It's great to be back here at Island Pacific Oxnard. The freshest ingredients are here and I love the festive atmosphere in this store. Thank you, Island Pacific for the best items and great customer service. Will definitely come back!

Ehh stopped by for some onions . Not the best onions . A lot of them are moldy or bruised up. but I was able to find a couple good ones so it will do for now .

Personally, I like this Island Pacific Supermarket in Oxnard better than the brand new Seafood City Market in town. Comparatively speaking, I think this grocery store has a better selection of Filipino groceries than their new competition. We visited both stores one day apart. The Jackfruit that they sell at Island Pacific in their produce section is awesome!! Seafood City did not have that available the next day we went. Just sayin.... If we lived in Oxnard, then I think that I would rather shop here than the competition. As it is now, we will patronize Island Pacific more when we visit our friends in Oxnard.

Dinner !! Came on this Tuesday just for the halo halo - its buy one get one free only on Tuesdays ! They are very good !! We also stayed for dinner ! Sat in the dine- in section of the sea food market , ordered chicken rice and pansit combo , threw in some shrimp and empanadas . everything is tasty , service is good , very sweet lady at the register . This place is always super busy . Not too noisy , not too quiet .

Let me start with this quick explanation, when I stop at the Pacific Island Supermarket I come with zero expectations as to what I'm buying and treat it as a farmers market and see what's fresh and offered for the time I'm there. It varies greatly from each visit and nothing is guaranteed to be fresh and in stock so come open minded. When you do you can find some unique ingredients to standard pacific island fare. This isn't your local Vons or Whole Foods it's raw it's gritty but it's full of those flavors you crave from travels around the world or growing up around friends and family.

With it currently being Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I was curious what was in store at the Island Pacific Supermarket. It has been years since I've shopped here and thought this morning would be a good time to check it out before heading into work. The store had just opened and all of the aisles were clean and stocked. There was even fresh fished stocked in the back and priced pretty well. The store had a great selection of dry good and very competitive with the prices of my new go-to store (Galleria) in Northridge. The best part of my visit this morning was the ready-made dishes. You can create combos from a large selection of cooked dishes. Since was still early, I opted to try their halo halo drink. It was my first, but I'm accustomed to many other Asian sweet drinks and desserts. This was a very good drink and very sweet and cold. It would be perfect for a hot day, but it was also a great way to start a morning off. The lady that made and served my drink even gave me instructions on how to eat and drink it. Overall, this place is very friendly and the freshly made food looked delicious. Don't forget to order a halo halo! You won't regret it.

Ask the Community - Island Pacific Supermarket - Oxnard

Anyone know the phone number to here ? I call and it says disconnected?

    Do they carry Kimchi?

No I actually went there today to look for that.

Do they fry fish ? Like seafood city does?

Yes, you buy the fish, they clean and fry.

Do they sell the 2x spicey noodles?

To be honest with you, take the time to drive out there and look for yourself. By doing so, you'll have the advantage of seeing the tons of noodles, Brands and fire alarms your gastrointestinal tract can take.… Read more

I'd been doing Instacart orders from them but first time physically inside this weekend to check them out. The inside was super super clean. Major points there! In the time I was shopping around they had plenty of staff working, floors being mopped and all of the aisles were well organized and pretty. This market is a pretty standard Asian goods focused grocery store. I found about 85% of what I wanted here. I wish they had a premium sushi section and some more Hawaiian imported goods (aside from juices and sauces) but otherwise I was able to find everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. Also the woman working the register who checked me out was very nice. A great supermarket and I'll definitely be back more often now since checking them out.

My friend and I arrived at 8pm, checked into the event with a free ticket she downloaded from another app (I unfortunately for got the name of the app). It was pretty busy already with folks enjoying the DJ's tunes, filipino food and overall vibes. I bought the traditional Halo halo dessert (see my pic) and it was decent. Through out the night there was free gifts, contests and lots of dancing. Overall fun family event to enjoy. Seafood City is located in a strip mall. Lots of free parking. I occasionally shop here for speciality asian items that I couldn't find at Island Pacific. Prices are a bit steeper here. Service is decent here, for both the food court and supermarket.

Once arrived we were greeted right away by the owner and staff and was seated right away. Luckily the restaurant wasn't that busy yet. Right of the bat service from Samantha P was fantastic and very friendly. As for the food we ordered 3 different appetizer and 2 main seafood dishes to share. Appetizers: Aquachiles- They were freshly made that morning and the was fantastic. Clam Strips- They were fresh and nicely battered. Portions were on the small side. Delaware Bay Oysters- Fantastic and so fresh. Very clean tasting. For the main dishes we ordered: 5oz Blackened Red Snapper- The snapper was grilled perfect. It was flaky and moist. 4pc Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips- I ordered it half Beer Battered and half Panko Fried. The panko came out dry but had a better crispness to it. The beer battered is the way to go. The fish was moist and flaky and the batter was nice and light as well. Plus the chips ( Fries) where amazing. I believe they were double fried. The cash register is right straight in as you walk in. There are communal benches outside and a few high top tables inside, but the restaurant seemed to get a lot of pick up orders. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Saturday at lunch, which I was weary about since it's BBQ - but everything ended up still being hot and juicy. We ended up going with the 3-meat plate for about $30 total. It was enough for 2 people (or 1 really hungry person!). We ordered the brisket, burnt ends, and hot links which came with garlic bread and two sides of our choice - the star of the show was for sure the burnt ends, which were juicy and deeply flavorful. The brisket was moist, which I feel like is hard to find, but I do wish it had more flavor. The hot links were also good but didn't have much nuance either. Next time, we'll definitely save room to try some dessert, which was only $5! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!
