I came to this Blenders in the Grass location a few weeks ago. I've been to a bunch of their other locations but this is the first time here in Camarillo. I usually got the Pina colada or the strawberry colada. The smoothies are really good here and there were no complaints this time around either. I ordered my drink and paid at the register, but usually I'll mobile online prior if I remember. This time I happened to be near the store and the line wasn't too long. After a short wait, my smoothie was ready to go. The store isn't huge but they are able to quickly able to get guests through here. There are a lot of eateries in the section of the plaza, so maybe it can be a bit tough to find parking when it's busy. Overall, there isn't much to complain about everything is exactly how I excited to be and it was a great experience. Blender's is always consistently yummy, but the prices seem to keep going up. I know that the standard for a smoothie in California is around $7-10, but my brain really struggles to justify that. I read another review that the owner of the other Camarillo location replied to that said that the big gap at the bottom of the cup (the rim of the cup extends much further than the actual bottom of the cup to give the illusion of a taller cup) was for insulation, but it's still not ideal. After living here for a few months now, I find ourselves coming to this location maybe twice a month. Usually they never get our order wrong and drinks taste great. Came in last Tuesday and it was busy. We ordered 2 large drinks but one of them, received a small. The girl just threw the drink back in the blender added a little more ingredients and blended it again. It just didn't taste right. Kind of disappointed like yes there is a line of orders but quality over time. On a hot summery day, coming from Orange County, blenders definitely satisfies. Coming from Jamba Juice, I never heard of this place before but after getting a drink, this is worthy if not BETTER I dare say that Jamba Juice! There's a secret menu online if you look for the main website and thus I always go for the peach and cream or tropical fuzz. After being stung by a bee in a soccer match earlier in the day, I decided to be funny and ordered bee pollen as a supplement to my drink of which you get one free supplement. The drinks are not exactly cheap coming at around $6 a cup, however, it's worth every drop as the cups are double cupped. As the icy fruit smoothie drops down my throat like a sweet healthy icicle at a water park, I am taken back to my adolescent summer days at the park/beach when life was much simpler, alas, I realized I just moved to Camarillo and this place will be my new favorite place! Also they sell a refillable cup for 5 bucks which you get 50 cents off every order... doing the math, it will take 10 trips to cover the cost of the cup and another 12 trips to get a free drink with the cup. Love having Blenders In the Grass close to my house! Always clean and inviting. I usually order a peanut butter shake with bananas, spinach and kale. I opt for the diary free soy option. This visit I did a turmeric, cayenne and carrot shot. Smoothie and shoot were good. I do wish there were other non-diary options. Good fair prices. Not organic but certainly fresh. I ordered 7 acai bowls - online so it would be ready to pick up when I get there. Today I got there, very hot. Everyone wants to cool down & the store was busy. My order are ready, again 7 ACAI BOWLS ... they have no plastic bag or paper bag to help with acai bowls. One of the beauties of Camarillo. A hidden gem. A prized treasure. Yes. Smoothies. It's incredibly fair priced compared to other smoothie places and it they have a good selection to choose from. I usually grab a smoothie after I workout especially since you can add protein to any smoothie. Highly recommended the açaí energy with whey protein. The apple juice masks the chalkiness of protein. Staff is usually really great and I haven't had any issues with my drink orders. I also ended up buying their metal straws and have been using them when I make smoothies at home. They also give 25 cents off when you bring your own mug! Not sure if that's available during COVID but I love the idea. Definitely stop by if you can. read more

I love Blenders! Tastes delicious, always thick instead of watery, and super customizable. You can make magically anything! I've gotten their 50/50, Tropical Guava, Blue Orange, Tropical Fuzz.... Probably anything on their tropical menu, and Pumpkin Chai (seasonal) I've enjoyed every smoothie. I personally like adding the coconut chunks to the smoothies for a bit of texture. When you order online for pickup it saves time but also lays out all the options there are for customizing. Definitely worth a trip if you want a smoothie! I think they are more healthy than Jamba Juice. JAmba has a lot more sherbets and ice creams in their menu where Blenders has a lot of yogurts in their menu. But I could be wrong! read more

From the beginning they had zero manners and no understanding of customer service. I didn't catch one of the girl's name but the other was named Melanie. I had to write this mid-chew ... I've never had an acai bowl that I like, usually they're too watery or just try to hard to be healthy and turn out to not be.. good. The Acai bowl here is just ... AMAZING!! The perfect amount of everything but I would suggest ordering a side of granola. The Apple Pie smoothie is one of the most accurate Willy Wonka concoctions I've tried. It tastes like an applie pie in a cup, in the best way possible. And what do you do with the extra granola you have leftover from your Acai Bowl? Well, I'll share my secret with the world if you got a smoothie on the side like I did. You can't do a sip of smoothie and then bite, it's not possible. You'll probably choke, don't do that.
