(Night shift ) Mr. A was very helpful :) the customer service i experienced with Antonio was 10/10 !‍ I was about to leave my work place around 11pm .. as soon as i started the car,system warning pops up and dashboard warning lit up as well telling me about something wrong with the damn tires again ? WHEN i just went to the nearest auto-shop the other day, to have one of the tire replaced cause of this huge and long roof nail punctured deep onto one of my tires . So i drove to chevron it was a 2 min drive .. i was panicking / very worried from the thought of having another flat tire out late in the evening by myself ? Nope. Noooo I just couldnt. ‍ Told myself to just put more air in all of the tires and well see it from there ! Yay BUT The problem is . I Don't even know to put air or how much air pressure does a tire needed to be filled with air and that etceteras. so i went inside towards the cash register to ask for help where mr A was behind the register responded with a smile and he listened attentively. And he did ! despite how late it was. He checked all the tires he was very patient though 15 mins had already passed he was still attentive and focused just to get things done, he even took his time and effort to pull his out his phone and searched how to remove the warning light symbol from the dashboard and system warning message showing at the infotainment screen. I gave up eventually i told him that i will just have the car checked next thing in the morning since they were also closing soon. Though we weren't able to remove the warning system glitch , I thanked him and left the gas station as i was driving omw home the steering wheel felt so much lighter. other gasoline station employee wont even bother to help you put air on your tires they would Just shrug and not give AF. I had to go to the bathroom and I asked one of the employees on the cash registers and she told me are you a customer and after I said so, she took a fit and said purchase something first then go to the bathroom. *****AVOID THIS CHEVRON AT 2901 SAVIERS RD IN OXNARD, CA!!!!!***** I visited this location primarily because it was closest to me and I received a pamphlet for the Chevron Rewards to receive $1 off at the pump. I downloaded the Chevron app to my phone, I loaded all my information in and it worked beautifully. I was so happy, I set my phone up to interact remotely with the pump and I was about to start pumping regular gas when it stopped all of a sudden. I pushed the button to call the attendant a few times and she never came, so I wound up having to go inside. I explained to her the pump stopped working and I just downloaded that app for the discount. She said because it's raining the pumps are filled with water, so only supreme works. I thought that was nonsense in my head because it makes no sense the supreme pumps have no water in them, but the regular ones do---the more expensive grade. So, I told her that I downloaded the app specifically for the discount so it defeats the purpose of me having to put in more expensive gas. I told her she should lower the price to what I would pay for regulat with the discount ($4.09/gal.) for supreme and that I was nearly out of gas and can't keep driving around and she just shrugged her shoulders. I asked her if she could do anything, and she just shrugged her shoulders. I asked her how is it possible that supreme pumps don't have water in them and yet regular pumps do and yet they are both in the same location and it's raining everywhere. I then asked her if I could just drive to another pump. That's when the nasty manager butted in and rudely and disrespectfully talked down to me and said forcefully THERE IS NO regular gas here at any of the pumps, so I confirmed that with him and then he said no, they all have water in them. I just made the statement to myself that it was a "disaster", because I was worried about breaking down, which a disaster it was for my situation because I was already nearly out of gas, and that meant I would have to drive to yet another gas station. He heard me and then he proceeded to condescendingly tell me that the "disaster" is the flooding down the street, to which I replied, this is worse because it's theft going on here, and I felt I needed gas and I deserved to have it at the lowered price because I downloaded the app and that's what the company owes me. Not be forced to purchase supreme, the most expensive gas because it's not my fault their pumps are filled with water. Manager guy or whoever he was didn't like that and then proceeded to degradingly tell me that if I don't want to put supreme in my car, then I can just go somewhere else. Then I told him not to talk to me that way and he went over me and said that he was talking to me the way I deserved to be talked to and then told me that they actually don't even have any supreme for me and that he wanted me to leave. I literally told him that I was simply asking logical questions. I wanted them to honor what they promised to me as a business. At that point, he had already lashed out at me verbally, so I had no choice but to leave as I did not want him to say worse things to me or call the cops. He was a tall gangly dark haired guy with glasses and seemed like he was from