Ready for an upgraded 5 star review. With time this spot has continued to grow on me and now is a safe haven hangout spot for me when I'm craving some good coffee and on the hunt for vinyl. I continue to be impressed with their vinyl selection and prices here. I've found some good deals and records that I've been on the hunt for, for some time. Definitely a great selection and prices range but relatively affordable depending what you're looking for. The coffee shop continues to be awesome and after another lovely experience here I knew they were worthy of the coveted 5 stars. The coffee here is delicious and fun. My new favorite drink is their cherry bomb - I'm a sucker for a sweet drink and this one hits the mark. Cherry syrup and ice cream? I think yes! Melissa was helping me out behind the counter and she was absolutely love. A real gem and made me feel so welcome. All of the staff continue to be lovely here, they've got a solid team and more the reason to keep coming here. Glad to see they have a small pastry selection now, I had a yummy chocolate chip muffin and always am eyeing their pies. Thankful we have this rad spot in Camarillo.

I've gone back and forth about how to rate this place. I love the location of the store and i think the concept is great. It was a bit cramped but i understand they are working with what they have. There is a quaint little seating area for hanging out. Music and coffee? Great combo. The coffee itself was just okay. I got a vanilla oat latte and i probably wouldn't come back just for the coffee. This is one of my main reasons for my rating. The staff who took our order and made the coffee was so nice and the pastries looked amazing. Overall not my jam but i love the idea of the place and the amount of care put in to making it.

So I came back excited to try this place again. I decided to have a peach pie and was pretty disappointed. The peach pie was a mushy mess with a dark brown burnt mushy top, more like a bread puddling but the peach filling had a decent flavor, as if it had the potential to be a good pie had it been cooked properly with a crispy top. The display case only had 1 muffin and 1 cinnamon roll, they had a busy night so I got those, which both were good. My mocha was still tasty but I got a zebra cookie that turned out to be a stale $3.50 waste. Had this been my first experience here I probably would not have come back but given the positive experience I had last time I'll try it again. So if you come here on an off day, give it another shot. That's this critic's review.

I've been back a few times now. The staff are so nice! I've gone in with my big stroller and they were very sweet about it. The Honey Latte and Tiramisu Latte are my favorites.

Stopped by American Pie Records Coffee House and absolutely loved it. Had a great cup of coffee and an even better conversation with Mike, the owner. This place is definitely a vibe, warm, creative, and unique. It's truly a unicorn, not many spots serve up quality coffee, fresh pastries, and vinyl albums all in one place. Whether you're here for the caffeine, the music, or just the atmosphere, it's worth checking out. Looking forward to coming back!

~ VINTAGE VIBES TO GO WITH YOUR BREW ~ This spot is a fantastic new addition to our community! A couple doors down from its record store, American Pie Records, this coffee house is perfect for browsing vinyl, enjoying deliciously crafted coffee, and to just chill and be vibey. Definitely going to be a go-to spot for Fall sweater weather. When I stopped by, there was live music, so I ordered a pour-over coffee and a slice of pie, then settled in to enjoy the tunes. The pour-over was tasty, and I was stoked to find out they use Prospect beans! The slice of pie, supplied by Bread Basket, was a such a sweet treat, and they also offer ice cream to add on top. They have decaf coffee available if you want to hang out later in the day but are caffeine sensitive like I am. Inside, there are about three small tables, a bar top, and plenty of standing room. Outside, there are three more small tables. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming and even mentioned that you can even play your own records when live music isn't playing. I believe their hours are Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 8 PM, and on weekends, they open at 8 AM, which is great since many coffee shops in town have shorter hours. (This may or may not change since they've only been open a week).

This place is awesome. The vibes are great and very chill. The staff is welcoming and greets you as soon as you walk in. You could take a stroll and check out all of the vinyl they sell, they even sell concert tour posters that are pretty awesome. They have delicious coffee, beverages and I love how they name some of them after specific albums. We also bought too many pies when we are in there one apple and one peach and both of them were phenomenal. Definitely a fun chill place to check out for a sweet treat and a really good coffee. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

This is a super cute little shop in Old Town Camarillo. Lots of vinyl records to browse through which is fun. There's a few seating options inside and outside. In regards to the coffee, it was good but nothing extraordinary. I would come here again if I was already walking around in the area but I wouldn't drive here specifically just to grab a coffee.

