Aldi is one of my favorite stores to be at. I have been to this location few times and never had any issues. Their fruits are always fresh and tasty. Its located in a very busy plaza, they have plenty of space for parking. I will return and recommend it to everyone read more

My Hungarian father in law is always saying "Go into Aldi, lots of hidden jewels there" . I had the opportunity the other day. It was great. I like the selection of Organic Oatmeal, fruits, the random frozen food finds & of course ALDI finds. Favorite purchase today was an Organic Quinoa buffalo cauliflower pizza it was . The store was packed and they had one cashier. Super long line. We had a re-usable shopping bag and had our items in it. The cashier turned the bag upside down with milk and grapes and just dumped it. Then couldn't even bother to put the items back in the bag. She threw the bag in a cart and tossed the items on top of the folded bag. This was my first time at this store. I will not be returning. Pure laziness and just rude. read more

Always clean , great prices and not overtly crowded like it's competitors. They do offer the wipes outside the store for the cart (unfortunately they were out today but meh) they have the touch less hand sanitizer dispenser for the CoVid protection. All the employees are wearing masks the whole time and they have signage that tells folks masks are required to enter the building. Good prices on items needed and they have some items that Are not traditionally in the supermarket so what's good. Customer service is pretty courteous and check out is fast, they really only need a few people to run the store at the time and it works out. I want to tell more people about going to Aldi as an alternative especially if you're trying to stay out the way and get what you need to get and get out. read more

Love Love LOVE Aldis! I'm here at least twice a week because it's so quick and convenient. They carry very reasonably priced organic, grass-fed, free-range, clean items. They also have very inexpensive regular items as well as the cheapest eggs around. Aldi's is related to Trader Joe's so there are a lot of similar items at better prices. Also a lot of fun German finds. It's a no frills spot where you use a quarter to use the cart (which ensures you'll return the cart to get your quarter back), have limited choices on the most popular items, and bag your own groceries. read more

Literally the worst Aldi I've ever been to in my life. I've been in more hectic environment with employees still providing outstanding customer service, but this Aldi in particular has the worst customer service ever. Both cashiers did not acknowledge my question. One was looking bitter towards my presence specifically because she obviously smiled at someone in the distance, but when ringing me up, her whole demeanor changed as if I pissed her off. And the other had rudely responded with an "I'M BUSY!" Anyone who shops at Aldi, I highly suggest you shop at the Ventura Rd. location because we've never had an issue with such their employees' customer service as they are much more helpful when needed. This was my first time coming here since I am new to the area. Their prices are amazing. They do not have all of the name brand items you see at larger chain markets, but they still have good products. They are smaller in size, however, they have the essentials: dairy, veggies, fruits, etc. I ended up only spending $37 which probably would have been doubled at like Ralph's or Vons. Oh yes, and $12 of that $37 was beer. So for food items I only spent $25 and I left with 3 bags filled to the top. You also bag your own groceries at the end, and you need a quarter to unlock the grocery carts. You eat your quarter back when you lock the cart back up at the front of the store. read more

Went to the new location that opened this month. Still rocking some grand opening specials like fifteen cent avocados and Roma tomatoes for five cents a pound. Not a wide selection type grocery store, a little bit more like Grocery Outlet, where they just have what they have. Not eighteen kinds of toilet paper or laundry detergent. I ended up getting some really nice looking dried pasta imported from Italy, and stocked up on some canned tomatoes etc. Produce and meat looked okay, but I would be less inclined to buy those here personally. Put in a quarter to borrow a shopping cart, they ring you up and just put the groceries back in the cart. There's a spot you can get it all out again and put in your own bags. Reminds of the grocery stores I grew up with as a kid. As a disabled person, this store in Oxnard on Gonzales Rd is a perfect size. The store is bright clean with very wide aisles, fully stocked with an outstanding selection of quality food, produce, vegetables, meats, poultry, & fish at incredibly low prices. I was shocked how much money we are saving, anywhere from 30% to 50% on the same quality food we purchase from Vons Or Smart & Final. In fact, I think the quality is even better and very happy with the selection to pick from. Glad I discovered this place, I'm a customer for life. read more

