I had the strawberry Matcha latte. It was really yummy and not with a bunch of fake crap powders but the real puréed strawberries. This current space is not where you will find her, you'll need to go up the road to 31425 Agoura Road. She's upstairs in a healthy restaurant--it's in a gym environment so it's fun to see all the athleticism on display. I'm impressed with anyone who has an idea and makes it happen. Clearly, she loves what she does so she's a pop-up for now in this new location until the other location construction is completed. Fortunately I read some reviews ahead of making my way to Moonphaze, which well informed me to find it inside Lumber + Linen. Otherwise from the outside one wouldn't have told there's a cafe inside as the giant sign was only featuring the shop's name and not the cafe. It was such gorgeous green scenery that gave me the Alice in Wonderland tea party vibe; regardless of the seat I picked, either indoor or outdoor patio at the back. I honestly could spend hours sitting there enjoying my read as it felt like I was just sitting amidst a garden or backyard surrounded by peaceful natural ambiance sipping my drink. Selling that distinctive vibe, as expected the drinks came with pretty steep price tags. I got their Cloud Matcha, their version of Matcha Latte with cream top that I customized to get their Salted Maple cream (typically served with different drink). It wasn't like my top matcha list, but decent enough and prolly elevated by the setting. More than the drink, I was prolly more hooked by the flavored cream top which was less common and even available in non-dairy option! read more

It was just okay to be honest. It looks better than it tasted. If you like the taste of cereal milk then this is for you but I'm not a fan of that taste in matcha! Maybe it was just too sweet and needed less sweetness? Definitely give it a try since everyone has difference tastes but it just wasn't for me. read more

Moonphase (inside Lumber & Linen) This spot is a little hidden inside Lumber & Linen, so it can be tricky to find at first, but worth it once you do. The store itself is super cute with home goods like candles, books, and bath products, and then there's the Moonphase café. I tried the Cloud Matcha (because I kept seeing it online) and a chocolate cinnamon babka pastry--both around $10 each. Definitely more of a treat, but worth it. I like that you can ask for the matcha less sweet to your taste. Staff are friendly and I've never had to wait too long for my drinks. read more

Pleeeease come back to Lumber & Linen!! I found this pop up at the Whizin Market last year and wow was it so delicious and also fit with the ambience perfectly. Also great service, sweet girls that were super receptive when I had asked for a few alterations. I came back one day and was told that the matcha station was only temporary- so bummed to see it goplease come back!! This place is amazing. Love how it is inspired by the moon and nature. When you walk in, lots of plants and outdoor and indoor seating that is Forest Sun and moon crystals magic themed. Appreciate the friendly staff who greeted us and explained the menu to us. Above all, love how their cloud matcha has a gluten free and diary free option. The coconut foam was incredibly foamy and tasty and their iced vanilla cloud matcha was on point refreshing and delicious. Their oat milk latte was yummy too. Adore the swing inside. Rustic feel. Thanks all for making this magical place happen. Hope there can be more both gluten free and vegan / diary free diary free options for food and pastries as well. read more

A hidden gem! And yes it is actually located inside Lumber + Linen , it took us nearly 20 minutes to figure out where they were located but I was determined and for a good reason lol They are located next to all the main stores, to the side of the shopping mall ( not inside) . There is plenty of parking . A stunning and may I say a very zen coffee shop. With a very cozy sitting area filled with greenery. Make sure you have plenty of time because you are going to want to explore this spot while you sip on your coffee. Amazing customer service both for the coffee shop & the lumber + linen store. I got a vanilla bean iced coffee , a drip and an iced tea and they were all amazing . There's a patio area with lots of plants and greenery. The decor definitely adds to the ambiance. I was able to sit and read for some time and enjoyed myself. Service was super friendly. The shop is hard to find because outside it says lumber and linen, but on the inside there is a coffee shop. The service is great and the vibes are immaculate. There's a ton of plants and the decorating is great. I got their salted maple Matcha and it's definitely gotta be one of the smoothest matcha I've had, but I'm not tasting any salted maple. The same goes for my Partner's coffee, which was a lavender latte. It was a very smooth latte, but we weren't getting any notes of lavender. Which is why I'm giving it four stars and instead of five, if I could taste the salted maple or the lavender in each of our drinks. I would've given it five stars. Located inside lumber in linen which is a super cute store! I've come in a couple times and noticed the products arnt consistent (the milk being used or the matcha powder) they have been good the few times I've come in however I do with it was more consistent so I knew exactly which one I was getting that day. What a cute place, adorned with a plethora of beautiful plants and an overall peaceful energy! I stopped by Moonphaze, located within the Lumber + Linen store. There was one barista who was working very hard to make drinks, but clearly needed another person to help her out given the volume of back to back orders. The wait was quite a while. I ordered a strawberry matcha which was absolutely delicious. With tax and tip I paid around $25 for two matchas which was a little steep, in my opinion. I don't think I'd be at this spot regularly, but I did enjoy my drink and calming garden like patio seating. read more

