Gas Buddy told me that they had the cheapest gas in the area. What they didn't tell me was that only 2 of their 4 pumps were broken. Of those 2, people were not in a rush to leave after pumping gas. One person decided to just sit in his car and eat his Spicy Bite, while another was just taking his time. What good is the cheapest gas if no one moves their car? My first time and last at this 7-Eleven. I parked my car in front and went into pay for $20 of gas and a cup of coffee. I went to pump my gas and a truck stole my $20 worth of gas. I went inside to speak the manager and to my shock and dismay she wouldn't give me the gas I payed for or a refund. I even spoke to another manager on the phone and he practically accused me of trying to scam them. This is the worst customer service I've ever received in my entire life! Went this morning to grab a bottle of water. I saw the BOGO sign so I grabbed two bottles. I was disappointed to see that the checkout line trailed to the back of the store. To my surprise, two registers were open. They were manned by two ladies who were cheerful and worked quickly and efficiently. The line moved very quickly. At the register, the kind woman pointed out that I had grabbed the wrong bottle size to get the BOGO deal. I was prepared to go swap them out, but she smartly scanned her own bottle, took my bottles to return to the cooler herself, and I was able to grab the right bottles and go without having to get in line again. I frequent this location because it is conveniently located next to my job. However, the staff is friendly and informative. One of the staff members sold me their brand iced tea and advised me there was a promotion going on; but 1 get 1 free. She didn't have to tell me, but I'm glad she did. Just the other day I tried their coffee for the first time...not too bad. I got the vanilla creme flavor and it was quite delicious. Plus, their prices are half that of Starbucks; easier on your wallet. The store itself was clean and well-maintained. There are plenty of gas pumps for cars to pull up too. WARNING: do not buy gas from 7-Eleven. I filled my motorcycle with 7-Eleven premium 91 gas and when I got back on the freeway my engine felt rough right away. The engine was running rough while riding fast or slow and while engine braking etc. When I got home from my trip I siphoned that bad gas out of my bike and put in top tier gas from a reputable gas station.Then I took it for a ride with the new GOOD gas in the tank. My motorcycle's engine was immediately back to normal and running well again. I was relieved. Don't waste your money on bad gas or potentially hurt your vehicle's engine. This 7-Eleven is a nice location...a newer, clean store right in the middle of the medical offices in Oxnard but with gas prices on the pricey end. Tonight when I drove by the price here for regular unleaded was $3.30 and a block away Chevron was actually one penny less a gallon. I bought gas at my local 7-11 on century and Vermont in the city of los Angeles. After a few minutes of driving my check engine light came on. My mechanic hooked up his OBD scanner to the Dodge Charger did not find a problem. He told me to get a name brand gas and drive it and see if the light goes off. I visit this store often. There is this guy named Terry who works there. He is so friendly and sweet and so shy but he is very customer oriented and has a great attitude and smile. All in all every worker there is friendly and nice and the place is clean. There are long lines at times and I get discouraged because I see the line but by the time I grab what I need to grab and go pay there is no line. They are very speedy and respectable workers. Always come here for a drink after the gym, but although the prices are a bit high, it's just convenient. Since this is next to a hotel, across the street from a residential area and near a gym you can expect this place to always be busy. I go here every morning on my way to work and it's nice to see such a robust staff that's always working. I've been into many 7eleven's where there's just a guy behind the counter that could really care less about anything, but these people go out of their way to get you in, and get you out quickly. Want a hotdog or mini-taco? No wait! If you stand in front of the case for longer than 2 seconds, they're there ready to help you. I've even seen the line so long as to stretch to the back of the store, and it ALWAYS moves quick.
