I got the an order of headless shrimp with sausage and corn in the ragin' special... it was so delicious! The Ragin' special sauce is ranked at medium spicy level, however, I thought it was the perfect about of spicy if you like still being able to enjoy the flavor of the food with a kick to it. Service was amazing! Staff was so attentive not only to myself but all 5 other tables. Staff were also very kind, helpful, and quick. Absolutely loved my dinner here, not a local or would definitely be back weekly ! 10/10 recommend :) read more

Very good customer service I 100% recommend super fast cheap. We ordered a crawfish boil, medium two sausages and three potatoes and they added an extra one that's good and it was only $64 plus the spaghetti, the garlic spaghetti the fried shrimp all of that combined was $64. Very cheap place to go to 100% recommend. read more

Easily the best seafood boil in Oxnard/Ventura! I can only speak for the dungeness crab though! I've been going here since 2017 and it's like, just the best ugh! Nothing tops. The flavor and seafood quality is just superior, period. read more

The restaurant was well maintained and it looks like it brings a lively atmosphere where people can enjoy a nice conversation while just eating and relaxing. The service was exceptional as well, greeted upon arrival and took my order immediately. My first time there so I didn't know what type of flavor to choose from. Great knowledgeable service in guiding me what flavor is the best. Food: BOMB.COM!!!! I ordered the crawfish, shrimp, Alaskan crab legs, and sausage. soooo good. for year i would drive to thousand oaks to the nearest Boiling Crab because of their flavors even though their shrimp would be more often than not over cooked. HOWEVER, we took a chance of this place finally and it blew our expectations out of the water! flavor is fire and shrimp is cooked to perfection the two times we have made it back. service was good and place is small (not too small) but very comfortable and accommodating to small and large groups read more

We were the first customers when they opened on a Monday evening and well...the waitress was already in a mood. No hello, or hi, have you been here before?! NOTHING!!!!! She could have at least faked a smile so I know she deserved her tip. The reviews on here on not accurate at all. The sauce is watery, greasy and bland super bland. Went here on a Saturday night and we had a long wait even though there wasn't too many people there yet. It would seem they were having a rather large amount of online orders and they were seemingly understaffed to handle that. I could tell the workers were working hard to keep up so I didn't complain. Once seated the service was excellent and quick. Waiter knew what he was talking about and took our order by memory and got it 100% right. I don't eat seafood, but my fiance tells me it was pretty good. She got the 1lb of shrimp and if you like spicy I'd get hot or raging, otherwise you will be disappointed. We shared some garlic noodles which were okay, and I had the chicken tenders and Cajun fries. Tenders were whatever as usual, but the fries were tasty. We both got lemonade and it was actually pretty good and refreshing. This place is rather small and it filled up quickly after we sat down. Not a single table available in the place. Seems this place has already out grown it's popularity. Overall it's a solid choice for a seafood boil. Just make sure you bring your own bib! read more

Just ate here today. Food is great! Price is reasonable. Still no indoor and outdoor sitting. Take out ok and you have to bring your food at the outside tables. There's enough parking for everyone. No family trays, just individual set menu. read more

Highly recommend, super yummy! We ordered (1) blue dungeon crab bag with one potato and one corn on the cob, (1) garlic bread and (1) garlic noodles for two people. Server was super nice, and helped pick our sauce when we were worried about it being too spicy for us. They still accommodated us even though it was close to closing and even held last call to make sure we had enough food. The bags weren't huge, but it was plenty of food for us. Good food, good service. Would go again! read more

Love a good crab boil but what we love most about this place is the garlic noodles. We usually get 1 lb of shrimp medium and 1 lb king crab legs. They're quick and always provide great service. Plenty of parking outside. We love coming here with the family. read more

