CA king crab. They also have it freshly boiled for you as an option.

I always stop by and grab a few fresh fillets right from their boat. This place is set up directly below the farmers market on Sunday, on the marina side. The lady that helps me select what cut to use, is very nice and always makes me feel welcome. My favorite is their salmon, it's so fresh, I make sashimi and some great fish tacos with the veggies n tortillas I grab from the farmers market.

Ok. I gotta share just to be fair, my favorite secret of Fish Faniacs! My hankering for the Sea Bass collar and the belly! Pretty much hard to ever beat this meal experience, not to mention Chris the fisherman and his wife Dana. And now thanks to Chris's suggestion, I ventured into the carcass. Chris saved the carcass from a White Sea Bass. What a meal! Quick smoked over apple chips, meat flaked off the big bones and you'll never have a better fish taco! The belly and the collar are amazing but now have a rival! I am hooked on the carcass too! Then all the left overs and bones into a pot with carrots, celery, onions- on their way to a grand PHO soup. This is Food Net Work style food! Home run Chris! And not to mention he and his staff are so kind to my little grandsons showing them the huge California crabs and big fish. They both so want to be fisherman just like Chris! Love my Sunday mornings at Fish Faniacs!

Fresh Fish Fanatics is a local family owned and operated purveyor of fine seafood from CI Harbor Docks on Sundays 10 - 2pm

We decided to stop in on a Sunday morning and check it out before heading back to San Diego…read more Plenty of parking on the street or in the lot. The market had many more booths than I was expecting after reading the write up. They had a mix of food items for sale from fruits and veggies to desserts, to fish to drinks but they also had jewelry, clothes, toys, cremes and balms and other assorted items. Their fruits and veggies were impressive. It was so vibrant, colorful, fragrant. Enjoy my photos of the berries to see what I mean. I did buy a bakery item from the booth that had a lot of items, but no one in line, no wait versus the other booth that had a good amount of items but about 15 people in line. I should have known. My coffee cake item had saran wrap but it had a hole in it, and it was very stale. I am assuming that the hole led to it being stale and not that it was an old item not freshly made that day. It was very disappointing. If you are in the area, stop in and check it out.

There are rows of spots in their harbor parking lot but also some street parking. It's free entrance and you are welcome to come in and out of the market. This is why I appreciate Ventura County, no fees! This farmers market is a pretty good size with so many vendors ranging from produce, home goods, frozen foods, clothing and ready made and to go food stalls. This market really has everything and is highlighting some of the best local small businesses in the 805. Saw many familiar faces but also some new booths that I was able to support. Bought fruit and pastries for days (dangerous) because everything looked so good. Prices seemed reasonable enough to be. You are buying straight from the vendor so you cut out the middle men. I love the cooked ready to eat food options at this market. My local one only has a tamale guy but here they had that and another 10 vendors of ready to grab bites. I definitely snuck away with some pupusas and a refreshing strawberry lemonade. Now one of my favorite farmers markets - you'll catch me here much more often. Happy Sunday yall.

The people working there said, the old buildings will be demolished and they will build something else. Too bad they will not return. So if you have a chance, go visit before it happens. This place is delicious and worth the 1.5 hrs from where we live.

Once arrived we were greeted right away by the owner and staff and was seated right away. Luckily the restaurant wasn't that busy yet. Right of the bat service from Samantha P was fantastic and very friendly. As for the food we ordered 3 different appetizer and 2 main seafood dishes to share. Appetizers: Aquachiles- They were freshly made that morning and the was fantastic. Clam Strips- They were fresh and nicely battered. Portions were on the small side. Delaware Bay Oysters- Fantastic and so fresh. Very clean tasting. For the main dishes we ordered: 5oz Blackened Red Snapper- The snapper was grilled perfect. It was flaky and moist. 4pc Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips- I ordered it half Beer Battered and half Panko Fried. The panko came out dry but had a better crispness to it. The beer battered is the way to go. The fish was moist and flaky and the batter was nice and light as well. Plus the chips ( Fries) where amazing. I believe they were double fried. It was crispy on the outer layer and creamy inside. All in all we did enjoyed our Mother's Day lunch at Fisherman's Catch. Until our next visit.

I was craving a burrito but only saw their breakfast burrito on the menu which is all day. Then I just wanted to ask just in case if they had any other burritos and good thing I asked because she said yes! They have a grilled or fried fish or shrimp burrito, crab and lobster burrito, and another one I don't recall. She even said they have burritos but they're not on the menu so I'm glad I asked. I was about to get the fish tacos but went with the fried fish burrito which came with salsa and chips. Honestly, the burrito was so bland. It only tasted good with salsa and the tartar sauce that came with my fiancés order. My fiancé ordered the halibut with fried zuchini and this cheesy garlic bread and clam chowder. Out of everything, the clam chowder and the cheesy garlic bread were the best. The halibut tasted very fresh. The fried zuchini was also bland. It came with cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Overall nice ocean view restaurant with seating inside and out. It was pretty crowded but not packed.

The place itself was clean, had a cool vibe and a nice bar area. It wasn't overly busy, so we were seated right away. I ordered the Big Breakfast for $21. Unfortunately, it was pretty underwhelming. Most of the food came out lukewarm and didn't have much flavor. The ham was questionable and probably the biggest miss on the plate. The pancakes, however, were actually good. Service was decent. Our drinks were refilled frequently and the staff took care of us, although nobody was overly friendly. The restaurant was also surprisingly quiet for a Sunday around lunch, especially for a marina location that seems like it should be packed. Overall, I was disappointed with the value. For the price of the meal, I expected either better quality or larger portions -- preferably both. As a chef, that's probably what disappointed me most because there is so much opportunity with this location. We did see a few lunch specials coming out of the kitchen that looked much better than our breakfast, so maybe we simply ordered the wrong thing. I probably won't return based on this visit, but I also wouldn't say it was terrible. Three stars feels fair -- decent place and great potential, but our breakfast just didn't deliver for the price.