India, Pakistan, somewhere like that. This is not the first time I've had a very negative encounter with someone from that region of the world. Very disrespectful towards women and African Americans. He knew that I am strong and independent, and I caught them in their bullsh*t. I wound up calling there shortly after asking to speak to the manager just in case there was someone over his head and he knew it was me from my voice and told me I need to find somewhere else to go and hung up on me. I couldn't believe he did that, as I could have been any other customer. I called back several times, but he kept pulling the phone off the hook or letting it just go to a fax tone or just letting it ring. So unprofessional. I've never been treated like that by a manager or any store associate by simply asking those questions and calling them out on not honoring my discount. They had no signs or indicators on the pumps that regular fuel was out. I went down the street to the 2251 Oxnard Blvd. location and even though I told the associate what happened and asked if he could honor the price so I wouldn't lose my 1st offer, since we only get 3 offers to pump with $1 off, he said they have nothing to do with that and I'd have to call them directly at the Chevron Rewards app. It turns out, their location had cheaper gas anyway and even though I had to use my 2nd offer, I got even cheaper gas at $3.89/gal. read more

Go literally anywhere else. I know it's COVID and everyone is having a hard time, but this was THE WORST experience I've ever had with someone working at a gas station. My boyfriend and I stopped here to get gas before a drive, and I asked to use the bathroom. There were not "out of order" signs or any other signage to make me think this wasn't an option. The attendant when I asked first said flatly "No", while not looking at me. Then when I explained we were filling up at the station SO I could use the bathroom, and asked again to use it, he accused me of lying and said we were not buying anything. When I pointed to the car, pump number, and identified the model, he asked "Well, how much gas are you buying?" I told him calmly that since I was inside and my boyfriend was at the pump I wasn't sure of the exact amount. I then asked if he wanted me to go outside to the pump and ask for the exact amount before he'd let me use the bathroom. He said yes, still not really looking at me. WHAT? Anyway, so I walk outside because I do really need to use the facilities, relay this nonsense, and find out we are filling up. I then go back inside and tell the rude attendant that we are filling up, but we can go elsewhere if he doesn't want me to use the bathroom, since that was the entire reason we stopped. It only got a star because I had to give it something. Chevron is my go to gas station, but this morning a Clerk named Singh ruined that for me. He was very rude. I pulled up to the pump and ran inside to use the restroom before pumping gas. He would not let me use it until I paid for gas. The way he brought it up was rude. And after I paid for gas he rudely yelled at me to "GO" meaning the bathroom was available for me. It's really sad because after reading all these reviews with people having similar negative experiences obviously Chevron needs to work on hiring people with customer service skills.. or putting them through training. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF PLACE. ! The middle aged Asian woman behind the counter would not turn-on the tire air machine for me when I politely asked her. She told me it would be 75 cents for tire air machine. I told her that she was incorrect and that State of California says all service stations MUST give free air to their customers as part of their 'customer service'. She told me, "NO". Free tire air machine only free to gasoline buying customers. I was not buying gas, but needed tire air. I have bought gas there in the past. Never from her. I told her that she was wrong and I think that Chevron is showing terrible customer service in this 'tire air' matter. I told her, I would never buy gas there now or in the future from that station. And she ignored me. A nice gasoline customer hearing this matter talked to her when I left the store and he got her to turn on the tire air machine for me...We spoke and I thanked him. I went into this gas station after paying for a full tank of gas and politely asked the manager working to please turn on the air so that I could fill up my tires, he told me that his air wasn't free and I have to pay. This is illegal and I told him that, by law you have to provide air to customers. The owner of this Chevron gas station is the most unreasonable, insane person I've ever had to deal with in my life. I had been using this gas station for 10+ years, my family and friends all used it as well. On this particular day, the pump I was at was malfunctioning, it was pumping gas way too slow. Suddenly I felt gas pouring out of the pump and onto my shorts! The gas was overflowing from my tank! I stopped the pump and pressed the call button on the pump console to call someone over. The owner came over and started yelling at me! I could not believe it, he went and grabbed a mop and started soaking the gas off the ground