What a cute little place! I love how they decorated the store as well as the outside space, very garden like ambiance. I tried the vermicelli noodle with grilled pork and braised tofu. It was ok, the house special garlic peanut sauce made it taste much better. The Vietnamese cold brew coffee tasted like the much lighter version of the regular Vietnamese iced coffee. It was ok, I personally prefer the stronger taste of the regular version. Food came out a bit slow even though it wasn't busy. My sister and I wanted to try the fruit sandos (fruit, white bread, and whipped cream). The strawberry sando was good, but it can definitely give you a food coma from all the sugar and carbs. I initially came for the sandos which are filled with various different fruits and a lightly sweetened whipped cream on Japanese milk white bread , but after seeing the unique drink menu I decided to give one a try also and both of them did not disappoint! Super fluffy whipped cream not too sweet at all the bread was melt in your mouth , ripe delicious fruits! I used to love coming here :/ but I'm afraid this will be the last time. I was here about a week ago and described a drink that was posted in a review to the girl at the register. She was so excited to try to mimic it because it was not directly off the menu, but she did her best to create it the way that I described it. And it was great! Better than I expected! I came back again and requested the drink the same way. The lady at the register was very nice, but the person who appeared to be the manager said they are not going to make anything that is not exactly off the menu. I was describing the add-ons that I wanted and she said no because they are not going to make a new drink and referred me back to the ones on the menu. I got a matcha with cold foam, and when I told her that it tasted off, she remade it after telling me how expensive it is. The second one still tasted like there was something wrong with it. It seemed maybe the foam was old because it was very chunky or maybe it was the milk because something was definitely sour. After the attitude I was getting I said it came out fine even though it was not good. I hate to leave a negative review, but for a $9 drink to come out wrong twice and have it served with such attitude, I would rather spend my time and money elsewhere. read more

Came during the holidays so grabbed myself a Holiday Hot Chocolate, which was not only delicious but perfect for the rainy weather outside. And you know their food looked too delicious to pass up, so we got lunch here as well! Their buns were INCREDIBLE - the pork and egg were so delicious, and the bun so fluffy. Wow, love this place! I feel like I found a hidden gem. It's like a poke place got together with a Vietnamese place and this was born. I wanted to give this place a try because I saw that the spring rolls were just massive. I found out the reason why they are so large when I went into the store. It's because you can put whatever you want into the roll. It is really DIY. The rolls were delicious. I got the tofu, chicken, and beef. My only complaint would be there wasn't enough sauce given considering how large the rolls were however, the rolls were flavorful enough to eat by themselves. I think if I were to come again, I would try their noodle bowls. I also orders the roasted oolong tea with cream top. The tea was freshly brewed and delicious but the cream top... something was wrong with it as it was very thick. I would just order a milk tea next time and not a cream top tea. If you're looking to get your boba fix in Camarillo, Kraft Vermicelli is the way to go. It's a small shop nestled in Old Town and a great "late-night" spot (they close at 9pm but that's pretty late according to Camarillo standards haha). I love Kraft for their boba and their fruit sandos. During my last visit, I ordered the melon cream melon smoothie. I love honeydew so this order is on the rotation for me :) My husband ordered their guatcha (guava matcha -- one of their specials) and it was alright. The guava tasted good but the matcha was a little watered down. One thing about Kraft that I appreciate is that their drinks are not too sweet! I normally order a drink 50% sweet, but here, I get 75%, sometimes even 100%. My other favorite drinks on the menu are their house cream tea and their wintermelon green tea. The fruit sandos are delicious as well! They're nothing overly complex (just white bread, fresh fruit, and whipped cream), but they're the perfect little treat for a dessert or a pick-me-up snack after work. Their food is just okay. I do like the customization and convenience of their bowls and spring rolls, and their meat is seasoned well, but their sauces (especially their house garlic and nuoc mam) could use more flavor. I've eaten here before and the service is usually pretty good but today I thought I'd add the spring rolls this time, so when I placed my order, she said you have your choice of proteins in your three spring rolls so I chose shrimp grilled pork and chicken. Got my order and no shrimp. So I said well I told her I wanted shrimp and the lady behind the counter said oh there's an up charge for shrimp and besides, she would've read you your order back just to verify. Well, the person who served me did not verify my order and the lady behind the counter was just giving me this blank stare like that's what you ordered. Not would you like me to remake one for you and we'll charge you accordingly just basically take what you got and eat it I guess. First time. Placed an online order... Vermicelli noodle with half rice base. Proteins are chicken and shrimp. The proteins were lacking in taste/flavor. Slightly bland. The price is a bit high based on the portion. Could have more chicken and shrimp. We also asked for the fish sauce on the side. It was neither in the food nor on the side. Too bad. We also ordered three drinks. We ordered: - Brown sugar milk tea with 50% sugar, but it tasted super sweet as if it was 150%. - Seven wonders fruit tea. This was okay. - Vietnamese coffee was disappointing considering this is a Vietnamese establishment. I asked for light ice only to get 3 sips then I opened the cover and saw over 70% of the cup was shaved ice. This obviously diluted the coffee as I paid for bland shaved ice. As for the place itself, it is quite small in old town Camarillo. The pics on the Internet appear bigger than it actually is. It was dark inside, they had the lights off.
