It was my first time trying this place today and I'm obsessed! I got the banana pudding latte with oat milk and it was absolutely delicious. You can adjust the sweetness level but I kept mine as is, perfect for a sweet coffee lover. It was so rich in flavor and the banana pudding was so creamy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is relaxed, not a huge seating area but it was work friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was also super busy around lunch time but they had it ready in no time, great service and coffee!
Friendly staff. Plenty of parking available. The tea, coffee, and other drinks were all great. The croffles (croissant and waffle mashup) were also really good. I need to go back to trylre drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer seating inside and also outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
I got the tiramisu biscoff latte and it was soooo good! They had one girl working so it took a little bit to get my drink but that's ok! I will be back and really want to try the banana pudding latte! You must try!

Took my son for some boba and service was amazing. My son has a peanut allergy and they were quick to reassure me that none of the products they had contained peanuts, which my son was so excited about. We choose the Tornado Pink Lychee with brown sugar boba. I was able to control how sweet I wanted the drink to be which was nice. It's nice and refreshing. Definitely the perfect summer drink. Overall, place was clean, service was great, and the drink was fantastic.
I love the sea salt cream drinks and loved that I could pick oolong, green or black tea. It was so good and the cup was cute. Very different than other places. I ordered my drink 75% sweet with light ice and thought it was perfect. I would come again.

I was tempted by quite a few things but but settled on the iced matcha earl grey latte. Love the inclusion of the earl grey and tiramisu flavors! Added some salt cream and pudding, which made for a decadent treat. Also ordered the brown sugar boba Croffle, a gorgeous waffled croissant in brown sugar syrup, topped with cream and plentiful fresh brown sugar boba. Tastes as good as it looks! Will be back to try their fruity tornado drinks and the rest of the matcha options.
This is the only boba place I go to! I love that I can get caffeine free options with milk alternatives and gave the ability to alter the sweetness levels! Drinks are always consistently made which is how it should be. Today was an exceptionally busy day and the gentleman working was juggling a large amount of orders solo. He was taking the orders and filling them. His energy remained cool and calm. He was so pleasant when assisting me. When I got home I realized my daughter's prized possession had been left behind. Upon calling the store I was greeted by Tori (sp? Torey, Tory) once again. He assured me he was not helping customers at the time of the call and he would be happy To take a lap around the store inside and out to see if he could find my daughter's toy. We didn't in fact recover it until we returned home to find it had never even left the house. I called him back to thank him for his willingness and he was just so happy for us. That is the type of customer service that defines "above and beyond".
I went after they opened, it was quiet and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the green Thai tea milk tea with boba. It's sweet but not as sweet as a regular Thai tea. Boba was nice and fresh too. Parking- big lot with plenty of parking spaces shared with other businesses
Super solid boba spot in the area. I liked that they had dif cups I'd never seen before LOL. The drinks were pretty good but it was nothing that was so insanely unique that you couldn't find at other spots
I'm now on a hunt to find a good boba place in town. Heard of this place as a coworker suggested to me. Came here on a Friday just before 6pm. There was 1 customer ahead of me. Menu has a good variety of drinks and snacks. Menu design looks appealing. Went ahead with a Coconut Cream Green Thai Tea and a Cookie 'n' Cream Croffle. The coconut cream striked a strong salty taste, yet short on the coconut flavor. Boba was excellent, was just soft enough and warm. Green Thai Tea was not "serving." The croffle was awesome. Took it for to-go. The croffle still held the crunchiness after a 15 minutes drive. The cream fell more on the sweet side. If only it was a little more salty, which could well-balance the sweetness from toppings. Employees were attentive. They provided frequent updates on my croffle. Would recommend this place
They don't have Jasmine tea and they gave the wrong straw... how do you drink boba with these straws??
Great drinks! Love the different drink options and the toppings are all good too. However, their drinks do run extremely sweet, so I'd recommend adjusting the sweetness.

Second time here and this time we got a croffle! They were out of a lot of things so we were only able to get the matcha/strawberry one. I wouldn't get it again but it was ok. The matcha powder was VERY strong and the croffle itself was a bit burnt. For almost $10 for one, I was expecting it to be a bit more tasty. A Tea Thing is definitely a more underrated boba place in town. There aren't too many boba stores nearby, so it's nice that this one is convenient and also in the shopping center with Target and In-n-Out. They have a good sized menu with a lot of basic go-to items and must haves. A Tea Thing ALSO has dairy alternatives and drinks without dairy and/ or caffeine. The workers are always super chill and pretty laidback, and the store is typically never too busy or packed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a student hang-out and/ or a good place to study after school.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their iced brown sugar latte with boba drink is one of my favorites, as well as the iced strawberry matcha with boba and they make them so well! Took the kids to It's a Tea Thing in Westlake Village for an afternoon treat. Between the banana pudding iced coffee, biscoff matcha and a boba milk tea, there's something for everyone here! We tried their Croffle, topped with whipped cream and your choice of toppings -- we went with strawberries & chocolate and cookies & cream. So good! read more

