The wash is decent and gets a good amount of grime off car. I like that the dryer gives you 1.5 minutes of exposure. Most do not do as good of job at drying. It is what it is and that is pressurized water and truly touch less . However, on the weekend they chose to station some guy barking orders at the patrons. This was not just unnecessary but super annoying. He served no purpose other than to bark orders that no one needed. If he continues to be there, I will find another solution for my washes. read more

I do alot of driving for work everyday and my SUV needed a wash badly. I was buying gas and purchased the $8 premium wash at the pump. It was nice to see a discounted gas price after ordering the wash. It was $5.29 and after purchasing the car wash at the pump it was discounted to $5.09. I require a brushless car wash due to my antenna won't retract and the brush car washes will break it. I was pretty impressed with the wash. It takes about 5 minutes to complete the wash. Auto fuels is located on the corner of Auto Center Drive & Rice Ave (Santa Clara Ave). After I dropped off my car rental, I noticed a flat tire with my car. I knew there was a gas station this way so I drove here since it's nearby. If you're coming from Costco, & come out onto auto center drive, you make a right toward Rice Ave & it's on your right, on the corner before Rice. Not your ordinary gas station brand, but Auto Center Fuels Gas station is pretty convenient, esp if you happen to drive this way. It looks pretty clean. They have several pumps. They have air & water ($0.75, quarters only) but if you get gas here, ask the guy at the counter. I did not get the cashier/workers' name (1/8/18) at 9am on Monday morning, but He was super nice & gave me 3 tokens to use the air for my flat tire :) twice, Double Thanks Man!! Of all the gas stations I've been to, this one has the upmost customer service. Rodrigo (the GM) and his crew are very professional and there's ALWAYS at least 2-3 working so that you receive prompt, polite service. In addition, they have an extensive selection of food and beverages, alongside some craft beer/IPAs, etc. that you don't typically see offered at gas stations. Awesome experience ALWAYS when going in there--as I usually stop there in the morning/before work; but it doesn't matter, as you'll receive awesome service no matter what time of the day it is. I've been going through the Costco carwash for less than a year and recently stopped going because the carwash scratched my cars. I've taken an older car and a new car to the carwash but no matter what car you take that carwash will complete destroy your cars paint and more. I should of came to the Auto Fuels from the start since it's hard to find a touchless carwash but got hooked into all the hype at Costco's car wash. I don't get any gas here but the car wash is better than Costco any day! I know the car wash may not get everything but I have to tools and products to fix that. I'd prefer my car to be scratch free and damage free. Maybe Costco needs to lose the brushes and go touchless because I know they lost my business! read more

Wow, so random. No signage, super low key, and seems like it might be a sketch spot. But.... It was one of the nicest, cleanest, brightest, friendliest stops I've made at a gas station. Clean bathrooms. My mom was like 'you have to Yelp this place, it's the cleanest bathroom in a gas station I've ever been in'. So...I am! They had a great variety of snacks and food, some cool hard to find soda flavors and M&Ms flavors too. Weird. The attendant was really polite and greated each person as they walked in and thanked each as they walked out. There is a nice looking car wash here, and the pump stations were all nice and clean too. Off I know to 5-star a gas station, but it really was impressive and surprising given the super odd/random location and no-name appearance of this generic white building. If you need an easy on, easy off stop, this should be the one to do. read more

Great stop off the 101 North! Looks new and the restrooms are very clean. Well stocked convenience store as well. Competitive gas prices, but the best part is you can get $.20/gal off if you purchase a car wash. The washes range from basic $5 to platinum for $7. And honestly, with the amount you save on gas, you are actually getting the car wash at half price. As a fuel location, I have no comment. I did not go into the convenience mart, although it looked nice. I purchased gas and that was fine. In addition, I bought a drive-through car wash. Then as I pulled in for the wash, I saw the tunnel with NO brushes. There was a single pipe that that just sprays the top and sides of the vehicle. It has multiple nozzles and looks very innovative. It sprayed the soap, rinse, spot-free as it traversed the width and length of the vehicle several times, with the different solutions. But to my chagrin, it was remarkably ineffective. It did get the heavy dirt off the car, but as for more sticky stuff or greasy areas, it did not remove the grime. It did no better than a quick rinse with a garden hose. While $5 is a pretty basic price these days, it was not at all worth it. The two other places I frequent do a much better job for the same price. I visit Costco (just down the street) often, but their gas station was jam packed. I may get gas here, but NEVER a car wash! read more