Ragin Crawfish is soooo good! Like top 20 in Ventura county good! And what blows my mind is how I passed up on this spot for YEARS because 1. It's hidden and 2. shamefully no one in my circle had been there so I had no reference point for the longest. Good news is my man is a fan as he stubbled upon this spot from when he moved to the area. He brought me and I was in heaven. If boiling crab is any kind of reference point for foodies reading this then let me tell you this spot is BETTER and NO LINES! ok and for people that this reference didn't help, let me continue..... Ragin crawfish is bagged seafood in a delicious sauce of your choice. You have to get your hands a little dirty (no worry there are gloves for people like me who don't want to mess up their nails). You get a pound or more of seafood with amazing flavor for a really good price. I'm a wimp so I usually go with mild or medium heat, my man can handle hot but let me warn you he's sweating while eating!!! I also do the sauce with a little bit of everything in it, heat, garlic, butter, the works! I would highly recommend. I'm a fan of the already pealed shrimp. Super filling and easy to eat. My number one favorite is the clams though, less filling but just really tasty. I throw in some potatoes and it's a win for me! Service here is also stellar. Very friendly people and the food comes out quick. This place is such a hidden gem, I feel selfish keeping this place to myself as it's so good and underrated in the area. I always crave it. Price again is really fair for a pound + of seafood. A lunch/dinner for two with drinks, seafood, and a side is about $50 after tip. Really fair if you ask me. Ps- the Thai tea here is to die for! I liked this place a lot but I'm thinking CoVID has made things harder for them. The shrimp was dry with no sauce in the bag. Guess what .. they charge $5 for more sauce. It needed salt /pepper because there was no sauce in the bag and they now charge 50 cents per container. It's annoying that they charge 50 cents for salt and pepper when the shrimp is left flavorless. I was excited to come back and support but these changes have definitely made me not want to return. I understand them trying to get back on their feet and this is why I came to support them but not by nickel and dime-ing. Prices went up which I totally understand and would support if it was just that. I expected my experience to be similar to how it was pre COVID but definitely noticed the changes were done to make this place not as yummy. This is my first crawfish place I've tried in California and it really was a 50/50 experience. The raging seasoning/hot tasted great. It really was amazing flavors and spices, however the food itself was just meh. We ordered the crawfish, frog legs, and crab and had to order corn and potatoes separate for $1 each. The Total came out a little over $75. The crawfish are frozen (and they tell you that) but tasted okay and got a decent amount, the frog legs were nice and crispy and gave you a good amount, but the crab... The crab was just not good at all. Very stringy and was most definitely frozen. The menu doesn't state if the crab is frozen or not so I assumed it was fresh but there's no way it wasn't frozen. Either that or it was just a really bad crab. I mean if you're going to charge so much for crab ($48) should at least be fresh. Oxnard is right next to the ocean. Most crawbroil places automatically come with potatoes and corn so I kind of taken aback paying $1 for a quarter piece of corn and $1 for a potato that wasn't cut up. So a star for the seasoning and a star for the frog legs. read more

Came here for dinner one night with my family as an alternative to boiling crab. The food was surprisingly tasty, we had cajun fries, 2lbs alaskan crab, 1lb shrimp with potatoes, corn and sausage. We did the sauce combo and got hot sauce on the side, the hot sauce was DELICIOUS! We will absolutely be back! The only negatives were they did not have king crab, and their wine was so terrible I could not even finish a sip of it. read more

The French fries were classic and I loved their coleslaw. Grilled Thresher Shark Plate: 4.5/5. This one was a standout for me given how hard it is to find shark on menus nowadays. I actually grew up eating shark, so this felt super nostalgic. The staff highly recommended it, and I'm so glad I listened. The grilled shark was mild, tender, and full of flavor thanks to their delicious balsamic glaze marinade. If you've ever been curious about trying shark, this is the place to do it. Appetizers: Aquachiles- They were freshly made that morning and the was fantastic. Clam Strips- They were fresh and nicely battered. Portions were on the small side. Delaware Bay Oysters- Fantastic and so fresh. Very clean tasting. For the main dishes we ordered: 5oz Blackened Red Snapper- The snapper was grilled perfect. It was flaky and moist. 4pc Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips- I ordered it half Beer Battered and half Panko Fried. The panko came out dry but had a better crispness to it. The beer battered is the way to go. The fish was moist and flaky and the batter was nice and light as well. Plus the chips ( Fries) where amazing. I believe they were double fried. They tasted very fishy and the flavor was just completely off. This was the first bad experience we've ever had here, so it really stood out compared to what we are used to.
