It's Boba Time - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Camarillo, California

This is a nicely designed boba shop at the Camarillo Premium Outlets, with a modern interior and touchscreen ordering system. We arrived shortly after 10 a.m., but there was no one available to help us. After a few minutes, a gentleman working in the back told us it was his first day and that he couldn't assist us because his manager had not arrived yet. He said he was trying to contact him. We decided to wait because this location has generally good reviews. While waiting, I also noticed liquid dripping from two drainage pipes in the kitchen, although it wasn't clear what the liquid was. The manager arrived at 10:13. He did not acknowledge the delay or apologize. I also observed him handling our order without first washing his hands. My daughter ordered the House Milk Tea with half sugar and lychee jelly. The drink itself was quite good. Unfortunately, the poor opening and service experience outweighed the quality of the tea, so we are unlikely to return. read more

I said I wasn't going to come back here again but I was in the area and decided to give it another chance. Big regret. They put rotten milk in my drink. I had to throw it away. This time, I'm really not coming back. read more

Before we get into this review, I'm gonna waste a little bit of your TIME. But like all of my reviews, TIME Will Tell who the real Yelp readers are. So sit back, grab a snack, & let's Turn Back TIME. 12 11 1 10 I\ 2 9 I \ 3 8 \ 4 7 5 6 Bonus Points: who can tell what time my custom clock reads?? And If you get it right, Jack Dawson from Titanic and his famous line "Make It Count" will allow us to go back in time and Rose will actually move over and share the floating door with him so he lives! (Don't let Jack Die, again!) O.k. Who remembers calling 853-1212?? If you did, you might be old, but know that... I think you are a CERTIFIED BAD ASS!!!! If you are googling 853-1212 right now, sorry kid, but you missed out on the good ol' days. IYKYK To my fellow 80's kids.... Who remembers the response we would give if someone asked you, "what time is it?" Remember?? C'mon, think about it! The response: "It's time you get a watch". Haha, We got 'em every time, lol In the 90's, if someone asked "what time is it?" The person with the time would most likely look down at their wrist and see what their Casio G-Shock displayed and of course give you the time. Since the iPhone/Android arrived on scene, if anyone asked you the time, good chance they will look down at their phone, not their watch (if they actually have one) and will happily provide you with the time. Nowadays, the Apple Watch, The Samsung Galaxy or even that beat up FitBit are our official time keepers. But when you are at the Camarillo Outlets and you happen to walk by a Boba shop with your seven & five year old... No matter what the actual time is.... Now that they see it and look at you with those sad little puppy eyes saying "Daddy can we go, Please!!!" Suddenly.... It's Boba Time!!!! I mean come on! A fruit smoothie or tea with Tapioca Boba or popping Boba or even your favorite Jelly add on. And then there's the big Boba Straw that's perfect for slurping those Boba Balls as fast as you can into your mouth... Yeah, you know exactly what I'm talkin' about. For me, I'm all about the Tapioca Boba, but the Popping Strawberry & Mango are a very close second. Thai Iced Tea is our go-to, but this last time we also picked up the multi-colored Galaxy drink and it was excellent. Ordering is easy, they have a self-serve kiosk or you can pay at counter if you want to pay with cash. So.... The next time somebody asks you what time it is... Don't tell them it's time to get a watch! Haha Forget what your own watch says. And don't even bother tapping your iPhone screen so the homepage lights up. Just look straight in the eyes and tell them.... IT'S BOBA TIME!!!!!! read more

The customer service is lacking, we stood in there for a good 2 minutes and the workers were not busy, just standing and did not not ask if we needed help, Also, there they messed up my daughter's frappe tasted like it was watered down. read more

Located in the Camarillo outlets, this convenient location is great for sipping on some boba while you shop. Although it can get quite busy, their turnout time was pretty quick. Their menu is on the large side. So if you don't know what you want or are looking for before you go it can get pretty daunting. I ended up getting their Galaxy ice tea. It was delicious. The free boba and star jelly were the selling point though. 10/10 would recommend read more

