100 times yes I love all their little lattes. The ice ones are so yummy and they did a pumpkin foam top on mine. I tried last time. I think it was the Horchata one was also very good. I've been there twice so far they have typical Mexican bakery bread, which all looked yummy. I tried one of their cheese and ham and jalapeño stuffed bread, which was so freaking delicious and filling. The staff is super sweet and kind they get pretty steady business from what I observed when I was there overall a great experience in good time and cute little quaint spot to just grab some breakfast or some sweet bread. They have a couple other items too.

    Congrats to one year!

'Cause you're a sky, 'cause you're a sky full of pan 'Cause you light up the path... Good pan dulce at a reasonable price. I was in the neighborhood (as your friendly neighborhood spiderman would say) early in the morning and looked up a place that opened before 6am. I was trying to figure out which pan dulce to get. They have coffee ready to go right next to the pan dulce. I went with the good ol' faithful concha. It hit the spot at the break of dawn. I ended up taking pan dulce for my wife and kids. In my wife's words the pan dulce was macizo which is a good thing. They have some seating right outside which is nice, not something you see at panaderias. They just had their 1 year anniversary and hope they have many more years to come. God bless

Shoutout to Yelpers Eri & Melissa who rave about this panaderia because it was everything that I was missing. The staff was friendly and there are many selections of conchas and other pastries to choose from. It was clean, bright, and inviting. For a long time I have been on the hunt for a good Cafe de Olla. Lucero did that and more! It was SPOT ON!! I highly recommend their Cafe de Olla and I cannot wait to come back again and again just for the drink. Thank you Panaderia Lucero!

Very tasty treats can be found in the latest Panaderia in Camarillo. I tried a few of them so far and haven't been disappointed yet. My favorite so far is the chocolate croissants. I also had a couple different Cafe Ollas, one with egg nog and the other one with horchata. Both are a little bit too sweet for me. I could see how most people would enjoy it though. The people here are super nice and helpful too. One of the best parts is they open at 530am so people like myself have a place to get some delicious breakfast. I look forward to trying many different things here in the future. I recommend giving them a try.

Stopped by while in town. Tons of parking which is always a plus. Small shop. Ordered a cafe de olla with horchata. Paid cash .. 4% discount if cash is used. Great customer service . I did not purchase pan but it looked legit. Now to the cafe de olla. I did not like it. The flavors to me were not there for a cafe de olla. I know many it love it and I suggest you try it for yourself. Why 5/5? Though I did not love the cafe de olla , their customer service is amazing. I felt so welcomed and seen. So many places lack this and that is what will make me return to try other things! Such a cute panadería! Love the logo and I can see it's def a local fave!

Shoutout to Jara and Jess B for their stellar reviews of this spot because as soon as I read their reviews I knew I had to get over here ASAP. Prior to opening I was slowly watching this place be built up and was eager to give them a try. Really impressed that they just recently opened and they appear to have already gotten their footing and are cranking out awesome pastries, desserts, and coffee. I love love love that this spot opens EARLY! For us early birds it's nice to have a local panaderia that's open before 7am in sleepy old Camarillo. I'm happy I have a new spot to grab an early morning coffee after the gym or on the way to the office. There is plenty of parking and the signage was clear making this spot easy to find even though it's not off one of the main larger roads. Staff here are super nice and welcoming. When I walked in I could see guys hard at work behind the wall prepping food and a nice gal came to the register and welcomed me in. She likely could tell it was my first time as I wasn't sure how to grab the pastries as I didn't see little bags lol. She told me to grab a tray, tongs to get some pastries, and then she would bag them up for me. Fun concept for sure and I've seen this done at some other places, it had just been a while. Grabbed myself a guava pastry, a corn muffin, and a slice of tres leches cake. Also grabbed a friend an apple strudel. Couldn't leave without one of my favorite hot drinks - cafe de olla. For a coffee and two bags filled with goodies it was under $20, you can't beat that! The cafe de olla was perfectly hot and flavorful. Love that rich flavor and notes of cinnamon. My guava pastry was also pretty darn good. The real winner was the tres leches cake. This one wasn't as milky as some places but still good flavor. What really sold me on their recipe were the notes of cinnamon in the whip cream topping. A really good slice of cake overall. Everything I tried was definitely 4.5-5 stars worthy. Very excited that we have a spot like this in Camarillo now. I'll definitely be a local and happy to support this new business. The bakery is clean, welcoming, and has a great assortment to choose from if you come early enough. Nice people work here and the food and drinks are quality, an easy 5 star establishment.

Puerquitos, blueberry muffin, nino envuelto rolls(Carmel and strawberry), tres leches cakes(regular and pumpkin).

