Croissants
Crystal M.

Ever since moving back, I come at least every Monday. Their croissants are still delicious and the main reason I come at all. Today, I tried their tamales and was quite disappointed. I bought 2 of each chicken and pork w red sauce and it was very dry. The chunks of meat were drier. For $2.50 each, not sure if I was expecting more but unfortunately I'm not sure I'd try it again. Service: Sometimes there's a wait but only 2 people in front of you. So expect to wait anywhere from 5-10 mins. The cashier/baker doesn't wear gloves at all when handling with tongs to grab pastries and when one pays. They're also not much talkers, even after I've complimented them that they have the best croissants but hey ‍ Parking: Parking is plentiful Atmosphere: You can get other items aside from pastries and coffee but this is a buy and go bakery as there's no seating. Come in to order and pay then leave.

So undercooked it literally can't hold its shape.

Omg my favorite panaderia let me down. I ordered a few tamales for Christmas Eve since it was just two of us. We got raw uncooked tamales. I'm so bummed we are out of town and brought them to enjoy and well now we have no tamales.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, the pastries were fresh, super delicious, and completely affordable. We have a new go-to in Oxnard!

This cafe is sooo beautiful- I truly feel like I'm somewhere in Europe in a large open patisserie…read more It is typically super crowded her, so if you can find seating, count yourself lucky. I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently. At Camarillo, the server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went.

The food wasn't very good! I ordered the Spring Salad…read morepictured below Supposed to be...Spring greens, strawberries, blueberries, toasted pistachios with balsamic vinaigrette. Served with a warmed goat cheese crostini. No mention of melons it had a few slivers of strawberries. Overall taste not very good. Had my mom try it too she was unimpressed. She had the chicken salad. She said it was just chicken with mayo. The croissant was dry. The iced tea tasted like coffee unfortunately. The gentleman that delivered our food just plopped the plates down and walked away. No gluten free options only macaroons! First time at this location normally go to Camarillo and TO so I was expecting the same great food and service. There was a napkin on the ground directly under our table. The ledge by window was dirty! Just disappointing!

Wow... I've tried a LOT of coffee shops, but I did not expect this one to leave me speechless when…read moreit came to the coffee itself I had been recommended this place over and over again, so I finally decided to check it out--and the hype is definitely real. From the outside, it honestly looks like just a Mexican bakery, but it's so much more than that. As you walk in, the coffee shop is right at the entrance with a couple of tables, a beautiful mirror, and some side seating. I do wish the aesthetic was a bit more "picture-worthy," but it's still a nice space overall. When I went (Saturday morning), it was PACKED. To the right, you have the bakery section and omg... it smells amazing. They have all kinds of Mexican pan dulce and fresh cookies--so hard to choose! Now let's talk about the drinks We ordered their special, the Baby Milo, and WOW--I was obsessed. Not only was it delicious, but it was also beautifully presented. I also tried the strawberry matcha, and let me just say... I am NOT a matcha girl, but this drink completely changed my mind. It was creamy, smooth, and didn't have that strong grassy taste at all (which I loved). Of course, I had to get my usual: a sugar-free vanilla oat latte, and it did not disappoint. Super creamy, flavorful, and just perfect. From the bakery, I picked up their walnut powdered cookies, and you could immediately taste how fresh they were. They literally melted in your mouth. I was so sad they only came with five Overall, such a great experience. Amazing drinks, fresh pastries, and definitely worth the hype. I would 100% recommend this spot to anyone!