We came for something different other than the easy franchise chain coffee fix and to our surprise there was live music while we were there !!! That being said it was quite cramped for the cafe itself but it's nice to see that the place can get lively. We ordered two cold lattes mine was a seasonal Day O and my sister the Blizzard of Oz and they came out quickly too and they were brought to us by whom what seem to be the coffee shop owner. Both drinks a great balanced flavor. A cute stop with a nice assortment of music from vinyls to CD's. Definitely coming back to try the other drinks on the menu :)

Wow what a gem!!! We stooped here while traveling and it was such a pleasant detour! The pies are DELICIOUS and the coffee section is simple but quality. They even let our family take over the back lounge, and the staff was so kind to my 5 year old son. Across the street there is a park, so a great place to get a pick me up and wiggles out before hitting the road. If you want a wholesome and restful stop, this is your place!!

First time here, I was in wow that we have such a cool spot locally, I went to support the dj that was providing live music, we found a very cool vintage Beatles tshirt, the milkshakes are delicious!!! They have coffee and ice cream and some pies, great selection of vinyl records and decor is such a vibe! Nice staff

What a great experience! Brought a visiting friend into the shop to browse the records while I had a fabulous cup of coffee. I ended up buying a shirt from one of my favorite bands and they had pie. Great vibe. Cool shop. Friendly staff. Will stop by again soon.

I've visited many antique stores with varying booths, but Antique Adventures is definitely one of the tidiest and cohesive to explore. Booths are clearly marked and associates walk the aisles should guest have any questions or need assistance. I did! I asked to please see a vintage MCM bar/stereo system that was hidden in a console. 'Of course!' was the quick answer. The piece made my heart happy, being a fan of MCM, but the owner/seller had it attached to a electric "fireplace," trimmed in "brick" that seemed more 80s. I asked if it was just resting atop for display purposes but, no, I was all one large piece. Bummer. I'm guessing the top console lost contact with its legs and this was an improvised fix. I have been interested in finding a record player and a bar cart to match our Mid Century furnishings, so this may have fulfilled both wants, but it was a pass. Very cool, though. Hubs found a treasure he had been seeking for a couple of years, a DVD of a "no longer broadcast-able" episode of "30 Rock". For a couple of bucks, he was a happy hunter. LOADS of cool jewelry and also some true estate sale finds. I'm always surprised when something I see jolts a memory from the recesses of my foggy brain. A couple of weeks ago it was a Raggedy Ann and Andy lunchbox priced at $30 - WITHOUT the thermos! Mind you, this was the era where we couldn't drop our thermos for fear of the interior glass shattering, resulting shards of glass slicing our throats with the first gulp. Hmmm....wonder if that was one of those "stories" meant to scare us into caring for our possessions??? Anywho, seeing that lunchbox awoke something and I shuddered to think why the thermos was missing. Today, of all things was an unusual wall hanging sculpture of a branch of flowers, painted gold and white that hung over the head of my yellow daisy canopy bed. Someone else had THAT hanging in their home?!? Weird to think and made me chuckle. Aside from the friendly folks and easy to navigate aisles, there are a handful of parking spaces in front, but PLENTY of parking in the back lot and along the street. We'll definitely keep Antique Adventures on our "to visit" list for each time we're in the Ventura area. Maybe I'll be a lucky treasure hunter like Hubs. Cheers! "CC"

People go to play different formats, and the owner sets the tone and is the barometer for the "weather" in general. Friendly, welcoming shops tend to build stronger smoother sailing communities. I didn't get that here. When I asked about local EDH events, I was told there's one Commander night. That's cool but I only play edh so I'm curious for other areas. When I asked about the broader EDH community, the owner was dismissive and overly corrective. It felt closed-off rather than supportive, especially when he made it clear he doesn't promote anything beyond his own store. That approach doesn't work for me. I prefer spaces with a more open-minded, generous vibe, not a "there can be only one" mentality. As an old-school player, I value basic respect and being part of a positive, inclusive nerd community. I'll look elsewhere.
