Conejo Coffee is an awesome brunch spot in Newberry California. We got it delivered so I can't speak too much from Service but I got to us on time. It was still warm and hot when I got to us so that's a plus. So I got the deluxe croissant breakfast sandwich comes with ham, turkey, egg, avocado, and I added bacon and tomato. Mine and the sandwich was absolutely delicious. It was so nice warm buttery. The croissant had the perfect texture to it and the ham turkey and bacon had so much flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would 100% order it again. So I got the hot chocolate and the hot chocolate was pretty OK. I got it with whole milk. This spot always delivers. A petite store but comfortable. Can be easy to miss. There is parking and entrances in the front and back. I eat vegetarian things but they have a lot of sandwiches with meat. There's also milk alternatives the pastries and the sandwiches are tasty. There's also coffee drinks are super good. This spot makes me so happy. You're always quickly greeted by the barista and there are so many options not just for coffee, but for breakfast and lunch as well. I usually order a drip coffee and there are always a few options ready to select from. I love that you can add your cream, sugar or cinnamon on your own - something not all local coffee spots allow. My go to for breakfast is the breakfast burrito, but second favorite is the egg bagel sandwich or the conejo bowl. Parking is limited, but I've never had a problem. This is also a great spot to work with plenty of seating inside and outside and music isn't too loud. read more

I've worked in this area for over 20 years and I have never stopped in until now!! And I'm so glad I did. My friend and I met for early morning coffee. Very small and quaint coffee shop, and there's seating towards the back and a few table out front. I ordered the horchata latte, and I had to refrain from drinking this entire latte in one gulp. It's has a nice balance of sweet, and cinnamon flavor. The iced matcha was excellent as well. Perfect matcha flavor mixed with oatmilk, added with the perfect sweetness! Conejo Coffee has my favorite coffee of all time. I am always greeted warmly when I walk in and the ladies behind the counter and very friendly and kind. Lattes have been my go-to lately and their mocha literally brings tears to my eyes and I tell everyone I know about how good it is! I have ordered it iced and hot but prefer it iced. Their coffee is so delicious, rich tasting, and comes through as sweet rather than that bitter taste that most coffee gives you. Prices are reasonable ($7.5 for my 16oz iced mocha). Also, sometimes coffee places tend to have weak or off-tasting decaf roasts but I order my drinks half-caf every time and it tastes just as good as the full caf version! I could talk forever about how delicious their coffee is and I am tempted to buy one every day! Stop supporting the large coffee corporation across the street, come to Conejo Coffee!! read more

Such a cute little hidden gem in Newbury Park/ Thousand Oaks!! The owner is the sweetest ever, he is always so friendly and welcoming! The aroma when you walk in is to die for, from the drinks to the lunch breakfast menu, everything is always pretty good. Only had a few of their pastries but they were great as well. me and my hubby are coffee fanatics and love that they have different imported beans from different countries, the coffees and lattes are always so potent, strong and delicious! They don't just have tasty coffee, they have tasty food as well! The Chorizo breakfast burrito is literally the best and so is the acai bowl. I've been to many coffee places that have good reviews, Conejo Coffee is head and shoulders above any other coffee shop in all of Ventura county. The owners are very nice people as well! I can only rate Conjeo Coffee for takeout as of now but I'm definitely eager to come back for a sit down coffee date soon as their lattes are phenomenal! I have driven by the spot a hungered times and I'm not sure why I've never ventured inside but upon seeing their menu online on a whim, I was excited for a latte and breakfast burrito on a lazy morning. Delivery was perfect as my order arrived correctly and I appreciated that everything was wrapped perfectly. My burrito was double sealed with foil to keep it warm on transport and the latte had the safety seal to keep someone from being able to drink out of the top which was much appreciated. Clear care and love goes into their packaging which makes it a great cafe for to go orders. The reason for the five stars was this was simply one of the best matcha rose iced lattes I may have ever had. Not only was the presentation gorgeous and Instagram worthy (see picture attached) the flavors were delicious. The matcha was well crafted and i appreciated that the rose flavoring wasn't overpowering but definitely was there in the flavor and taste. I have been craving this iced latte since I ordered it and I'm eager to get back here soon for another one, the only lesson learned is get a large opposed to their regular size because it is that good! The breakfast burrito was also pretty tasty. Great portion on the fillings, it was a loaded burrito. I appreciate their wrapping skills as the burrito didn't fall apart and every bite allowed for each topping to be tasted. The burrito was on the spicy side for me, so I learned to get mild next time. This wasn't a negative, it's just a flavor preference for me as I liked it but got a little fiery to keep eating. I opted for the sausage breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. Cant wait to come back to this spot as they've got one of the best matchas this side of town and their breakfast menu is pretty extensive for a small cafe. read more

We went to get some grab and go breakfast and some coffee. We got the matcha latte, the chagaccino (which might be seasonal??) and 2 egg croissants. They let you customize the sandwiches to your liking with a number of protein options and additional toppings. We walked in instead of ordering ahead and both our food and drinks were ready very quickly. The staff were also very friendly! The food itself was good, but it wasn't anything super special--just a good breakfast sandwich that hits the spot. Value wise, I found that the sandwich was fairly big considering how much we paid. For the drinks, same thing. It was good enough that I had no complaints, but not anything so special that it stood out. The place itself isn't huge but had ample parking and seating. Great coffee! I've been a couple times since the new owners have taken over and they just keep getting better! So far I've tried a couple drinks and they're good!! I will preface by saying I'm very particular about my espresso in my drinks but these are good to satisfy my sweet tooth. Churro latte *not pictured*: OMG SO GOOD!!! It is on the sweeter side and the espresso was a little bitter but honestly that worked great as it balanced out the sweetened so I didn't mind. Concha Cold Foam *pictured below*: SO GOOD!! I have never tried cafe de olla and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it! The strawberry cold foam went great with the coffee and the complimentary concha was such a good pickup for this morning! I've been visiting conejo coffee since I was young but had been out off by the past service when the old owners were there. These last couple times have been great and super friendly! Overall I give it 3 stars because nowhere online or on their menu does it state that the toast has goat cheese, and lots of it!
