I love the few USA Gas stations I have visited in Oxnard and Ojai. I decided to stop by this location to fill up. I love that they accept Apple Pay. Well.....except this location. The contactless reader was smashed so it gave an error that it was declined. So, I did what a person buying gas that has problems with a pump would do, I walked up to the storefront only what...the doors are locked and there is no attendant in sight. There is no sign on the door saying "be back at x". This was 11:20am. The lights were on in the store and they sell snacks and other quick stop goods but no attendant to help me pay at the cashier. Extremely rude Leaves the door open, as if open for business, sign on. I coasted there in fumes, almost completely out of gas. I walked with $40 cash & the employee behind the counter didn't even acknowledge my presence for minutes. After waiting patiently for a while I asked if i could get $40 in gas. Cheap gas on my way out of Oxnard is the only thing good about this place. The pumps never work and are shut down frequently. The worst part is the rude black guy that works the register. He's always rude AF! He will ignore you. And have a ugly attitude when he finally decides to get off his old iPhone 5 to take your money. And if you have any change he'll slam it into the slot so it fly's everywhere on the other side of the glass. There is one cashier in particular that seems to be the most unhappy human being I have ever met! He is dark skinned and he wears glasses! He makes me feel like I am making him go out of his way, whenever I ask him for something other then gas, such as a lottery ticket or a lighter he literally huffs and puffs, I can't believe it! I am a business owner and need to fill up my trucks and tow trucks often and this is the only gas station on the south side of Oxnard that has diesel!! I try not to go here anymore due to the horrible customer service!! TRUST ME HE IS LIKE THIS EVERYDAY, YOU DIDN'T CATCH HIM ON A BAD DAY!!!! I have started going across town to other gas stations that sell diesel. I have always been very polite saying please and thank you and he has not once ever been polite or courteous in return! This station will not pump gas for disabled customers--no matter what--as my 90 year old neighbor discovered last week. There were two people working in the store at the time and they refused to help her, told her to get another customer to help. This is in violation of ADA rules and state and federal law. There is a sign posted on the door that says they will not help disabled customers. Again, in violation of the aforementioned laws. Needless to say, in protest, most of us living in a nearby senior mobile home park will no longer do business at this station. I encourage others to do the same. read more
