The heirloom tomato one is my favorite, and adding pesto on top made it even better. I also really liked the protein whey cold foam on the matcha. It tasted just like whipped cream. I really appreciate that they create drinks tailored for different needs, including options that support women postpartum & pregnancy and with men's hormone health in mind. Hands down my favorite place in Thousand Oaks for matcha. I've tried most of the coffee shops around, and it's really hard to find one that truly uses high-quality ingredients. They use Nekohama matcha, which is actually ceremonial grade unlike many places that claim "ceremonial" but are really using lower-quality powder. They also have the most incredible colostrum cold foam matcha and strawberry matcha. But honestly, my favorite part of the shop is the people. Stopped into Jügo Wellness and tried two of their smoothies: the Daydream and Slim & Sassy. First thing I noticed: these drinks are thick. The Daydream especially was on another level I've not encountered before - you really had to put in some effort with the straw to get it going, and it stayed thick the whole time (didn't really melt down much). The Slim & Sassy was closer to a "regular smoothie" texture, just thicker, and that one did melt eventually so we were able to finish it more easily. Flavor-wise, both were actually really good! They ask up front "are you ok with everything in it?" which made me a little cautious, but nothing tasted strange or off. Everything blended well, tasted natural, and leaned more toward a "meal replacement" vibe. Definitely filling and rich, not a light fruity smoothie you sip in a few minutes. The interior is bright and clean, with a cute display of products like sage, candles, and room fragrances that tie in nicely with the health-centric, holistic vibe. Found Jugo wellness bar through a yelp event months ago and was happy to come back with a friend for breakfast. Wellness and health is the 2024 goal this year for me and having spots like Jugo sure make that goal feel a lot more accomplishable. I love the aesthetic and vibes of this place. When you walk inside it is super clean and pretty. Love a clean girl vibe and this place gives that while also being welcoming. The outside tables are a must as it is less nosey outside given all of the blenders going off inside but I did find the inside smoothie bar to be cute and comfortable for sitting. Really just depends how busy they are which seating area would be your preference. The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable on the menu and make you feel like a valued customer. I appreciate that they help you through the menu as they have a really great and huge menu that it takes a little bit to navigate the first few times. This is the perfect spot for an açaí bowl, a fresh pressed juice, toasts, and smoothies. Today I went with the Rosa smoothie which was jam packed with tasty fruits like strawberries, mango, pineapple, apple juice and agave. Also while I love their humongous açaí bowls today I went with their almond butter toast with fresh fruit. OMG yum! That bread was fresh, soft and crunchy at the same time loaded with fruit and honey, such a good value and totally filling on its own. The smoothies and juices rock here you can't go wrong. We were so excited to try this smoothie bar! We checked out the menu in front of the window and noticed several of the workers shooting annoyed looks our way. We had questions about the drinks but felt awkward asking based on their judgmental stares. Next to the menu was a sign advertising their app. My husband and I scanned and began downloading the app to get more information on the nutrition values of the smoothie. I downloaded the app and as my husband went to scan the same code, a male employee came up to the window and removed the sign while we were using it. It was super uncomfortable and embarrassing. Ordered the hulk açaí bowl and shared between two people. Portions are very large - they really stack up the bowl even for a regular size! You can tell they use healthy ingredients and it doesn't taste artificial which is a huge plus, but I felt the açaí base was bland and didn't have much flavor, and near the end the texture tasted a bit powdery. The vanilla taste was also a bit overpowering for me. The strawberries were really fresh which I loved, while the blueberries tasted extremely sour. I absolutely love this smoothie place. I've always had great service and the owner is very nice. However, today wasn't my typical experience. I ordered an avocado toast for pick up. When I arrived there were 4 customers inside the store. One of the employees seemed so overwhelmed. I saw she was making an avocado toast. She was putting the avocado on the bread and threw on the micro greens. Sealed the container and walked away. I waited for the employee to come by because no one had greeted and or acknowledged me. I asked the other employee if that was my order because it didn't say. She confirmed it was. I also told her my order was missing all the toppings. She kindly added the other stuff. I went to work and excited open my container. Take one bite and the toast was burnt. I looked at the bottom and it was black. There was no lemon on the avocado. Extremely disappointed because I'm pregnant and now I can barely bite the toast and it doesn't taste like before. All I could Taste was burnt toast. Not to mentioned there the peel of the avocado left in the toast. Didn't bother to cut it in half. 15 for a toast... Love this place!!! I've tried the " wake up call" smoothie with espresso ( sooo good) and just tried the " date smoothie " also very good! The only other drink I've tried is " the goddess". The staff and owner are always very kind & I think it's awesome that they offer 25% off for health care workers/ EMT/ officers.