What a nice experience. The Carmel nino envuelto and tres leches were super moist. They get high marks. Very explanatory and helpful. It was an easy and clean environment. I'm going to try a concha(a pan Dulce) and a cafe de oro coffee next time. Seemed very fresh and very pleasant. I recommend this little spot. Such an enjoyable experience. Get a couple things to see what you like. I did. I believe there is a small discount for cash. But, seemed affordable. Very quick and very tasty.

The place felt like a small business that the locals love! Wish I could have tried more things but the bread I got was pretty good. Would have gone great with their coffee.

Customer Service: super helpful, patient, and kind. In today's world this is becoming more rare, but much appreciated when it does take place. Makes the experience much more pleasant. Cleanliness: very clean Prices: super affordable for the quality and quantity you get Food: - torta de chicharrón prensado surpassed my expectations. The bread was bolillo, you do have a choice on whether you'd prefer bolillo or telera, I went for bolillo. The size of this torta was huge. - agua de pepino con chía was delicious and refreshing. Not too sweet, but not too bitter. I'm coming back next time for a torta de jamón o queso de puerco. Yuuuuum!

    SMORES CAFE DE OLLA

I had placed a door dash order and my car wouldn't start. They offered to make my coffee for free later since I couldn't pick it up! Love the customer service! The S'mores cafe de olla is the best ! You won't regret getting it!

My boyfriend brought me here on a beautiful Saturday morning (February 21, 2026 at 10:15 AM), and the weather was perfect -- which made the experience even better. The line was very short, and we were greeted right when we walked in. As we were admiring all the bakery items, it became our turn to order. The staff member at the counter was friendly and welcoming, and everything moved quickly and smoothly. The place itself is extremely clean, well-lit, and inviting. The display of desserts was impressive -- so many gorgeous options! They also offer custom cakes that we're already considering for our next celebration. The prices are very comparable to places like Whole Foods that are known for baked goods, but I genuinely feel the quality here is even better. Plus, you can walk in and out without dealing with big crowds or long waits. It feels good supporting local businesses -- especially as our community continues to grow and more people are looking for "mom and pop" spots instead of large chain stores. I've already sent videos of their dessert selection to family and friends, and I'm planning to place a cake order soon. I would absolutely recommend this bakery to anyone looking for quality pastries, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

I think street parking would be your best bet, however, you can drive up the side street near the residential areas if needed. Look for the 999 Pizza place. REVIEW: First timer to the location in Cam! To know me is to know that I am obsessed with their brown butter toffee cookies. I have been known to clear out the inventory at the Ventura (mall) location, #sorrynotsorry. They are THAT good. Trust me. So, this order was to go, but the inside seemed airy and open, loved the open vibe. There's a good amount of outside seating too, so if that's your preference, I would choose that option. (It's better than sitting outside at the Ventura Mall location, IMO). The employees were basic, that's OK. I don't expect much in 2026. No pics as the cookies were packed away in my bag asap. But, I'll be back! It was a fine-enough visit. Thanks!

I found this spot online and headed over and Im glad I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the owners, husband and wife team who immediately made me feel welcome. They were eager to walk me through the menu, offered great suggestions, and were incredibly patient while my brain was still waking up at 9am lol. Their kindness and humor made me feel right at home. This place also feels homey. If you take a moment to look around, you'll notice the personal touches such as the artwork, photos, and thoughtful details that tell a story of their family. Okay Now to get to the good stuff the drinks and bites are stellar, here's what I got: I finally found a seriously addicting chai here in the 805. I'm very picky about chai, so when Robin insisted "you're trying this" so I listened and I'm so glad I did haha. Freshly brewed, no artificial flavors, perfectly spiced. I think I would dub this one of the BEST chai's I've ever had. 10/10. Their classic breakfast bites hit the spot too. I had a breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and a fresh egg. Simple but good. I'd get this again but also would be open to trying some of their other bites. 8/10. The handmade bakery section here was unreal. The apple pastry I ordered was pure nostalgia and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their daily baked goods. The selection was huge and lots of different options to try. To me, that is what pound cake is supposed to be: simple, flavorful, comforting, and made with care. LEMON IN THE TITLE (NO SO MUCH IN THE CAKE) Unfortunately, the lemon pound cake I purchased today for over $15 did not come close to that standard. The color, flavor, and dense, bready interior all pointed to a missed opportunity. I was especially disappointed that the lemon flavor lacked brightness. There was no real sense of lemon zest in the cake or icing, which is what gives a lemon pound cake its character and lift. ICING - EPIC UNDERPERFORMANCE The icing also fell flat. Instead of tasting like a thoughtful glaze or cream cheese-style icing infused with lemon, it came across more like powdered sugar and water sitting on top of the cake. It checked the box visually, but it did not enliven the cake or the senses. NO FUTURE SALE HERE (UNLESS THE PRODUCT IMPROVES) For $15, I should have been excited to come back for another one and maybe pick one up for a friend. Sadly, that was not the case. I would love to see this store put more care into honoring the pound cake tradition with excellence, because pound cake lovers know the difference.
