The chai flavor was light but still present, allowing you to appreciate the spices. when I make it big I want to get a golden yacht and sink it in a lake and maybe I would want to get a fancy drink afterwards and luckily I would be able to do that here. The cafe is next to a lake/marina area and it's so nice to walk around! However, there's also ample seating and wifi so you can study/do work here as well, it's very much a relaxing vibe. The baristas are also very kind and patient as my sibling and I looked over their menu a long time debating what drink to get. We ended up getting a chai latte and rose matcha, and we both agreed that the rose matcha was one of the best rose matchas we've ever had!! Great location. Upon entering you encounter a fitness boutique store with plenty of running gear displayed. As you walk through the store towards the back, you will encounter the coffee shop. I purchased a strawberry latte to sip while enjoying the amazing views of the lake in the back. To my misfortune, that was the best part. Service was slow. After a long waiting period, my drink was completed. I asked for a large size and received a cup the size of a grande size which you would get at Starbucks. I found a place to sit and when I took my first sip, I became disappointed by how sweet it was. Came here based on the good reviews and because I just came out of the mountains and was looking to have an iced coffee. I ordered a nitro brew and was surprised it cost 7 dollars! I wish I returned it. The flavor was bitter sour! Not good. And for the cost it was really disappointing. All seats were taken so I took it to go and walked around. No bathroom in the shop. Shared bathrooms needing a code in the building, which is inconvenient. I couldn't get in and didn't want to go back to the shop to ask for the code. Overall, a bad experience. I brought my family to Bonibi in recommendation from my wonderful daughter ! I have three daughter that wanted to gather on 12/27/2025! The barista had a great attitude ! 6 cappuccin's and 4 latte's first round ! my son in law ordered a couple burritos and I ordered a couple more (chicken curry) Flavor was great but cold inside ... just short of frozen! I asked the cashier if we could have them warmed up ... Her answer was NO because we had taken a bite of them already. Even if I re-wrapped it ?? NO !! I just tipped them 25% for the baristas solid attitude, but the cashier doesn't know how to run a microwave ... so my / our food is cold as hell !! The owner happened to be talking with some other guests. I waited patiently until he was finished and explained m concern. He advised me " the cashier already told you we can't re-heat food once it has been opened" !! The health department will come down on me !! So go get some more burritos and we will heat those up (with attitude) !! Sir...(You're out of them) I explained !! Well sorry .... you want your money back? Cute cafe near Westlake Lake. Lots of parking! Great view of the water and boats from the yacht club next door. This seems to be a spot loved by many locals in the area. They have a big variety of flavors to choose from: Vanilla, Coconut, Pistachio, Lavender, etc. I got the Iced Ube Matcha Latte, which was surprisingly not too sweet! People from all walks of life gather here; I saw some older men with a dog, a dad with school-age kids, a group of women with babies, and a twenty-something couple on a date. You can grab a seat outside and leisurely drink your coffee while looking at the lake. The coffee is well made. I just moved to this area from Redondo Beach. One of the first goal was to find a local coffee place...because I was all about my favorite place back in Redondo. I had plenty of disappointments with a handful of so called coffee joints in the area I was beginning to lose hope. One day my brother in law found this amazing Bonibi Coffee, hidden inside a huge structure of offices, restaurants and shopping strip. I would have never found it driving around. By the way the view is spectacular anytime of day overlooking the Westlake Village lake. I remember my first drink was Lavender Latte and it quickly became my favorite for like a month. Until....I decided to try the Chai Tea Latte. I have been to many places with sub par chai lattes with an exception of my favorite from Redondo....but I swear Bonibi makes the BEST chai and you MUST try it. I also had a quick love affair with Chagaccino....but I love my Chai latte too much. Well it's kind of embarrassing as I often am a creature of habit....to the point where almost all of the baristas here remember my name and my drink of choice. I had reluctantly signed up with my cell number to get their points because I really hate spam. Well let's say I've been here so many times that I have received a couple of free drinks just from accumulated points. The prices here aren't cheap so I'd say it's a win. I'm currently on a diet but when I was fatter I LOVED their Hibiscus Cake...OMG heaven on earth. My second favorite is over in the fridge section the Mermaid Vegan Protein Bowl....Ahhh-Mazing. Bonibi coffee is only a small section because the larger area is dedicated to trendy clothing and accessories including hats, shoes, purses etc. I actually haven't bought anything else but I always loved to look at what they have going on. They have plenty of quaint seating available inside as well as larger seating right outside with the lakefront view (and free WIFI). There is always plenty of parking in the lot behind them. Bonibi? Got my curiosity intrigued cuz I've never heard such word so I looked it up. According to the Urban dictionary, bonibi means "Magical Place". A place or object is magical when it has a special mysterious quality that makes it seem wonderful and exciting. I didn't find this place magical nor mysterious but I consider it wonderful and exciting. Why? Imagine having coffee while enjoying the view of the lake especially when there's a regatta? There was a line when we came here around 10am but service was fast. There were inside and outside seats available. I had a Latte and Banana bread. The latte was as good as any other coffee shops but the banana bread tasted like a brownie to me. I didn't bother asking if there was a mistake cuz it's actually pretty good and I loved that they warmed it before serving. read more