I usually am not a huge fan of Its Boba Time but I had to give this place a 5/5 stars today. I ordered the cloud smoothie which is a part of the new Neopets collab!! Drinks come with a free Neopets sticker which is so cute!!! If you spend $25, they give you a Neopets pin! I played Neopets a lot as a kid and this brought back a lot of happy memories. 5/5 for this collab. The staff at the time was super chill too. Very nice people on this Friday afternoon with a quick turnaround time in making drinks. read more

Love it here. Always gets our drinks right. Maybe even better than the Oxnard location. Love that you can do a XL size for blended drinks! Service is fairly quick the times we go but I know it gets pretty busy on the weekends. Its just a little store front no seating. Imo the self order machine is useless. Theres always enough staff to cover cashier and take your order. Or just skip the line and mobile order the drinks. You can get rewards points for each purchase! read more

The BEST It's BobaTime in Ventura County! Food: Endless choices of drinks, ice creams, and shaved ice -- all customizable with flavors, toppings, and bobas. Perfect on a hot day or during a shopping trip at the Camarillo Outlets. Service: This is where It's BobaTime truly shines. While the staff is always welcoming and patient, the standout of our experience was the manager, Nate. We placed a huge and very detailed order for my son's 9th birthday party -- the kind of order that could easily overwhelm anyone. Nate handled it with absolute professionalism, patience, and care. He walked us through every detail, answered all of our questions, and went out of his way to make the process completely stress-free. His dedication didn't just meet expectations -- it exceeded them. Nate turned what could have been a complicated, stressful task into a smooth, enjoyable experience. Because of him, we left not just satisfied, but genuinely grateful. Ambiance: A clean, "order-and-go" style shop with soft background music. Convenient kiosks and cashiers available, and plenty of parking. Thanks to Nate, this wasn't just a transaction -- it was an experience. If you're looking for great drinks and truly outstanding customer service, this is the place. 10/10, highly recommend! read more

When we are in nearby Westfield Topanga mall we always stop by. They have a wide variety to pick from. There is something for everyone's taste. The staff is always busy and do their best as they might be the most not boba place in the mall. Since covid they limit the seating area. They could clean/sweep the floor more frequently. read more

Boba time is me and my bf's favorite go to place to get our boba fix in the 805. Every single time we crave boba, we always think of this place cause it's just so affordable, the taste is always on point, and there is such a big variety of drink choices! This location is conveniently located in a big shopping center and it's nice to grab something refreshing after a long day of shopping. There is always plenty of parking so no need to worry about trying to find a spot. I've been to boba time plenty of times at the Camarillo and Oxnard location and both of the store's drinks are very consistent no matter the drink you get. I always like to try different drinks when I come here, but my go to is either the peach strawberry fruit tea or jasmine milk tea. Their brown sugar milk tea and taro milk is really good too! Their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side so we always order the drinks with 50% or 75% sugar. Their customer service is always fast and efficient. Every time I go, everyone has been really nice and helpful. Boba time always hits the spot for us and we can't wait to come back again on our next boba craving! read more

This is located at the factory outlet (main) in Camarillo...right next to the outlet office or a few doors away from the Tommy Hilfiger store. There's a self order kiosk at the front. I like that I can ask for less sugar and my drink was good and the bobas are freshly made. This is mostly a take-out place - but service is fast. Located at the Camarillo Outlets in between Sunglass Hut & Tommy Hilfiger on the og side of outlets. I believe this used to be Godiva since that hasn't been here for a while... Arrived around 6:20pm on a Sunday & was able to order right away. Ordered as soon as my indecisive fam figured out what they wanted. Waited a few minutes & our drinks were ready. After we ordered & got our drinks, there was a swarm of people who came after we did & the line was out the door. Glad we came before the closing rush. People were still coming 5 mins till closing time... My brother didn't care for his drink, he got Taro. I thought his Taro tasted better than my drink. I don't even remember what I got honestly, maybe passion fruit, it was just so strong! Boba was actually good, chewy & soft... Good to know they have many forms of tea & drink options such as: Milk, Froth, Slush, Iced, Iced Fruit, Frappe, Smoothie, Shakes & even Shaved Ice. They even have extra Add On's for $0.75 more per scoop... So much to try... They were really friendly & patient! It really is a good spot for It's Boba Time. read more

