    Boba menu (currently unavailable)

Had planned to get ramen nearby but the big bright sign lured me here instead. Other than poke they also offer sushi and rolls. Fish seemed fresh and taste was on par with other poke places considering the ingredients were mostly the same. The large portion was smaller compared to other places because I was able to eat everything but didn't feel stuffed. I was also hoping to get one of the boba drinks but was told that she didn't have the machine, so not sure if it broke or what, but it was a little disappointing.

Generous with rice and veggie toppings. But i was charged extra for seaweed salad, but didn't get any. I also was supposed to have octopus in my order and they didnt give me any.

I absolutely love poke, so when I found out that this place was here in Camarillo I was excited to try it out. Today I came in with my boyfriend for dinner around 6 o'clock. The place was empty with only one girl working. First, my boyfriend asked about Boba, but the employee said that they didn't have any made. We then went to the counter to make our bowls. I noticed right away that the ingredients didn't look very high quality. I got a medium bowl with sushi rice and greens, tuna, double salmon, seaweed salad, edamame, corn, spicy mayo, eel sauce, and ponzu sauce. He got a medium bowl with sushi rice, tuna, salmon, octopus, some toppings, and some sauces as well. Each bowl was $14.95, which is about average in the area. The employee working there was very nice and helpful as well. We took the bowls home to eat them. They were just okay. The fish wasn't good quality, you could tell. My favorite things were the rice, the eel sauce, and the seaweed salad. My boyfriend didn't like his bowl and took some from mine that had some eel sauce on it to give it a little more flavor. A little while later, he said his stomach was upset and he wouldn't want to eat there again. My stomach didn't get upset, but unfortunately I would have to agree about not eating there again. I would rather not have poke then have mediocre poke. And I don't really want to mess with low quality raw fish. My journey to find a great poke place in the area continues.

My boyfriend and I come here pretty often and we love it! They have so many things you can order like sushi rolls, boba, and obviously poke bowls! We got one of their rolls and their boba, we loved their strawberry boba the most. Prices are a little high but it's not the only place that charges that much ($15+). There were a few instances where they've run out of white rice but there are other options available! Portions are decent, fresh fish, and delicious flavor!!

Love this place, they always put lots of sauce on the poke, and the lady who is always there is so sweet.

The drinks alone were worth it to us. The good: Lots of options. Shrimp pasta, mac 'n' cheese, biscuits 'n' gravy, ham, beef tenderloin, sushi, all the breakfast things, salad, fruit, chicken milanese, salmon. A lot of it was overcooked but it's a buffet so whatever. The meh: Put us on the patio in direct sunlight. Asked about a table inside and they said nothing was available. The restaurant was never full and for the entire hour and 14 minutes we were there, I saw two tables that were empty the whole time. There were cobwebs all over the railings and weeds growing out of the planter. The dessert options were terrible. Nobody wants crepes. The pastries were not fresh baked but the macarons and carrot cake were passable. It looked like maybe the owner took the day off because I went two years ago and it was significantly better. At this price point I probably won't go back for the holiday stuff but definitely will continue to go for the regular menu and happy hour.

They were very good at being playing special attention to my niece see picture. My sister-in-law, I both had the valentine dinner menu that started off with a Wagyu croquette and it was to die for it was just absolutely perfect. I don't know what the sauce was but I wish I could've licked the plate. The beet salad that I ordered wasn't my favorite, but it was still very good, but the greatest part of the entire meal was the lobster. I mean in my life I have never had a lobster that good. It was cooked perfectly. The size was abundant everything it was just mouthwatering really good. My SIL said hers was the same. I didn't have any room for the fillet, but I did taste it and it was very good, perfectly medium rare. I brought it home, but my husband got it before I did. Everyone at the table had wonderful food and a wonderful experience. The drinks were fabulous. The only thing, if I was being picky, was that they only offered one dessert and that was the red velvet cake. I should've taken it home to have later, but I'm really not fond of red velvet cake so I passed, my bad. It was probably delicious.

