The car wash here is great! I had a problem only once , and it was interesting to say the least. I came in for a car wash and paid inside and got the deluxe car wash for $11. Then got into my car and pulled around to go into the car wash and a van was already inside in front of me. I pulled up and keyed in my code, and it told me it was already used. I was confused as I had just paid for it. I had to wait for the van to finish just to drive back to the gas station to say "Hey! My code was already used!" What a hassle! They didn't believe me. Couldn't refund me. I said come look at my car! They finally reviewed the video footage to see my car didn't get washed! What a hassle but this place is great otherwise. read more

I come to this gas station because of their carwash. I love their carwash and they offer different options from normal to medium to premium. You do not have to get out of your car at all because it is handless. It is a drive through carwash so all you do is drive you car into it. Their prices are affordable and give you options to even save some money by buying multiple at a time. This carwash also offers rainbow colored soap that makes it entertaining for kids inside the car! read more

Used to love getting car washes and fuel. Clean bathroom. Price tags are often wrong, so just pay attention. However, once you have an issue, you will be gaslit, lied to and treated horrifically by management. They do not care about customers as retaining loyal customers doesn't matter to them. read more

Seems like a fine enough place to stop. It was being remodeled when I went in so the snacks & drinks selection was limited, but adequate for my needs. Gas is average price & speed. Nothing wrong with it. Have used the car wash once and it was good too. Overall convenient location right off the 101. Easy to get in and out of & back on the road. read more

Just want to take some time to give props to this gas station. Not only to mention it' got remodeled (looks fantastic) the employees are kind and keep this place looking good. But also as it appears in fuel rewards app it keeps cheaper gas prices than other Shell stations. This is my favorite to go gas station. read more

The diesel fuel prices are always good here & the place is convenient, but don't use the car wash. I filled up with fuel & bought a car wash but when I got to the wash area it says to push a button for attendant. A guy comes & says that they are out of painter's tape which they need so that they can tape down the back window wiper blade on my car (compact suv) otherwise it will be ripped off or damaged in the car wash. What?? I had to go back in & get a refund, which was not the end of the world, but do they seriously think that taping down someone's wiper blade is an acceptable way to make their car wash not damage someone's car?? read more

Got a car wash. The machine malfunctioned so we paid twice due to car in front of us being weird. Then went inside for a refund and had to wait 8 minutes for a review of the video camera. Then they wouldn't refund but only give a credit for a future car wash. The guys behind the counter seemed completely unconcerned about making me wait a long time. They have to be there all shift, after all, so what's the hurry? It's no wonder this place is rated one and a half stars. Avoid! read more

Easy access from 101 South off Seaward exit. The place is always clean and well lit. It is also well stocked with free stuff like paper towels, squeegees, water and air. They also have a car wash and snack shop. It looks like they have auto repair as well, but I've never seen that area actually 'open'. read more

It is December 29 Sunday at 520 pm right now. About 15 mins ago, i dropped by at this gas station to get a chocolate bar. I picked up the nestle princessa dark chocolate. When the employee with glasses and curly hair saw that we were paying with cash, he instantly aborted the transaction. I even asked him why was it aborted when i buying it and he quickly told me it was becoz he thought it was debit card that i was gonna use, but then i never saw him punch anything in again coz nothing appeared on the card machine screen again. My mistake was that i kept quiet, i should have said something. Now i am writing coz i feel bad for the owner of this place. This employee is a thief. He probably does this a number of times in a day during his shifts. They need to watch out. This employee cannot be trusted at all. I suggest u put a sign for ur customers to demand for receipts, otherwise, u will just be putting cash in this guy's pocket. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. The car wash is broken and the customer service is the WORST. I had to leave with a wet car and the clerk, Ivan, was extremely RUDE! He said he was having problems with fake money and that my problem was NOT a priority. He refused to give me a refund of my $10 for the car wash and he also refused to allow me to speak to the manager. He said "The manager is only here 8-430. The manager is only here 8-430. The manager is only here 8-430." It was like talking to a broken record while a camera is watching you, ready to put you onto a tv show, like punk'd. And when I politely asked about a refund, same response--"No refund on car wash. No refund on car wash. No refund on car wash." I finally asked him if he was ok, because he clearly wanted me to leave the store. I don't know if the money situation was technically him being robbed by the other guy in the store, or what was going on. He could've apologized for the inconvenience, he could've offered a free car wash, anything but be the jerk that he was. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Sadly, it's changed since it's been renovated. The car wash failed in the middle of the wash today. The nice kid at the station asked me a lot of questions, but then admitted she couldn't do anything without the manager there, and they wouldn't give a refund or a credit anyway. Really? (Shell on Harbor and Monmouth st. Ventura Ca.) I've been to this car wash a couple of times. But only if the usual one I use at (Chevron on E. Thomson and Seaward Ave.) is out of order. Like today. Aug. 20, 2016. Because...This one at Shell doesn't work 50% of the time. So you have to go back inside and get someone to reissue you another code. And they have had to say to me. "You must wait until the car ahead of you is fully out of the wash before you enter your code." So today I did that !!! which is not always the case with these type of self washes. But today I waited for the car ahead to exit fully. Then I typed in my code, waited for the green light and drove in. The green light did not turn to red. It just went black. (Nothing?) The thing just shut down completely. So I went back inside and explained that to the cashier. She said I'll have to get the manager. She went into the office and out with her came a portly little man, who as he past buy me said, "You pasted over the tire stopper / Activator mechanism." (Being a heavy equipment operator / truck driver / foreman, who has ran multi-million dollar engineering jobs and crews for over 30 years. I am quite capable of using a simple car wash! ) In a calm reasonable voice I said, "No I didn't !" "YES YOU DID!" He said ! I thought ok no need to repeat myself, I've heard every opinion,excuse and personality type imaginable in life by now. So I deduce (The guys a little put out from this wash never working CORRECTLY and maybe a bit of an a...?) So he came out and restarted the wash and stood there as I entered. (As the green light indicated to do so, the red light came on as my front tires reached the stopper.) The machine started wetting my car, but made only one pass with water only, stopped and turned green indicating go forward and the dryer started up. So he signals me to back up? So I back up a little. Nothing happened? So now with bigger hand motions he indicates to me to keep backing all the way back to him. And so I do that thinking he see's that it's not working.And will reset it again? But he now says, in that condescending voice, "You moved off the stopper, so the machine quit working !!!" I said, "No, It quit first !!!" ( Before you asked me to back up!) "NO,NO,NO...YOU MOVED SO IT QUIT BECAUSE YOU MOVED !!! (only after he asked me too!) Hello !!! Wow unbelievable ?? At this point I felt I was insulted for the second or third time being called a idiot / liar by this fat little prick...and so I stuck my head out the window and screamed in my construction boss voice back to him, "NO...I...DIDN'T" He responded by throwing my receipt in my window and yelling for me to leave. (Had my wife not have been waiting for the car to meet her real estate client I would have handled the situation with him right then and there.) But I was in a hurry! So I drove off in my wet dirty car in anger. (Thanks for reading my YELP!) haha... So, as for me they have lost my business forever. And for anyone passing thru Ventura south to LA in need of gas. Take the Seaward Ave. exit. And there's an great Arco on the opposite corner with best gas prices in Ventura. Just no car wash. Please go there and save yourself the money and aggravation. read more
