it was fine. My breakfast burrito was hearty, juicy, and well seasoned, as it was stuffed with scrambled egg, chopped spinach, cheese, and cubed potatoes snuggled in a nice green wrap. The accompanying side of salsa provided a sweet and tangy note to brighten this, already well-balanced, nosh. The seating area was clean, while the tables were all well kept. If you are looking to find a quiet place to read, work, of just chill with a great cup of joe, look no further. This place is great as it's nestled in a great location with plenty of parking. Enjoy! Cheers !

Where I think Longevity is lacking though is in their food pricing which I don't feel it's justified, I totally get paying a premium for their coffee. I ordered some avocado toast and a side order of sourdough toast; they have the avocado toast priced just under $15 for only one piece of toast where almost anywhere else in the area is priced at $10. The one piece of sourdough toast with butter was a whopping $8+. It won't stop me going there I just won't order those food items again. It's real easy to get to , located in Westlake off Hampshire blvd off the 101 freeway., absolutely worth a visit. Would have been 5 stars if food wasn't so pricey.

I loved my latte, especially the sugar-free vanilla they make on the premises. It was excellent, and I really appreciated that thoughtful option. That said, I was extremely disappointed with the gluten-free raspberry lemon muffin I purchased. I rarely write negative reviews, but this is something that really needs to be addressed. There was so much paper stuck to the bottom of the muffin that I had to cut off approximately a third of it just to remove it. I requested a second muffin, and unfortunately, it also had a significant amount of paper remaining. Food is too expensive today for customers to have this experience. This is not only disappointing but also a potential safety concern. There was muffin everywhere from having to cut off the bottom, and I even had to wash my hands afterward -- a bit much when you're simply trying to enjoy a muffin and coffee on a Sunday. I share this with kindness because I really want to see JOI Cafe succeed. I hope this quality-control issue is corrected because I would love to come back and have a better food experience.