To start, I loved how this place was decorated and furnished; it had a very homey and cozy vibe. My…read morefavorite rolls would have to be the Y2K and Amazon rolls. The Y2K roll is simply a CA roll topped with salmon, eel sauce, and spicy mayo, which might seem super simple, but the quality of the fish, paired with the two sauces, makes an absolutely amazing flavor bomb. All of the workers here are extremely welcoming. Our server, Toshi, was very attentive, refilling all of our drinks with no hesitation or wait. Masa-san is also the hardest-working chef out there; huge props to him. The chefs here treat their to-go orders just as importantly as they do their dine-in orders. From Oxnard to Camarillo to Thousand Oaks, if you're a sushi lover, you have to give this restaurant a shot. You will not be disappointed!

A Disappointing Experience at Masa Sushi -- Especially for Guests With Food Allergies…read more We have visited Masa Sushi frequently because, when our orders are prepared correctly, the food is genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the service has become consistently disappointing, and after our most recent experience, I feel compelled to share a serious concern--particularly for anyone dining with food allergies. I have a serious gluten and dairy allergy, and every time I visit, I make a point of clearly communicating my allergies when ordering. Unfortunately, the server consistently seems unable or unwilling to acknowledge these concerns. He often simply stares at me without responding, and there appears to be a significant language barrier that makes communicating important dietary restrictions extremely difficult. His body language can also come across as visibly frustrated or irritated when I ask questions about my food. During my most recent visit, I ordered a Chirashi bowl and specifically requested no Kani (imitation crab) because Kani can contain wheat and therefore poses a serious risk for someone with a gluten allergy. I made this request specifically because previous Chirashi bowls at this restaurant have arrived with Kani despite my request to have it removed. When I explained that I could not have the Kani, the server told me, "There is none in it." I was confused because my previous Chirashi bowls had contained it. Unfortunately, when my food arrived, the Kani was there again. I immediately called the server over, pointed directly to the Kani, and told him, "I can't eat this." He took the plate back to the sushi bar. Instead of preparing a new dish or addressing the potential cross-contact issue, the Kani was simply removed from the existing dish, and the same plate was returned to me. I asked, "You didn't replace it with anything?" The server did not answer and quickly walked away. This was particularly concerning because when someone has a serious food allergy, simply removing the offending ingredient from a completed dish is not necessarily an adequate solution. The Kani had already been in contact with the other food on the plate. At a minimum, I would have expected the restaurant to take the allergy seriously, communicate with me about how the dish was being remade, and provide a safe replacement rather than simply picking the ingredient off and returning the same food. The service in general is also extremely slow and consistently feels disconnected. This doesn't seem to depend on how busy the restaurant is; even when there are only a few tables, the service often feels flustered, inattentive, and at times rude. It's unfortunate because the food itself really is good. We've returned many times because we genuinely enjoy it when everything is prepared correctly. However, delicious food isn't enough to justify repeatedly dealing with this level of service--especially when a customer's serious food allergy is involved. For anyone with a significant food allergy, I would strongly recommend exercising caution and making sure the restaurant can clearly understand and safely accommodate your dietary restrictions before ordering. In my case, after this experience, I no longer feel comfortable dining at Masa Sushi despite genuinely enjoying the food. Great food, but the service and handling of serious allergy concerns need significant improvement.

The interior dining area is large and open. As more folks came in, the noise level rose. Something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quiet place to eat. Why the two stars? Employees are disrespectful, rude, and need anger management training to name a few. My parents are very old. They are hard of hearing. Server came to drop off an order of clam chowder. She asked whose it was. My parents were slow to respond. She had little patience and set it down hard on the table where you hear the dish clattering. If it wasn't a thick soup it would've splattered on the table. Our food arrived and plate setting still haven't. So we sat there staring at our food with no utensils to eat it with. Server gave us the wrong check.