I wanted to love Aldi so much, because I have heard great things. I felt like this place lacked a lot of things though, including customer service at the cash register. I understand y'all are trying to get people to get out fast especially because we have to bag our own groceries which isn't a problem, but when one person makes you feel so bad your first time regardless of great prices, I won't be returning. Story time: Upon getting ready to check out my husband asked if we could have a moment to organize everything on the belt since we have to bag it ourselves (they were slow so it didn't seem like a problem) and of course we got a "what? excuse me?" kind of mentality. So okay I get it. As we move on she begins to just throw everything into the empty cart next to her so fast we weren't sure if everything would make it. Fast forward to this whole cart exchange process; which need serious work because what the heck. She proceeds to tell me I needed to take my kid out of the cart now before we even got everything out of the cart because she needed it for her next customer. I totally understand that, but we just needed like two seconds and she would of had a cart. Instead she proceeded to bang (not exaggerating) her register so loud to close it and storm off to get another cart. Let me tell you when she came back she had TWO carts because we were done, so if she would have waited she wouldn't have felt rushed or anything god forbid since we already did. So I understand everyone has a bad day, but considering I was having anxiety already because this was my first time at Aldi and I didn't know where anything was, this lady made it so unpleasant that I probably won't ever return again. read more

Great "no frills' grocery store with some hard-to-find, high-quality items and everyday low prices. The store was clean on the day I visited. It could have been a bit more tidy. On certain days, you can find fantastic bargains because prices have been marked down. Most of the products are ALDI exclusive brands, which I have found, are superior in quality. At the time I went into the store, avocados were selling for only 29 cents each. They carry a number of European wines and sweets that you cannot find in Ventura County (and likely, in no other supermarket chain store in the USA). These products are high-quality and often superior to those found in other supermarkets. ALDI also partners with a wide variety of growers - including some local farmers - to offer a wide variety of fresh, in-season produce, including organic fruits and vegetables. They also have "ALDI Finds" which are products of great value, from small kitchen appliance and seasonal items. I'm giving Aldi 4 stars because of the limited range of items it stocks. Also, I'm giving this store 4 stars - a good rating - because it could have been a bit more tidy. read more

There's a security guy who usually stands around the entrance, I'm unsure if he's employed by aldi, but he saw I had my hands full and he loaded my groceries in my car for me! read more

This is the best Aldi store I have visited! I always find what I'm looking for, and for amazing prices. It literally blows my mind what I can get here for $40. A lot of people mind that they don't carry certain brands but I honestly don't, the quality is great and the prizes are even better! I like the idea of the Aldi Finds as well. They even have an app where you can see what will be featured in there as well. The store is clean/organized and the staff are friendly. Recommend giving it a shot from your traditional supermarkets :) read more

This morning at 10am was my first time going into this store. The short Hispanic lady at the register was extremely useless. After she slammed all of my stuff into a cart I simply asked "do you have any bags" she gave me a disgusted look at said "there" pointing to the bags. It was very obvious I had never been into the store because I even asked her if they had a rewards card. She didn't say hello, good morning or anything. She had a smug look on her face when I was bagging all of my groceries myself. She sat there with her arms crossed looking me up and down. This is the first time I have been to an Aldi Store, and I must say I am a fan of their simplicity and great prices. They are a bit savvier​​ and easy going compared to trader joes. They have less than other grocery stores but I like how fast I am in and out of the stores. I got in, got what I needed, and bam! I was out of there. They carry most of the ​major items like fruits, vegetables, meats, wine, beers, candy, ​and chips. Not many​ options as far as brand goes, but I love the simplicity. read more

I love this store! I have been shopping here since the store opened and I'm consistently blown away by how much cheaper my groceries are. Today, I decided to add up what my groceries would have cost if I bought them from Vons. My cart of groceries that cost me $53 would have cost me about $75 at Vons. That adds up to about $100/month I save by shopping here. It is the only grocery store I shop at now, other than bulk items from Costco. In light of recent COVID 19 changes, Vons became a really unpleasant shopping experience. Aldi is much less crowded. The workers are friendly and helpful. The only thing that takes some getting used to is that they carry their own brands almost exclusively. In a couple years of shopping there, I've only had one thing I bought that wasn't as good as the name brand. I'm convinced some of their items are actually made by the brand name company and just sold under their label. Unless something changes, I anticipate being a loyal customer for years to come. read more
