    Nicely decorated inside.

I ordered the two piece fish and chips which goes for $13.49. It was a plentiful portion, cooked nicely and served with a small side of cole slaw. I would have given this place four stars except for the fact that approximately half of one of my pieces of fish was exceptionally hard. From an appearance standpoint, it looked fine and it did not seem burned at all. However, the batter for some reason had hardened to the point that it was almost like a rock. The rest of the meal was fine and quite tasty. I also enjoyed the decor in this place, especially the colorful mural on the wall.

Was in the area I saw that it was a seafood spot didn't check the reviews or anything. I walked right in the server was friendly and I ended up ordering the mahi-mahi five dollar piece of fish and a side of chips and some barbecue and the ceviche the ceviche was actually pretty good. I enjoyed it and the mahi-mahi was also amazing very moist and flaky., keep in mind. I've actually never tried mahi-mahi. I was just curious and I will be ordering it again.

If you need a restaurant that delivers quality, made to order fish and chips at a solid price, look no further than Hook, Line & Sinker! Stopped by during lunch to try their 2 PC fish & chips. Subbed the coleslaw out for potato salad, which is made in house and has a refreshing taste. The fish batter was light but crispy, and the fish itself was buttery smooth! The fries did their job and were very hot! All in all a delicious meal. Nice service too by the man at the register, who gave me a full list of options to sub out the coleslaw which allowed me to enjoy their potato salad. Plenty of indoor seating as well with some nice cartoon style paintings on the walls along with themed sea decor. I am indeed "hooked" after my first bite at Hook, Line & Sinker! I will be back to explore more of their deep sea menu.

Tried this resto because it was highly recommended by coworkers. You place your order at the counter and Service was fast and resto is big. Ordered fish tacos and they were dry. I had to use the sauce for the coconut shrimp to add flavor to it. The shrimp/fish combo - well, there's nothing special about the coconut shrimp but the fish was the bomb! Perfectly battered and fried. I also ordered clam chowder and it was good but the clams were a bit hard. Overall, I highly recommend the fish and chips- technically just the fish - forget the fries.

    Great place

I have continued coming here for many years and I post because I definitely recommend this great little restaurant. The Food is Delicious, the People are Amazing and the Ambience is welcoming.

We decided to stop in on a Sunday morning and check it out before heading back to San Diego…read more Plenty of parking on the street or in the lot. The market had many more booths than I was expecting after reading the write up. They had a mix of food items for sale from fruits and veggies to desserts, to fish to drinks but they also had jewelry, clothes, toys, cremes and balms and other assorted items. Their fruits and veggies were impressive. It was so vibrant, colorful, fragrant. Enjoy my photos of the berries to see what I mean. I did buy a bakery item from the booth that had a lot of items, but no one in line, no wait versus the other booth that had a good amount of items but about 15 people in line. I should have known. My coffee cake item had saran wrap but it had a hole in it, and it was very stale. I am assuming that the hole led to it being stale and not that it was an old item not freshly made that day. It was very disappointing. If you are in the area, stop in and check it out.

There are rows of spots in their harbor parking lot but also some street parking. It's free entrance and you are welcome to come in and out of the market. This is why I appreciate Ventura County, no fees! This farmers market is a pretty good size with so many vendors ranging from produce, home goods, frozen foods, clothing and ready made and to go food stalls. This market really has everything and is highlighting some of the best local small businesses in the 805. Saw many familiar faces but also some new booths that I was able to support. Bought fruit and pastries for days (dangerous) because everything looked so good. Prices seemed reasonable enough to be. You are buying straight from the vendor so you cut out the middle men. I love the cooked ready to eat food options at this market. My local one only has a tamale guy but here they had that and another 10 vendors of ready to grab bites. I definitely snuck away with some pupusas and a refreshing strawberry lemonade. Now one of my favorite farmers markets - you'll catch me here much more often. Happy Sunday yall.

I'd been doing Instacart orders from them but first time physically inside this weekend to check them out. The inside was super super clean. Major points there! In the time I was shopping around they had plenty of staff working, floors being mopped and all of the aisles were well organized and pretty. This market is a pretty standard Asian goods focused grocery store. I found about 85% of what I wanted here. I wish they had a premium sushi section and some more Hawaiian imported goods (aside from juices and sauces) but otherwise I was able to find everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. Appetizers: Aquachiles- They were freshly made that morning and the was fantastic. Clam Strips- They were fresh and nicely battered. Portions were on the small side. Delaware Bay Oysters- Fantastic and so fresh. Very clean tasting. For the main dishes we ordered: 5oz Blackened Red Snapper- The snapper was grilled perfect. It was flaky and moist. 4pc Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips- I ordered it half Beer Battered and half Panko Fried. The panko came out dry but had a better crispness to it. The beer battered is the way to go. The fish was moist and flaky and the batter was nice and light as well. Plus the chips ( Fries) where amazing. I believe they were double fried. It was crispy on the outer layer and creamy inside. All in all we did enjoyed our Mother's Day lunch at Fisherman's Catch. Until our next visit.
