Just dropped in. I was craving a lemonade icee from Taco Bell across the street, I stopped in as an alternative bc I did not want the sugary/unhealthy taco bell icee. I saw their turbo drinks and asked the young man about it, I said I want something refreshing and cold, do your drinks have sugar? the cocky young man said it has no sugar and all our turbo drinks are refreshing. I was sceptic and asked a couple other questions just to be reassured the drink was healthy and refreshing. I proceeded to order the Hawaiian turbo drink, and my wife ordered the Berry smoothie, I noticed all he put in the drink was two powders and what looked like a syrup pump. It tasted like a watered down iced red bill. I asked how does it does not have sugar, he said it has 'something called stevia, a natural sweetener' He asked if I thought it was good i was like it's okay. Now here's the thing I spent the last 10 years, visiting any and all health food restaurants and juice bars I can tell the difference between truly fresh and healthy and fake healthy and one thing is I hate most sweetener alternatives, especially stevia and spirulina, had the young boy stepped out of his own ass and told me what was in this magical healthy turbo drinks I would have made adjustments or made requests, I needed more information of what was in my drink, not just some advertisement of vitamins! My wife took a few sips of her smoothie and had the same thought, it tasted like a lot of protein powders. Come to think about it, the fact there wasn't any fresh fruit at the bar should have been a red flag. I saw a lot herba life powders, which are not healthy and really gross. he did put some frozen berrys in the smoothie. When I tried my wife's smoothie it tasted like chalk with blended frozen berries. I tried salvaging the turbo drink by pouring most of it out and adding a Pelegrino. It didn't help. We threw out both drinks. In fact the drinks were not refreshing! If this place was really 'simply healthy' it would not use all those weird powders, to make matters worse a drop of my wife's smoothie landed on her dressed and stained it immediately. read more

Christine I believe her name was, helped explain how ordering works & even was kind enough to give me a free aloe shot & a protein ball (which was so good!) I got a peanut butter chocolate smoothie, & it tasted so good without all the excess sugar a regular smoothie or even milkshake would have. It was a very good size, I mean it is a meal replacement which makes sense. The price was very reasonable & I think I will be coming back in the future to try more their many flavors! I love the Herbalife meal replacement shake shops and have visited many over the years. This one was my first though and the most unique thing about it is it's cereal themed flavors! When you come in you get a shot of mango aloe and your choice of a lemon, peach or raspberry tea to sip on which boosts your metabolism and gets your body ready to absorb the nutrients in the shake. My favorite is the lemon tea. They generally give free tea refills are well, careful though there is definitely caffeine in it and it will get you feeling like the energizer bunny. After you've had your first 2 steps you order your shake. If you can dream it they can make it, and most taste like a creamy milkshake getting you to question how it's even good for you. Herbalife is a soy protein isolate so it's not incredible for you but definitely better than other options out there, and most shake shops carry whey and vegan alternatives just tell the staff your dietary preferences. There are 3 sections of drink options/pricing. The Basics are the cheapest in price because of the lower amount of materials used to put in them, and so on. My favorite shakes are the cinnamon toast crunch, pb banana toffee, strawberry shortcake, and coffee mudslide. I've literally tried everything though and the only way you can go wrong is if you over complicate the process - simple is better and the staff are really good at helping you choose your flavors. While more on the pricey side for a meal I see it as my coffee for the day and a healthy meal replacement so the $7-10 is worth it for me. Definitely best for morning or early lunch time! Everything about this place is illegitimate​. Wouldn't you find it odd to walk into a smoothie shop and not see any fresh fruit? Or other smoothie ingredients for that matter? The only thing you'll see in the store are endless bottles of powder and some protein bars, both supplied by the notorious PYRAMID SCHEME Herbalife. When you walk in, you are assured that the products "have all the vitamins and nutrients your body needs." Not convinced? Luckily for you, you get a very vague and horribly misinformed explanation of apoptosis and cell regeneration. Do you really think your body is regenerating "healthy" cells when you're drinking a powder filled​ with artificial ingredients? Has anyone ever seen a cheesecake plant or an oreo tree? What about a birthday cake bush? Herbalife and Simply Healthy are preying on uneducated consumers who are buying into the "health food" hysteria. The woman working also told me that she put on 10 lbs of muscle this year from drinking these shakes. When I asked her if she works out, she said no. That's not how muscle growth works. If you are lifting weights 3-4 times a week consistently for a year, 10 lbs in a year is plausible​​ but very difficult. No one has ever gained 10 lbs doing nothing but drinking artificially​ flavored shakes. The product itself is no different than a lot of other flavored protein shakes on the market, but the wildly irresponsible spreading of false and misleading information is just disgusting and morally wrong. In short, this place is set up so that the two women working, who are part of the Herbalife pyramid scheme/multilevel marketing scheme, can dump their product on you. When you walk in, all you hear are buzzwords like "cell regeneration" and "digestion aid," when in reality, these are baseless claims that are being used as marketing tools to convince you that what you're buying is healthy. I got a peanutbutter smoothie and the wellness shot and tea to go with it. The flavor was good and the girl who helped me was nice. Only thing was that the yelp page showed some snack options like substance food. And there was only bars in there. Little misleading.