and cursing at me. I was shocked! I could barely get 2 words in and suddenly he storms off yelling at me to leave! I am not exaggerating at all, this man clearly didn't want to deal with a complaint from me and made it seem as if he was too frantic to deal with. So as shocked and upset as I was, I went inside the station where I found that he was hiding in the back room. There was a woman at the register helping people. I started to ask the woman for the phone number of the supervisor, and suddenly he emerged yelling at the poor woman working at the counter to not give me anything and to not even talk to me. I felt like I was on a hidden camera show, that's how ridiculous the situation was. I'm a very non-confrontational person, I hate to argue with people, I'm very friendly and outgoing, I was not going to leave the station until I received at least an apology and some respect from this insane person. So after yelling back at him that I would like the number of the station and a phone number to call and complain, because he obviously couldn't hear me from his hiding place, he emerged and started to profile me as a "trouble-maker", which infuriated me. It was practically blatant racism. I'm a Hispanic male, and I do not dress in any gang-affiliated clothing or anything, I normally wear a t-shirt and shorts, and this man was calling me a "trouble-maker"! I was so furious, I stormed out and went straight home to contact some kind of Chevron customer complaint line. At this point I was already very late for work. To my surprise, there's no customer service number for Chevron, there's no human being to talk to. So I emailed their complaint center, which came back saying that they were going to get the manager's side of the story. Weeks later I get an email stating that their pumps are in constant 100% working conditions and are never broken. And that I from his stand-point it was "my way or no way" as far as our ridiculous "argument" was concerned. What way?! All I asked for was respect and an apology, I didn't ask for money or a discount or anything. And to top it off, Chevron washed their hands of the ordeal because they only deal with "company owned locations"! So as far as they're concerned, it's not their problem! DO NOT GO HERE! It's worth driving down the road. I asked to use the restroom and immediately had 2 different cashiers tell me different conflicting stories at the same time. After asking them to clarify I was told to leave so I asked to speak to a manager and of course the 1 old cashier said that he was. He wasn't as I've seen the manger there. I don't think it's called Walker Chevron anymore. It comes up as S&S Chevron on Google. Anyway, it has a new owner. I've been trying out this gas station once a week for the last month or so. I primarily went there because they accept credit cards at the pump. Within the first couple visits, I had to use the bathroom. When in the bathroom, the owner knocked on the door telling me "hurry up, we're closing". He did it a second time in a stronger tone. When I came out he told me that they close at 11:45pm not Midnight (the time was around 11:40pm). What a wonderful way to get acquainted with new customers' right? So I shrugged it off and wrote him off as someone that had a horrible day. This very last time I went, and I do mean "last", he knocked on the bathroom door again. He stood there as if he were monitoring my bathroom activity. This time, when he knocked on the door, he yelled loudly. This guy has some serious personality issues. When I came out of the bathroom we had a heated exchange of curse words. As I was walking away he was yelling at the top of his lungs saying that he'll call the cops if I go there again. Plain insanity. The result is that I will never ever go to this gas station again, nor do I recommend anyone else do as well. This guy should not even be in business. read more

This is my very first review I've ever written. I'm not an overbearing person. I realize even attendant have bad days and have come across some, and I go about my day and forget about the matter, but this time I want this fool fired. All I needed was air in one tire so I asked him to please turn it on. He began trying to humiliate me in front of everyone in the store including friends I was with saying that it's not free and that I must be a beggar because I can't pay for air. I also was shocked and said nothing. My friends began arguing for me. Some customers started arguing with him because of his horrible customer service. All I did was walk up to him close enough to see that his name is "Sean". He has a bit of an accent, late 30's to mid 40's. it's unfortunate that Steve was unable to get the msg through to someone in chevron that can do something about this guy. I definitely won't go there again and just like Steve will mention this incident to just about everyone I know, but this is not enough. If anyone knows a way to get through someone in chevron who cares about their business image please post it. I had heard that air and water had to be free to anyone by Law. Makes sense to me, I doubt chevron would want a lawsuit because someone crashed due to a low inflated tire that could have been prevented if they did what all other station do.