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in town! Every time I walk in, the vibe is cozy, welcoming, and smells like a warm hug in caffeine form. I've tried a few other things on the menu, & everything is solid, but I keep coming back for the banana crème magic. Staff is super friendly, music is always on point, & they have plenty of amazing plants & gifts aswell if you want to look around while your drink is being made! I really appreciate a coffee that's not too sweet, but just the right amount to where I can actually taste the coffee! they have really good coffee here and the ambience is so relaxing. it is inside of a business so it might be hard to find but it's worth a try! give them a call. Cutest hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in Agoura Hills! I was so excited when Moonphaze came to Lumber & Linen! The interior of the shop is stunning and full of light & and a great place to find unique plants and homeware! Catie and everyone who works there is so sweet and inviting & always eager to help! Catie literally makes the best matcha and has some of the most unique latte combinations & is always surprising me with her creations! She really pays attention to detail (cute heart straws, edible glitter, dried flowers?? I'm obsessed) and is consistently making me drinks that always have me coming back for more. They also do open mic nights, sound baths and other events every so often that are definitely worth checking out! it was a bit hard to find at first as the building itself doesn't say moonphaze, but if you see a place with a bunch of plants.. that's the one!! as soon as i walked in i instantly felt welcomed and at home. thanks to yelp i already knew what i wanted which was the matcha with cream top, and it was so good and made with so much love. the barista was so friendly and gave me a free water bottle! i loved how its inside outside all at the same time. perfect place to relax and be around plants all at the same time :) read more

Moonphaze is such a vibe -- it's a coffee bar tucked inside a gorgeous plant store in Agoura Hills, and the atmosphere is organic, calming, and full of charm. It really gives you that holistic, earthy feeling the moment you walk in. I ordered the cloud matcha, which was delicious and beautifully presented. The only thing I wish they'd do differently is mix the sweetener with the matcha before adding the cloud on top -- since it's so dense, it's really hard to stir and get a consistent flavor throughout. But taste-wise, it was on point. The customer service was truly fantastic. The girl working there was so sweet and helpful. She mentioned that a friend of hers does the baking and brings in fresh goods weekly. Unfortunately, I must've come at the tail end of the batch because the lemon muffin I tried was very dry and stale -- I genuinely almost choked on it. Overall, I'd go back for the drinks and the vibe alone. Just maybe skip the baked goods unless you know they're fresh that day. read more

I have tried dozens of Matcha places from Thousand Oaks to Woodland Hills, and this one ranks among the top. The quality and flavor is hard to beat. Moonphaze was amazing! I ordered the maple cinnamon latte with the salted vanilla cloud foam, and got a banana cream latte for my mom. The flavors that came together in the maple cinnamon were so delicious, and the banana one was not overly sweet cause the main sweetener is the chopped banana itself. The coffee had such a smooth quality to it, I couldn't help but to savor it as much as I could! The woman working that day was so friendly too. Moonphaze is hands down the best coffee spot in Ventura county. I have been coming here for matcha since they were at the Whizin market location and I will never stop supporting this place! Sweetest customer service and the quality is always excellent! Matcha is the color that matcha should be and tastes so good! Today I had the peppermint matcha and I can't stop thinking about the next time to order one, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The salad was pretty typical, nothing standout about it. But the pizza was actually pretty good. It has a very thin, cracker-like crust and decent flavors. After ordering at the counter, you take the buzzer and go grab a table in one of their many seating areas. I first stopped by the bar area to grab my sangria though. Even for a busy Easter Sunday, there was more than enough seating for all the people there. Take my advice and do a lap so you know where to sit before committing to a spot. We sat right up front where everyone else was. But after eating , I took my sangria and went on a stroll through the little vineyard and other seating areas there. You truly feel like you stepped into Disneyland or Italy when you are there. It's this beautiful little working vineyard in the middle of Westlake Village. Prices were a little steep for the food quality but the ambiance was totally worth it. They even had a live jazz trio playing which added to the vibe. There were tons of families having lunch there and I think that on a normal weekend this place is probably a great spot to come with a group of friends for a little day drinking and wine tasting.

Then why the fuck do you put it on your lunch menu and state that lunch begins at 11:00 a.m.? You cannot order any lunch items before 11:00. You cannot order any breakfast items after 11:00. I was there at 10:40 and they wouldn't even put it in or grant my request of simply starting a lunch order at 11:00 as long as I get the order in and pay so I don't have to wait in line again all over. Easy one (actually not even one just left) and done after the cashier seems to enjoy my suffering on Mother's Day with a group of people looking at me as I expressed my frustration that I could not order what I wanted when I wanted even if it was on time or not.