Great menu with so many options. Great prices too. The only complaint is that parking is SO horrible at certain times, that it keeps me from going more often. They need to have a parking spot up front by the store that is for "mobile order pickup only"". I think it makes sense considering how busy they always are, I prefer to use their app for quick pick up. read more

Their service is really great I highly recomend the bobatime store in outlet the staff are very friendly specially the store owner

This place is always busy. I went at an odd time, so today was my first day trying the Collection's Boba Time. I was very impressed. The prices are a little high but the drink I got was really good. Drinks were ok, usual prices seen at most boba shops. Wish you could adjust the sweetness more all they have online is 100% and "less sweet." I like my drinks with very little sweetness and my hubby loves it extra sweet. Usually boba places have a few percentage ranges you can choose from, I always go between 20-30 and he does 120% or extra sweet. His was not sweet enough and mine was sickly sweet. The boba texture was decent. Since we ordered online I didn't spend much time in store or interacting with employees but I didn't notice anything horrible with the brief time I was in the store. Drinks were ready on time. I got the guava slush - make sure you read the description as it is actually strawberry, guava and lemon so the name just including guava is misleading. It was decent but if you want just guava this is not it. Luckily I had read it so I knew it wasn't going to be pure guava. Nothing to rave about and with lack of customization ranges plus other options to choose from we won't be back. For me it was a 3, for my hubby a 1, so we settled on average 2 for rating. read more

So happy to finally have a boba shop open up at the outlets! They have a large menu with a lot of different options including milk tea, iced tea, slush, smoothie, shake, etc. The staff was friendly. Our drinks were all correct and tasted fresh. I really liked the quality of the drinks here vs the Oxnard location. I ordered my usual Matcha Jasmine Milk tea with boba. Perfectly balanced bitterness of matcha, jasmine tea and 50% sweetness. The boba was perfectly chewy and not too soft. There's no place to sit down but you can definitely walk around the outlet to enjoy your boba or sit down on one of the benches around the outlets to enjoy your drinks. Will definitely be coming back here when I feel thirsty while I'm shopping! read more

I was in the area and craving a simple milk tea boba. I was happy to find the Boba Time near me at The Camarillo Outlet. I put in a mobile order with ease and drive right up. I was lucky there was no line and my drink was ready for me being chilled in their to-go fridge. I asked for it 50% sweet and it was right on the money! It's allocated on a good area to get a drink on a hot day while shopping, but I would not come back here again. The Oreo cookie drink was okay but not great. REAL REVIEW I'm an 18 year old this boba place is solid - good price - decent service - good boba I did pay an extra $0.75 for extra boba because I think it doesn't give enough without it. If there was no zeros I would give it. My drink was made wrong and I got a punk kid claiming to be manager "and there is nobody above him" ! Wouldn't redo my drink at a later time since I won't make it back before they close. So he wants me to drive around with drink for a few days until I am back in town. Thought he was funny when I asked for district manager "you can figure that out yourself" and hung up. It's so sad how bad customer service is. I can hear the kid coworkers laughing. I will never return to such a disgusting disrespectful place. read more

Happy that Boba Time came to Camarillo. Saves me having to trek to the next city over to get one of my favorite treats. Located in the Camarillo outlets ( the plaza that is the center of the three). My drink of choice is usually the Jasmine tea with milk foam with lychee jelly or the Thai tea with boba. This time I tried the matcha shaved ice. It was topped with fresh mango, kiwi, strawberries. I was pleased that the fruit was super fresh and sweet and not mushy or too tart. It also comes with a drizzle of condensed milk. Yum. They have so many different offerings here you could get something new every time. Service is fast and efficient too. read more
