Think orange Julius with the option to add boba, that's what this place reminds me of. I'm actually a fan of orange Julius but can taste that it's just mediocre at best. That's exactly how I felt about this place. I was excited to see a boba place open in the mall again. I got the strawberry banana smoothie with boba while the Mrs got a cookies and cream shake. The shake was icee more than creamy and lacked in flavor, but was ok. The smoothie was frothy, but again ok overall with some chewy boba. Good boba, lots of good choices and the boba was soft and chewy. Not too sweet either as you get to choose how much sweetness you want. They have the traditional milk teas and clear tea choices. I had the mango passion fruit tea with boba and it was delicious and refreshing! The girls behind the counter were very friendly and efficient and although there was a long line earlier, they managed it pretty good. Service is usually quick when we go but can get slowish on busy mall days. It's located right next to the JCPenney across from the food court so fairly easy to get to which is a plus. The drinks here are legit. I had the honey boba to see if how it would fare in my sweet-tooth test, and it passed with flying colors. The boba is soft and very pleasant to eat. The ingredients were a good mix and sweet, too. I liked how their menu is large, but compartmented into easy sections to choose from and here is only one size to choose from. The service is standard and the only reason why this is not a 5 star, because of the wait time to order. The ambiance is what it is being inside a mall but nearby the food court and indoor kid play zone. Some tables and chairs in front would be nice since there is definitely space for it. We were hungry and in the area and left room for some boba and decided to check this place out after seeing it pop up on Yelp. The Oaks continues to go through an identity crisis and I was surprised to see this boba shop has apparently been around for a few months. We walked up to the counter and were greeted by a very nice person who whipped up our drinks. The menu has a lot of great options including milk teas, flavored teas, yogurt smoothies, and more. Pretty much have something for everyone. Right now they only have 1 size and the pricing is pretty reasonable. They place out a rainbow assortment of straws to choose from so you can match your drinks to your aesthetic. Teddy Boba is one of the only local boba shops that has my perfect order-- taro smoothie with egg pudding. YUM!! It was perfectly blended, not overwhelmingly sweet, and the pudding was so creamy. I love to try boba places and this is a fairly new boba place inside the mall. It is straight across right when you enter the mall through the food court. I had wished they had fresh milk options, but they only had options for non-dairy creamer and milk-alternatives. The milk alternatives (almond, oat, or soy) were an additional $0.75. You are able to adjust sweetness and ice levels here. There was only one size option. The jasmine milk tea with regular boba and pudding was pretty good. The tapioca was fresh and chewy. I hate having to write this because Teddy Boba is my favorite Boba spot. Went in today and got a Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea. When I got it I noticed the plastic seal looked a little different than usual, like more wrinkled if that makes sense. When I got to the car I literally could not for the life of me get the straw through. It was like it was double sealed. When I managed to get the straw through it exploded all over the car, my glasses, my sweatshirt it sucked. It was clearly overfilled, like to the brim. Went back to see if maybe I could get a new one because half of it was gone all over the car and it was dripping everywhere. The teenagers at the front didn't really care and gave us a different type of lid and that was it. To top it all off it didn't taste very good. It had an almost grainy texture? And thats after it had been pretty stirred up. I just tossed it. Super disappointed. The woman who runs the place is amazing and does such a great job. I just think the teens that work there need some more training. Probably won't be coming back for a while. read more
