We had gotten to the outlet really early and hadn't eaten breakfast, so we lucked out that some of the restaurants in the food court were open. We were enticed with this one because we got a sample of one of their chicken dishes. My brother and I ended up sharing a plate containing chow mein, two servings of the spicy chicken and one serving of the orange chicken. It reminded me of Panda Express, but had a different taste to it with the spicy chicken being our favorite because of the chicken nugget like breading and the spices. Wouldn't mind coming back to eat here hehe read more

China Max - The spicy chicken was our favorite next to the orange chicken :) - New American Near Me - Camarillo, California

This place should be shut down! Earlier around 3pm we ordered food. And my husband went back to tell them the Kung Pao was bad. I had put Chile paste on all l my food as I love spice. I ordered the vegetables and chicken and mushrooms. I didn't notice anything because of the spice. About 20 minutes I started to get bloated. And about an hour after that I got diarrhea. I have never gotten food poisoning before. This place is bad. No wonder all the bad reviews! Why is it still opened? It's 10:30pm and my stomach still hurts! My husbands farts smell like a sanican! And my farts smell of sulfur! I'm not kidding! Plus the diet soda was flat! read more

A rare find. Very lightly seasoned, clean, fresh, well made Chinese food from good ingredients at the picturesque Food Hall of Camarillo Premium Outlets (photo). You don't necessarily need thick sauces when original produce (veggies, meat, rice) is fresh and of excellent gourmet quality. White rice is also excellently tasting well prepared with a bit of moisture in it. The double entry on my photo was $9+65c tax at 7.25% in Camarillo. read more

I had the Kung Pao Chicken, and at first it tasted good, but then a few minutes later my mouth and stomach started burning. Eventually, I felt numb in my mouth. The feeling did not go away for an entire day. The beef in the beef and broccoli was tasteless and chewy. I will not return. read more

I've had passed by China Max several times while visiting Camarillo Outlets. I've always been quite nervous to try China max due to the mixed reviews. Not to mention I'm pretty picky when it comes to trying Chinese food from new places. Most recently while at the Camarillo outlets the smell sold me. My boyfriend got the beef and broccoli and orange chicken and I got the orange chicken and kung pao chicken. We also got their boba milk tea. The portions were huge but as of the Chinese food, It was ehh. Definitely not the best Chinese food. As of for the boba, I was not a fan, but my boyfriend loved it. The next day my boyfriend's stomach started to hurt really bad due to the Chinese food. I felt guilty because It was my idea to try China Max. We will not return. read more

I get here and the first thing they said is, we're out of noodles , would take about 3 minutes . Then the rice is ugly as can be . Oh we'll I'll give it a try . The server with the shitty attitude come all the out to the dining to ask my girl to pay or the soda she because her boss would call the Secury guard of tee place Now wait a minute . Where the hell is the drinking boss of her that was able to see my girl getting two frisking cups of soda but Is not able to take care if the quality I the food they're serving . This place just honestly deserves a thumbs down, we came to do a little shopping and wanted to grab a quick bite, the fried rice was just stale and tasted horrible, the Kung Pao Chicken was the worst I have ever tried it was drenched in oil and the chicken tasted horrible, I also got the pork and I can't even describe the taste. I ended up having a couple bites of the food and just threw it away. What a disappointment. read more

The food was just ok, not much flavor to it. I was somewhat enjoying my lunch when I saw one of the girls who was serving food, picking her nose and her face and then grabbing a tooth pick to put a sample on it. She continued to wipe her face and then grab onto the serving spoons. I totally lost my appetiet and threw my food away. I will not be going back.... ever. read more