Absolutely loved the look, the service, and items at the cafe! This was my first time here as I was looking for a place to quickly work for about 30 min and I had a great time. I love that it's a quiet, small cafe connected to a boutique with an amazing patio area where I can see so many yachts going around. I got a honey lavender latte which had a really nice, not overwhelming flavor to it. It was exactly what I needed on a hot day. I also got the spinach and artichoke pastry which had a wonderful buttery flake to it which worked well with the spinach and seeing artichoke flavor. It's not for everyone but it doesn't hurt to try! They also offer dog treats and water bowls so I can't wait to bring my fiance and our pup here next time! I want to try almost everything on the menu. I go here frequently just because it's in a really nice area of Westlake. There are a few surrounding restaurants nearby and you have the Westlake Lake right in front of you. One of the best spots in Westlake with a really great spot for coffee, what's not to like about that? Coffee is always a hit, the same goes for the pastries! I wouldn't make an effort to come out for the coffee or pastries. They don't really seem to have well versed baristas which is totally fine. Just wasn't sure why they thought making an iced caramel latte was more complicated than it sounds ...???? Their mocha was ok. Nothing special but it did the job. Staff is friendly but unfortunately missed hard on my order. It's a small coffee shop inside of a clothing store. I was excited to try this place because I saw so many people coming in and out of it but I sadly was disappointed in what I ordered. I ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk with some vanilla syrup. I wish I didn't add the syrup because it definitely overpowered the matcha. Also, the drink had a weird aftertaste that I didn't like. I usually can drink matcha drinks that I don't like a lot but for this one, I couldn't even finish it. I also bought two of their bowls. Their açaí bowls and the blue spirulina bowl. Both come with granola, coconut, fruit, etc on the top. I tried the açaí bowl and I 10/10 do not recommend it. Firstly, it is very overpriced for the small portion you get and secondly, I am not sure if I had a bad batch but it DID NOT taste good at all. It tasted very bland and the fruit was sour too. My mom did try the blue spirulina bowl since after the açaí bowl, I couldn't handle trying something else, but she did say that one tasted very good and she recommends it. Overall, I definitely would think about trying something new here but only if I am in the area. read more

Great coffee, pretty terrible service. Wouldn't use a real cup for my latte, saying they were closing in 30 min. Brooke's around our feet while we were drinking in our disposable cups. I returned another day at 2:39, pointing to the porcelain cups they obviously have for display purposes only. Still in paper. They don't even call out your name to tell you your drink is ready? If you're coming here for the views, they are beautiful. As far as everything else the coffee isn't great I usually get the classic Iced Vanilla Latte. Usually it's a good drink to test the quality of a product and it just isn't great the few times I've visited. I also got a breakfast sandwich which was too hot when I asked it to be warmed and for what it was it was WAY overpriced for the quality of food and size. If you are trying to save money and want a good quality go to Laidrey's they have better stuff for around the same price. read more

As I have been on a quest to find the very best chai latte, you can guess what I ordered....yup, large chai latte with oat milk. My friend ordered a large coffee latte with skim milk , extra hot. She said her coffee was good...my chai was lukewarm and a bit too sweet for my tastes. I prefer to taste the spices rather than the sweet, preferably on the hot side. We saw that Bonibi Coffee has an ube latte, so we had to come by and try it! First, the shop is a little hard to locate, but just look for suite (?) 104. You may have to walk a little, but we found Google Maps to be more accurate than Apple with finding the precise location. Next, the latte! We both got the same thing: a hot ube latte with oat milk (they have oat or almond available as alt. milk options for $1.00; noting because we couldn't find the additional costs for alt. milk and latte flavors on their menu or signage). The cost was $7.25 for each latte. We both enjoyed the lattes and finished them pretty quickly while walking along Westlake Lake (there's a walkway to the yacht club next door and past the various restaurants/businesses on the other side). We did realize later that the ube latte stains your lips a bit! It might not happen with an iced latte, particularly if you're using a straw, but it definitely happened with our hot lattes. I'd just say to be prepared lol This definitely seems more like a spot to grab a latte and wander, whether inside the store to check out their clothing/shoes or outside. There's some limited seating inside and some more seating available outside, but it doesn't seem like the type of coffee shop where you'd sit and get work done. They did have wifi available, though! Overall, while I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, this isn't a bad place to grab some coffee and walk around or sit by the lake. read more
