This particular Rori's shares space with Shooby's Chicken & Burgers, and Topa Topa Brewery, which is a brilliant combo of food & beverage places under one roof. After DH and I enjoyed our Shooby's meal, we had to top it off with Rori's. Their Chocolate-Coconut flavor, a non-dairy choice, was creamy and richly chocolatey. High marks for the texture and flavor! The main reason for four stars instead of five is that their "small" portions are very large, with prices to match. The minimum small portion is $9. Especially after a meal, I would prefer the option of a very small amount of iced treat as a finish to dining, not so big that it's almost like another meal! The service was fine. There was a small line and it moved pretty quickly. I was nursing a sore hip, so decided on my order and DH waited to be served, then brought over my "small" cone and his scoop in a cup to where I was seated in between Shooby's and Rori's. I was surprised at the amount of ice cream they provide. The ambiance is Old Town industrial style. Not exactly chic, but not without its charm, either. Once again I'd love if the flavors were stronger, especially the lavender. Like most places in Camarillo, I wish Rori's was open past 8pm. Service is a little slow (in my experience there's usually just one worker behind the counter) but good overall. The prices aren't the cheapest -- one scoop is $9.50 -- but the portion sizes are generous. My husband and I are able to split a single scoop and still leave satisfied and full!

I find myself running into this 7-Eleven for a lotto ticket, gas, or a quick snack at least once a week. Right now, I'm addicted to their Japanese-style egg salad sandwich. The milk bread is fluffy and slightly sweet. It practically melted in my mouth. The egg and Kewpie mayo are creamy and delicious. Everything - from the texture to taste - makes this sandwich mouthwatering. I'm just sad it's nearly six dollars per sandwich. Not to mention that with the amount of these egg sandwiches I've eaten, I can feel my cholesterol climbing higher and higher. But it's SO delicious! Once you step inside the store, the old photographs that evoke Mister Softee's history and the classic interior will make you feel as if you've traveled back in time. Looking at the photos displayed in the store, you can see that the truck was used in a scene from the movie, and that Mister Softee has been loved by many for a long time. Isn't it wonderful that parents and children can enjoy the same taste together for many years? I always order soft-serve ice cream at the truck, so this time I thought I'd try something different: a strawberry sundae. It's easy to see why this simple yet delicious ice cream is so popular. The service was also good and friendly. They were selling original merchandise in the store, and everything was so cute! I adored Yogurtland and all its yogurt and topping choices. When I entered Wild Cherry, it was about an hour before they were closing, so it was empty, but the store was spotless. While I ended up choosing simple vanilla as my flavor of choice, there weren't too many flavors to choose from. I think there are about 6-8 flavors total to choose from. Also, there was a sign discouraging people from sampling the flavors. Boo! Also, the toppings selection was limited. Although they had some nice fruit options, I particularly wanted to add brownie bites to my yogurt, but they were nowhere to be found. So, my frozen yogurt choice ended up being on the healthy side. I added fruit and a smattering of chocolate chips to give it a chocolate boost. The yogurt ended up being delicious, though. The server also offered to help me with anything I needed and to let me know if I had questions. They weigh your yogurt and then tell you how much you owe. You can also order smoothies and boba from this store. While Yogurtland will forever be in my heart, Wild Cherry's frozen yogurt hit the spot for me.
