I was headed to Fresno to visit my family and decided to stop by Yanira's for some pan dulce. It was my first time here. I was amazed at the variety of pan dulce items. You grab a food tray, a paper sheet and a pair of tongs then you go to the sliding door pastry display case to grab your items. Then you take your tray up to the cashier to pay for them. I got the pigs and a few other items. The pigs were delicious! I didn't get to try the other items. This is a nice location and is a dual shop where one side is the pan dulce and the other side is like a small general store for Mexican items like milk and cheese and you can also order food there. read more

If you're looking for food to go with traditional flavors, this is the spot. The bread is always fresh and warm in the mornings. I would get their mini Burritos for workdays, priced great for the size but still fills you up with 2-3 depending on your appetite. The menudo on the weekends is great but the price has gone up, for a to go place I feel it's a bit pricey. Will definitely be back for the Burritos and Tortas. read more

Went to grab breakfast with my significant other this morning. We got the the concha and polvorones every time we go. For the first time, I got the torta milanesa (as recommended by my significant other). He was right--it's one of THE best. Everything was cooked right to the perfection. I called to ask the what their hours are, 9pm. I arrived at 8:45 to get bread, personal has a terrible service. They weren't allowing us to get bread because they were cleaning the shelve glass doors, every time I was getting bread they continue to clean the glass where I was getting bread moving to the side lady move to the same side to clean, the 3 times I move to get bread she was moving to clean same side. I understand they need to clean for closing but they should wait till it's 9pm or change their closing hours if they want to leave early or just don't work there. read more

Like most ppl say their daily pastries are good. But if you want a custom cake. Go else where!!! What I wanted I described in thorough detail. Strawberry filling. Avenger colors. With a happy birthday & name. Simple right? WRONG!!! What I was told, bring your own cut up strawberries. Weird but ok. No problem. What I was received was a jiggly lop sided cake. With water on the bottom. And an all white cake with red piping. That looked a toddler did. Avenger colors? Nope. We specifically gave them what color border, what color the Happy Birthday. Specific instructions & thoroughly explained. We put it in the fridge for 3 hours thinking well maybe it will "thicken up" or dry up. We still had hope. Upon cutting up the first slice. IT FELL APART!!! I honestly do not know how a bakery can get what is a simple cake so wrong. My son took it like "well at least it has my strawberries in it" I mean honestly that was the only thing they did correctly. Oh my goodness! I love the pan dulce here. I'm mexican american and I know my sweet bread. This is creative bread, different sorts, in abundant amounts, really tasty, never stale. Parking can be tough. They follow covid rules and will have you wait outside for your orders. They sell sodas and milke as well as other beverages, hot coffee. My favorite thing though is the food. Their mini burritos are so good! Our favorite is the chile verde! Its super cheap at below $4 and it fills you up. Its a classic mexican burrito like you would find in a household here which is just refried beans and the meat with sauce. You can call your order in too before hand. Really good bakery and great torta Cubana's....but for breakfast they have morons cooking. I have gone for breakfast 4 times already and only the 1st time did they get my breakfast burrito right. I ask for a papa con chorizo burrito which when they made it the first time was absolutely delicious. The next 3 times I ordered the same thing and ended up with totally wrong orders . The 2nd time they gave me a papa and bean burrito; 3rd time they gave me egg, bacon and bean; and the 4th time was just beans and rice. My husband and I stumbled upon this gem of a bakery about two months ago. It's a small hole in the wall of a location. One would definitely miss it if they weren't paying attention. They're pan dulce is everything we remembered as kids. There are some breads our local panaderías do not make. So the experience is a little nostalgic. The tres leches cake is also delicious. It's not overly moist where it looks like it's melting and it's not super sweet. I can safely say it's perfect! The staff here is amazing!!! It's always a pleasure coming out here for pan dulce. It was my first time checking out this bakery. During rush hour it can get pretty hectic and crowded but the ladies are hard working multitaskers. Despite super busy, they're welcoming, helpful and kind. I was offered a free burrito and it was very delicious. More importantly, the bread is soft, sweet and delicious. Here I can buy plain bread with flavor. I found this place, by a buddy of mine that comes here religiously. Now I understand why. The other thing that stands out here besides bread is the Tortas.
