We had gotten to the outlet really early and hadn't eaten breakfast, so we lucked out that some of the restaurants in the food court were open. We were enticed with this one because we got a sample of one of their chicken dishes. My brother and I ended up sharing a plate containing chow mein, two servings of the spicy chicken and one serving of the orange chicken. It reminded me of Panda Express, but had a different taste to it with the spicy chicken being our favorite because of the chicken nugget like breading and the spices. This place should be shut down! Earlier around 3pm we ordered food. And my husband went back to tell them the Kung Pao was bad. I had put Chile paste on all l my food as I love spice. I ordered the vegetables and chicken and mushrooms. I didn't notice anything because of the spice. About 20 minutes I started to get bloated. And about an hour after that I got diarrhea. I have never gotten food poisoning before. This place is bad. No wonder all the bad reviews! Why is it still opened? It's 10:30pm and my stomach still hurts! My husbands farts smell like a sanican! A rare find. Very lightly seasoned, clean, fresh, well made Chinese food from good ingredients at the picturesque Food Hall of Camarillo Premium Outlets (photo). You don't necessarily need thick sauces when original produce (veggies, meat, rice) is fresh and of excellent gourmet quality. I've had passed by China Max several times while visiting Camarillo Outlets. I've always been quite nervous to try China max due to the mixed reviews. Not to mention I'm pretty picky when it comes to trying Chinese food from new places. Most recently while at the Camarillo outlets the smell sold me. My boyfriend got the beef and broccoli and orange chicken and I got the orange chicken and kung pao chicken. We also got their boba milk tea. The portions were huge but as of the Chinese food, It was ehh. Definitely not the best Chinese food. As of for the boba, I was not a fan, but my boyfriend loved it.
