7-Eleven is a convenience store that offers slightly overpriced snacks, pizza, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, hot dogs, medicine, Slurpees, and more. I find myself running into this 7-Eleven for a lotto ticket, gas, or a quick snack at least once a week. Right now, I'm addicted to their Japanese-style egg salad sandwich. The milk bread is fluffy and slightly sweet. It practically melted in my mouth. The egg and Kewpie mayo are creamy and delicious. Everything - from the texture to taste - makes this sandwich mouthwatering. I'm just sad it's nearly six dollars per sandwich. Not to mention that with the amount of these egg sandwiches I've eaten, I can feel my cholesterol climbing higher and higher. But it's SO delicious! In honor of my 711th review, how could I not give five stars to one of my favorite places in the whole world, that's right, 7-Eleven baby! This Camarillo location is my go to and I've been coming here for a decade now. It's my safe place lol. I always get gas here as it's convenient and located right off of the freeway. Plenty of parking too which I appreciate when I need to run in and out quickly. The employees here are always nice and keep a clean store. They are always well stocked on items from snacks to my go to energy drinks. In the mornings I love to stop in here to grab a coffee. The smell of 7-eleven coffee is nostalgic from my childhood. They have a pretty big coffee bar at this location and they are good about keeping fresh coffees on rotation and plenty of creamers and sugars out on display. Added bonus for a coke slurpee and a spicy bite hotdog on my way out. If your not a 7-eleven fan I'm not sure we can be friends. Okay, just kidding but at least give this location a try as they run a clean store and are always friendly here. On a serious note, It's easy to take our run of the mill fast food spots, gas stations, and daily businesses for granted as we go there so frequently we forget sometimes to acknowledge that they are a business and deserve the same kudos as any hip and trendy new spot. Nice clean store with good workers. The gas is usually affordable compared to other gas stations. The snacks inside are always amazing with lots of variety to choose from. I also love the self wash car wash and the vacuums to keep my car looking clean. read more

Staff very rude been here a few times and they're always so rude and if your in an aisle they will push/bump you out of there way to get through. Tried using Apple Pay which has worked there before and I informed the cashier it wasn't working and she said maybe you just don't have any money so I used my Amex card and tried the tap and it still wasn't working. Best 7-Eleven I've ever been too great food, great service and the staff is A-1. Fresh doughnuts and fresh wings every time I walk in and the smell of fresh coffee. Finally! Finally! Finally!! I've lived in Camarillo for about 18 years (shuttup, I'm old) and this is the very first 7-Eleven!! I don't know if it's open 24/7 like most 7-Eleven's as almost EVERYTHING in Camarillo closes around 9. OK, 10. Hot dogs, Big Gulps were my choices for a "dope" lunch. Unfortunately since joining Yelp, that has all changed. I can't even look at the hot dogs spinning on those rollers (some of them just look like fried/rotted turds)!! I love 7-Eleven. This is a pretty good one. It has one of the cheapest gas stations in Camarillo and there is always nacho cheese. That is usually all I ask for from a 7-Eleven. I went to pump gas. The pay at the pump prompted me to slide card then enter pin or zip code after proceeding it said chip detected next time leave card in. I tried to leave card in but it kept saying to remove quick and didn't proceed. I went into the cashier who seemed uninterested that it didn't work. On my way in I dropped my license, AAA and credit card. A Good Samaritan turned in my cards to the cashier and called AAA. At one point before AAA got ahold of me I went into the cashier to see if anyone turned in my cards (approx an hour after I had left them) and they told me know. When AAA got ahold of me they gave me the Good Samaritan phone number. I called him and told him they had told me that they never got them then he offered to meet me there if they said it again. I drove back to the gas station and the cashier said again they didn't have it. I told him I spoke to the Good Samaritan and he needed to look. Immediately the cashier opened the drawer with my cards. My new DL was there yet he acted like my name didn't match and questioned my DOB. At this point I was getting irritated. He finally pulled the DL card out from the rubber band. I said "my credit card." He insisted it wasn't my card. I became angry. I said the name matches my DL. At this point a women came out and lectured me that I should be grateful that they were turned in. I said I was grateful that someone turned them in but not that you are trying to keep them and keep lying to me. She then tried to claim the cashier was clueless and that the cards were just turned in but her own details kept digging her in a lie. I have no doubt this has station and/or cashier was trying to keep my card and information for fraudulent. They lied twice and then kept doing everything to not give me back my credit card. Went yesterday for free slurpee day on 7/11 around 5:45pm. Was told at the door there were "no more free small slurpees, but you can purchase a larger size" 2nd time this has happened on 7/11 day at this location. Bait and switch? Maybe ask if the customer if they would like to pay the difference in sizes?? Poor planning if they just ran out of small cups. I guess we were told before entering the store but it was hot and kids were already excited about slurpees. read more

Not a fan of this location at all. I understand that it's a quick in and out stop at 7eleven, but I don't think that service should be treated as such. In fact the service here has been so poor on quite a few occasions that I only go if absolutely no other option is available. Obviously there are things that I could stop in for, and I hope that you take this as constructive criticism so I can change my opinion on your location. There is barely any interactions with your customers, and people enjoy a friendly hello or have a good day when you see them as often as you do. Throw away the stale items or make an effort to clean the station where these items are kept. Also, don't charge me full price for a cup of coffee if I'm only asking for the cup. I don't mind paying the 25 cents for the cup but to charge me the full price is a bit unfair. Anyway, out of pure convenience for myself I'd love it if you got your store in order and I will pop in once in a while to see if things are the same.
