I had a craving for frozen yogurt and found a place near where I was, which was Wild Cherry. I haven't eaten frozen yogurt in way too long, and I used to go to Yogurtland before it closed down in Oxnard. I adored Yogurtland and all its yogurt and topping choices. When I entered Wild Cherry, it was about an hour before they were closing, so it was empty, but the store was spotless. While I ended up choosing simple vanilla as my flavor of choice, there weren't too many flavors to choose from. I think there are about 6-8 flavors total to choose from. Also, there was a sign discouraging people from sampling the flavors. Boo! Also, the toppings selection was limited. Although they had some nice fruit options, I particularly wanted to add brownie bites to my yogurt, but they were nowhere to be found. So, my frozen yogurt choice ended up being on the healthy side. I added fruit and a smattering of chocolate chips to give it a chocolate boost. The yogurt ended up being delicious, though. The server also offered to help me with anything I needed and to let me know if I had questions. They weigh your yogurt and then tell you how much you owe. You can also order smoothies and boba from this store. While Yogurtland will forever be in my heart, Wild Cherry's frozen yogurt hit the spot for me. read more

Wild Cherry is not what it used to be. Stopped by at around 3:30pm on a weekday and workers were nowhere to be found. The place was empty and quiet; only customers were myself and an older couple. We were all waiting for a worker to appear and about 10 mins later someone finally rang us up. Cashier only offered a discount to the older couple for the wait, but I was charged full price even though we were all waiting for the same amount of time. The froyo itself wasn't good and I ended up throwing it away. The taste was off and gave off a rancid flavor, not even the toppings made it edible. Wasted $13 and my time. read more

Big scammers when it comes to promotions for their store, I received something through Clover that was supposed to be for a discount that read "Use next time you come in" but the owner then proceeded to tell me it was only for one day (not written anywhere) and wouldn't honor anything close to it. He then told me that it's the Clover app that's responsible, to which they replied that really it's only the merchant that controls the promotions. So the owner put a false advertisement out, brought me in as a customer, didn't honor the promotion, then blamed it on someone else. Will never patronize a place like this. read more

They offer a good variety of yogurt flavors and a large selection of dry, liquid, fruit, and boba toppings. Like most self-serve yogurt stores prices are based on weight. They also offer a large selection of non self-serve smoothies and other frozen drinks. Prices are very reasonable and the employees are really helpful and friendly. And they have a few indoor tables if you want to eat there. So, if you're in the mood for a really tasty sweet treat I highly recommend Wild Cherry. read more

Every time I have ever stepped foot into this establishment I have had a disappointing experience. I don't think this place is very clean or nice looking in fact I think everything about it is unsanitary, even the Fro-Yo machines & the toppings look gross and left out. I am very upset right now because I went to this location, asked for a milk tea, and was given a milk tea, WITH NO TEA. Not only that but I waited at least 15 minutes for this milk tea minus the tea and paid $7.50 for it. Didn't even try it until I arrived to work and at that point couldn't do anything about it!! Just pure disappointment honestly, and even though I only lost $7.50, that's still $7.50 in this economy. I used to love coming to my local Wild Cherry, in Camarillo . However since the pandemic it seems the flavors of frozen yogurt hardly ever change, giving it less variety. And as of late, many of the yogurts seem to be empty or inoperable (sometimes less than half are working!) . And when I went yesterday, 7/3/24, I was taken aback at the uncleanliness of ALL the yogurt stations (see pictures). I was the only customer in the store and the staff member was no where to be found. It appalled me that the yogurt stations would be left so dirty... the trays at the bottom full of soupy yogurt waste. I was disgusted by the obvious disregard the staff and management has for their business. I left without purchasing anything and I will never go back! Pros: They have 10 flavors of milk tea to choose from with boba included Cons: The workers there (a young lady) doesn't know how to make any of them. The milk tea tastes okay (6/10) and the rest of them taste awful or the lady will say "we are out of this flavor today". The reviews seem shady with only 1 review from new accounts! We visited last night. The first red flag, they have a sign notifying customers they do not offer tasting! Had we tasted the yogurt we would have left, the chemical bitter taste was absolutely vile, the nut and coconut toppings tasted rancid and stale, there were toppings that were supposed to be crunchy but instead moist and stale from sitting open too long. $21.00 two medium yogurts with very light toppings second red flag! Watched the gentleman spoon a few boba into a cup, then pour in some milk tea from a refrigerated jug. Boom, done! I had my drink in about 30 seconds. I highly recommend this family owned donut shop. Their donuts are delicious and their breakfast sandwiches are very tasty as well.

I hate to do it to this place but I have to. It just isn't very sanitary and it's noticeable. They keep the doors wide open during the day letting flys land all over the uncovered "fresh" fruit. Just invest in an AC and keep the doors shut. When I went to grab the fruity pebbles container it was totally sticky to the touch like it's never been wiped down in history. The cringe factor is almost unbearable. Selection is minimal.