I really wish my experience at A Tea Thing had been better, but honestly, it was a letdown from start to finish. The service was terrible. The employee at the counter seemed completely annoyed to be doing her job - sighing, barely making eye contact, and treating both me and the customer before me like we were inconveniences rather than paying customers. It instantly made the whole place feel unwelcoming. I specifically went out of my way to come here instead of other tea shops because they advertised large-sized drinks on their website. Turns out, they don't even offer that size anymore! What a waste of my time. If you're going to change your menu, at least update your website - it's false advertising at this point. I ended up ordering something anyway since I was already there, but I definitely won't be back. Save yourself the disappointment and head somewhere else where they actually care about customer service and are honest about what they sell. Management needs to get it together - both with their rude staff and their misleading information online. read more

This place is a total tween magnet--and honestly, I get the hype. My kids and their crew are obsessed, and I can't lie, the taro milk tea and brown sugar milk tea are dangerously good. Like, "send-me-into-a-diabetic-coma-but-it-was-worth-it" good. I just steal a few sneaky sips when they're not looking. Parenting perks. The indoor seating? Meh. Not much to write home about. But the shaded patio chairs outside are where it's at--comfy, breezy, and far enough from the chaos inside to pretend you're still young and cool. If you've got tweens, bringing them here basically guarantees you temporary rockstar status. Just don't be surprised when they ask to come back... daily. read more
On your way back home I was craving a nice cold tea and of course I checked Yelp for tea shops around the area. After reading a couple of reviews I decided to stop and grab a tea here. I'm so glad I did, because I loved the tea I ordered was amazing! I would go get another one right now if it wasn't a little far from home. I ordered their Lychee-Lemon tea. I got a free add on for checking into Yelp, so I added lychee jelly and that made my drink even better!! Service was good. They take your order in the counter and you wait for your order to be ready, once it's ready they call your name and you grab your drink go. They have a couple tables if you want to stay and have your drink there. I'll be back to try the rest of their menu soon! read more

A tea thing is a very good boba place. The got the Strawberry banana tornado, and it is very good! The staff is very kind and nice and they make it very delicious! The vibe is cute and the building is clean and has feel good vibes. if you are looking for a nice neat boba place this is highly recommend! read more

Boba, where art thou??!! Having lived in Las Vegas where a boba cafe exists on almost every corner, I have noticed boba shops are a few and far between in this area. A Tea Thing is the closest to us (~4 miles away) and it has filled the void so far. We have visited twice and our initial reaction is that they offer a unique drink menu with a bright & airy dining area. The quality is there, but a bit too sweet for my liking. I'll have to make some adjustments in the future, but I will say I am used to being asked about the levels of sweetness/ice/toppings up front at other cafes. Also, pricing is a bit higher probably due to the location in Westlake Village, but the drink sizes seem a bit larger so that's a plus. We're tried these drinks so far: -Coconut Cream Green Thai Tea - good -Coconut Cream Viet Coffee - very sweet -Mangonada - blended slushy type For convenience, we'd probably return every time we visit Target. Service has been okay; Nothing special to elevate the ordering experience. Next time I'll try a hot drink with a Croffle and dine-in! read more

If you're slightly weirded out but oddly intrigued by the sound of a corn latte, put on your brave pants and run to A Tea Thing. It's so good. Coffee meets corn flake cereal milk and a crunch. Had heard some chatter about this place and happened to notice a location while driving. Had to stop by and have a try and it did not disappoint. Parking was easy in the shopping center. It was very clean and organized inside and the staff were friendly immediately when you walked in. I ordered the Thai Ice Tea... Amazing!! I wish I lived near by and not just passing through as this would be a routine stop for sure! I can't wait to return! read more

Was looking for a tea place and found this.. we're not from the area so it's nice to try new tea spots we don't know of. The gals working there are nice and friendly, the corn latte was good and interesting. The milk tea was slight sweet even though we asked for less sweet but it's all good! read more
We have visited A Tea Thing a few times as a special occasion right after schools get out. The line is usually out the door it is so popular! When you open the door the fresh, delicious smell of their croffle and the sweet of the fresh boba gets you! The are so many choices for boba drinks, traditional and slushy ones, different tea bases and many different types of boba. The price is a bit steeper than normal but you are in Westlake Village. The wait can get a little long after you order, so don't go thinking you will get in and out in 15 minutes. There is seating inside and around the side as it is a corner suite and most people get it to go so there is always somewhere to sit and relax. read more
I love the cups! The tea smell as soon as you walk in already tell me that they brew all the tea. Service is fast and got my order perfectly too. Got signature fresh milk tea - tried all the 3 different tea they have. All are equally good. Tropical Fruit Tea - also good. I like how it they use real fruit and put big chunks in the drink. Toppings: boba is perfectly chewy, crystal boba is my fave, grass jelly & egg pudding are standard. It's just a bit pricier than other boba place somewhere else, but I guess cos it's Westlake. There's not that many tea place in thousand oaks. For their milk tea it was possibly one of the most watered down drinks I've had. I gót the Black milk tea and there wasn't much tea flavor. The fruit drinks my friends got were actually pretty good. It's sweet and fruity basically tasted like juice. Considering there's not many places here it's not bad. read more
This place is great. First time here. My friend and I both got Boba drinks. Great menu selection. Plenty of seating inside. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Place was really clean. Has a single bathroom. Only downside is the shape of the drink containers. I really like them, but they are square shaped and don't fit in the car cup holders. You would have to get a to-go drink holder. Prices pretty fair and average. read more
