GETTING HERE: This Chevron is on the corner of Gonzales Road and Rose Avenue. Accessing the biz isn't the easiest, but it's doable. It's down the way from Wendy's and Chick-Fil-A and across from Wal-mart and Vons. REVIEW: As far as gas stations and quick marts go, it's fine. The customer service is hit and miss, which is to be expected nowadays, but overall it's fine. I prefer the Chevrons usually as the insides of their stores are larger and have more of a variety of items for sale. I've not yet used their restrooms, so I don't have input there. Previous Yelp reviews sang their praises, so that's an interesting side note. I'd recommend, no problem. If you need snacks I'd recommend running inside to stock up, especially if you're starting a road trip. read more

10/23 @ 1pm. Stopped by for a bottled drink (topo Chico water) while on my lunch break. I asked the attendant if they had any bottle opener behind the counter assuming it WOULD be something that they would have in a store that sells bottled drinks. Not only did the rude attendant not look up at me at all from texting on her phone, but she was sharp with her no and didn't even bother to look around at all. Perfectly fine gas station heading north on Rose Avenue right before you get to the 101. Great place to stop before you hit the highway. Clean, with easy in and out. I haven't been in the mini mart, but it looks like a medium sized one. read more

So I came to simple buy snacks and when I went to check out they offered me bags and I said yes please....why did they charge me for bags and than the bags were paper bags...lmao wtf. Also the cashier put like 5 drinks in one bag. Awesome. The bag ripped as I was getting to my car. Y'all annoying for that. read more

5 stars for the only Chevron station I frequent in Ventura County... When in Oxnard I usually end up getting my gas at one of two places and they are right across the street from each other. Its either here at this Chevron or across the street at Shell. To be honest this Chevron is usually a couple cents more expensive than Shell across the street, but the girl will ONLY put Chevron in her car so we are here alot. And to be really honest with you it usually depends on what way I am driving down Rose Ave...I am usually too lazy to make a u-turn in the horrible traffic of Rose so which ever station of the two I am driving past I stop at. The store itself is nice and big, well stocked and clean. I have never had a problem with any of the employees here...they have always been nice and friendly. Big tip...this is on the corner of Rose and Gonzales, there are two Chevron stations on Gonzales...the other one is down at Gonzales and Ventura. The one down the street at Ventura is usually higher priced. The other day gas at this location was $3.09 for regular and at the one at Ventura was $3.25. And hey...you can stop and get your gas, a Rockstar and your collectible Chevron car if you want it...and maybe go through the Del Taco drive-thru right next door all at once. :0) read more

This it truly the best gas station I've ever been to. Such amazing service here! People at this Rose Chevron have always been attentive and quick and helpful, but today their manager just took the cake!!! :))) just now the manager noticed there was no hand sanitizer on the shelf and I was looking for it desperately- so he went to the back gave me HIS OWN!!!!! I mean wow!! Who does that anymore!?! I am SOOO impressed!!! This seemingly small kindness allowed a frantic hungry nursing student to eat lunch in the car while I pumped gas so I could make it to class on time and actually focus on school instead of starving!! The night cashier took 5$ of my gas money. I understand the mistake that could have been on mine or his end. He could have miscounted and I could have accidentally dropped it. But what gets me more then anything as I walked back to my car to see if I dropped it the cashier did nothing to look for it on his end. He was set on the fact that he wasn't wrong. The sad part is the money was given to me by a friend i was giving a ride to. So the 5 dollar bill and five 1 dollar bills were handed to me right as I pulled up to pump. It was the only money I had so I know he got me for the 5 dollar bill. I will never go back here. He is the type to when your gas is full and it stops before it hits the amount you gave him instead of putting the change back onto credit card he pockets it. His name was Anthony O. read more

Worst service ever! They're all miserable working there, no personality and intentionally make people wait instead of opening on another register. If you're looking for a speedy check out, this is NOT the place! And DO NOT buy lotto tickets from there! They make you feel like such a bother, and only one person can sell them, this is ridiculous. I've never heard of this ever! Any other gas stations any cashier can sell lotto tickets. Perception as a consumer is they're being lazy, plain and simple. read more

These guys rip you off with car wash tickets. Be careful with the loser manager at this place. He is very rude and will try everything to rob you if every penny when you're buying from their store. He trains everybody to short change when you're buying using cash. read more

Thought I lost my scarf there when I got out of my vehicle to get gas last night. Called and spoke to the mgr today, who was so nice to look at the video clip at the timestamp on my receipt. It showed that I did not drop my scarf there. That was so cool of him to take the time to do that for me! Just the fact that he can do that makes me feel more comfortable going there at night. Just to give a shout out to Manuel who kindly offer his help by putting air to my tires he didn't have to but he choose to help me out I am grateful because one of my tires is not working properly so I was having a hard time putting air to the tire he didn't leave until that tire got the correct amount of air in it.
