Fresh and delicious. Very friendly staff. They have other products and will try later. Go to their website and find out more.

BEST UNI DELIVERY SERVICE! Their 200g uni (sea urchin) is ALWAYS absolutely beautiful and perfect, not to mention the best deal for fresh uni! I have ordered from Tradewind a few times now and they have all been perfect experiences :) Communication is great, and they provide amazing customer service from the loveliest people! I am constantly talking myself out of placing another order because when it comes to Tradewind i have no self control! Their Tanota brand frozen takoyaki is delicious too! The only thing I could ask for is to bring back my favorite Tanota mentaiko takoyaki sauce :)

Do I need to order online for pick up or can you walk-in to buy everything? Is the walk-in price same as online?

Hi there! Thank you for your message. You can walk-in to buy anything we have in stock on the day. Some items sell out quickly, so if you have certain items you'd like to get for sure, we recommend you to place an order online before coming to our… Read more

Is this place a seat indoor restaurant ??we plan to drive down from San Francisco to eat here next month ..

Hi there! Thank you for your message! We are not a restaurant. We are a Uni (sea urchin) processing factory and sell fresh Santa Barbara Uni and some frozen sushi grade fish for retail.

The uni was very fresh and there was no fishiness to the cured roe even though it was previously frozen.

Seafood is the place to visit. Just don't expect this place to be fancy or anything, because in terms of other shops around there is none. This place is the only place that is open. Even the restroom is a walk away. For our visit we came here on a Thursday morning. We arrived around 1030am and were the only one there. There's a tank outside where you can handpick your live rock crabs and 2 tank with live lobsters and spot prawns inside. Prices were very reasonable for fresh live seafood. Ordered the following. 1lb Live Steamed Spot Prawns- There were 7 good size to a 1Lb. The prawns was steamed perfectly. The prawns itself was so sweet and tender. It actually didn't need anything but it came with a few lemon wedges. Live Grilled Whole Lobster- The lobster is equally amazing. It was meaty and so sweet. Dipped that lobster meat in that warm melted butter with a little squeeze of lemon. The plate those come with a side of fries, coleslaw and garlic bread. It waa a good size lobster for the price. H.C Seafood is definitely a place I will come back to soon. The service was straight forward. Order inside and pick up outside at the outside window. Until my next visit.

It looked dead and closed, but there were some cars out back, so there had to be someone inside. When I got to the door, you can hear people inside with some Chinese music softly playing. The people are very nice. They greet you, and are very welcoming and helpful. The food is the reason for a three, the service is good. The seating is bad. It was a slightly windy day, and seating is only outside, so that doesn't help with being able to eat, but that doesn't really matter all that much. The food itself is what matters most. It is not that great. The fried shrimp is ok, the steamed or sautéed shrimps are ok. The grilled cod is ok too. Nothing great. Just ok. The fried scallops were not great. The onion rings are horrific. The fries were not fried enough to get some crisp, and not salted at-all. The entire meal was a waste. I don't recommend coming here, but if you do, just go with the shrimp, fried or steamed.

Whats neat about this farmers market is that it's actually local! Most of the goods are from Oxnard and not a random town thats hours away like other markets. I recommend coming here and getting a snack if you are going on any of the local boat tours to the islands.

There are rows of spots in their harbor parking lot but also some street parking. It's free entrance and you are welcome to come in and out of the market. This is why I appreciate Ventura County, no fees! This farmers market is a pretty good size with so many vendors ranging from produce, home goods, frozen foods, clothing and ready made and to go food stalls. This market really has everything and is highlighting some of the best local small businesses in the 805. Saw many familiar faces but also some new booths that I was able to support. Bought fruit and pastries for days (dangerous) because everything looked so good. Prices seemed reasonable enough to be. You are buying straight from the vendor so you cut out the middle men. I love the cooked ready to eat food options at this market. My local one only has a tamale guy but here they had that and another 10 vendors of ready to grab bites. I definitely snuck away with some pupusas and a refreshing strawberry lemonade. Now one of my favorite farmers markets - you'll catch me here much more often. Happy Sunday yall.

I'd been doing Instacart orders from them but first time physically inside this weekend to check them out. The inside was super super clean. Major points there! In the time I was shopping around they had plenty of staff working, floors being mopped and all of the aisles were well organized and pretty. This market is a pretty standard Asian goods focused grocery store. I found about 85% of what I wanted here. I wish they had a premium sushi section and some more Hawaiian imported goods (aside from juices and sauces) but otherwise I was able to find everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. Also the woman working the register who checked me out was very nice. A great supermarket and I'll definitely be back more often now since checking them out.

It was pretty busy already with folks enjoying the DJ's tunes, filipino food and overall vibes. I bought the traditional Halo halo dessert (see my pic) and it was decent. Through out the night there was free gifts, contests and lots of dancing. Overall fun family event to enjoy. Seafood City is located in a strip mall. Lots of free parking. I occasionally shop here for speciality asian items that I couldn't find at Island Pacific. Prices are a bit steeper here. Service is decent here, for both the food court and supermarket.

Did have to flag them down for water refills every once in a while since they sat us in the back corner. My fish and chips unfortunately did not have a shattery shell like I was hoping it would. It was a little soggy on the underside. Clam chowder had reduced a little too much and had gone a little gloopy but still tasted yummy. Lots of clams inside. Portions are pretty generous for the price compared to other seafood spots. All other items were good but unfortunately no longer the drive we used to make for this spot. Would definitely eat here again if we're in the area however.

For over 25 years, this spot has remained a "go to" in the community, and we love seeing these old school treasures continue to thrive. From the moment you walk in, you get those nostalgic, old-school vibes. Loved all of the decor and pictures of fisherman throughout the place. The service here was awesome. Super friendly and welcoming, and the gentleman at the register gave great recommendations. He knew the menu well and was able to help me out with some suggestions. Honestly, the menu is so extensive it was hard to choose, but here's what I went with: Fish & Chips (2 piece plate): 5/5. The batter was light yet perfectly crispy, not overly heavy, and the fish itself was fresh, flaky, and high quality. Paired with a solid tartar sauce, this is a must order dish. The French fries were classic and I loved their coleslaw. Grilled Thresher Shark Plate: 4.5/5. This one was a standout for me given how hard it is to find shark on menus nowadays. I actually grew up eating shark, so this felt super nostalgic. The staff highly recommended it, and I'm so glad I listened. The grilled shark was mild, tender, and full of flavor thanks to their delicious balsamic glaze marinade. If you've ever been curious about trying shark, this is the place to do it. I'll be back again for this soon. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying and the best part? It doesn't break the bank. Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. Definitely check them out if you haven't already, a great old school restaurant in Oxnard.
