I went in for a full interior detail. I chose this place because I wanted to avoid the crowds at the popular place in Ventura that does this. The price listed here also included the exterior. I was happy with the results, however I think they used too much water on the seats, because it took a couple of days with the windows down and sitting on the seats on towels to dry out. But my car looks great now and the manager was very nice. if I went back again for an interior detail, I would just ask them to make sure they don't use too much water. Horrible service. I drive up to the menu board right before the wash bay and no attendant in sight or anyone to greet you. What made it worst was the individual washing the car seeing me and not giving guidance or calling for someone else to help the line. I gave up, reversed and left after 5 minutes of no acknowledgement from the staff. read more

I pay for inside. I pay for fragrance and every time there I can not smell a damn thing and find areas that they missed. 25 to 35 dollars. I got upset and no please wipe seats as I requested for what I'm paying for! He refused to give me service. He said he was calling police. Lol. I have given them business countless times. I came here specifically for a car wash. My Tesla was extremely dirty and the white paint looked brown after having to drive through mud. These guys did a wonderful job cleaning my car and I couldn't be happier. The price is extremely fair for a full service wash and they also offer more detailed services. Overall a decent car wash, it's become my go to for a deep clean car wash. The pluses: for $20 I feel like I get a decent wash, the outside always looks stellar, inside gets vacuumed, and the scents help give my car that fresh smell. Service is also friendly, the guys do a great job and are always nice. The actual location & interior of the gas station/wash lounge isn't bad. I'm in and out for the wash only but you can do a bit of shopping while you wait. They also have a subway and taco/burger stand inside so if your hungry this will help the time pass by. The misses: the wait can be long. Friday after pay day is a little crazy, I learned my lesson. I truly don't have the time to wait 40 mins for a car wash. On a weekday earlier in the week its better that's for sure. The only reason to dock a star is sometimes they miss little details while cleaning the inside. It's $20 I don't expect super overly detailed service but sometimes by cup holders in the back don't look great or I can tell they missed a spot here and there. I like the Atmosphere. Nice seats and a comfy place to hang. The car wash is very good and not as busy as the place down the road but it did take a while because they did a very thorough job. Happened to stop by here once by accident and it was the best thing ever. When I just got my new car, this is the first place I took it to for wash and they did such a good job. I've been coming here now for the last 2 months every 3 weeks or so and they continue to impress me all the time. I get the gold option they have for 29.99 and the gentleman offered to clean my matts as well. New car scent smells really nice and stays fresh in your car for multiple days. I did happen to figure out the hard way they close at 5PM and of course when it's a slower day, they will shut down a bit earlier. This place would have itself an easy 3/5 stars, if it wasn't for one thing... THE GUY TRYING TO DRIVE MY CAR INTO THE CAR WASH TUNNEL DID NOT KNOW HOW TO RELEASE THE PARKING BRAKE. I got the $59.99 hand wax, and overall, they did a pretty good job. Most places do, however. Also like most places, they missed a few spots (outside edge of driver's side mirror, a few small spots on the windshield, etc.) One guy on the car wash crew was pretty friendly. I can't get over how the guy trying to drive my car in did not know to release the parking brake, though... He sits down, shifts the car into drive, and steps lightly on the gas. The car lurches forward a few inches. He looks confused. Looks around, then tries again. Same result. To his credit, he didn't just floor it to go ahead. Instead, he gets out, and looks around the car to see if something's blocking the tires. Again, not a bad move, but that should be further down your checklist. So, he gets back into the driver's seat, and I'm hoping he figures it out... NOPE... He shifts back into drive, and then steps on the gas again. Same result. To prevent any damage to my car, I walk over and mouth and gesture for him to release the handbrake. He wasn't understanding. Another guy, noticing the commotion, gestures to the guy to get out, and then he drives it into the tunnel... Sigh. Will not be returning. This is on the same level as the Jiffy Lube guys who leave your oil cap off... PS. My car doesn't have an unconventional handbrake control. In that case, maybe I could understand it. My car has a conventional lever between the two front seats... PPS. Why is this place labeled as "Dawson Mobil and Car Wash?" Shouldn't it be "Dawson 76 and Car Wash...?" I'm sorry but this place is extremely slow compared to other car wash business in the area. I took my car here today for a basic wash ($16.99 with tire shine) and it took almost 45 minutes. I understand that businesses get busy but their were two other cars in the place. This is the second time it has taken over 40 minutes for a car wash here. The only reason I give them more than one star is because the car comes out looking clean, but the other places can accomplish this much quicker. Do yourself a favor and go to the one on Las Posas or another in the area that is about the same price and takes half the time! read more

Wow. Give yourself some extra time for a thorough job. I think my gentleman was especially exacting. My car has not been that shiny in a while. I don't live near Camarillo but will make a point of getting my car cleaned here every time. If you like wasting your money then this is the car wash for you... If you like coming home with a dirty car that you have to wash again yourself, then this is the car wash for you! If you like having to explain yourself three times to someone, then this is the place for you! Decided to take my car in for a wash... Not a serious wash, just a basic car wash... I conveyed this to the guy writing the tickets and he wrote me a ticket for $24.99... I said that was not the car wash that I wanted... So he then tried to upsell me on a car wash for $34.99... Again I told him that I wanted a basic wash as I was planning to travel this weekend and the car would probably get dirty again. Finally after the third time and having to point at the actual sign with the wash that I want it on it he got it right...all along he knew what he was doing. Blatantly ignoring my need & hoping that I wouldn't catch it on the ticket until I was paying... But thankfully I looked at the receipt each time and caught that he kept writing the wrong washes which were more expensive. Didn't think I needed to sit there and babysit the car being actually washed and dried properly so I decided to do some work as I am working from home... When I picked up the truck and drove home I pulled into the driveway and noticed as I got out that the opposite side of the car was covered in water spots and still dirty. Looks to me like they don't use soft water and barely even washed nor dried the car on the opposite side of the driver side... Probably thinking that I wouldn't notice since I was by myself which is exactly what happened! So now that I have been home for the last 30 minutes and washed my car again I can say that I completely wasted the 30 minutes that I was there and the money that I spent. It's not about the $19 that I spent... It's about the fact that this is a service they are providing me with and yet can't even get it right. I've been bring my cars here for a long time. Granted my work pays for 90% of the washes, but I dropped off my Yukon to get detailed. That thing was super nasty dirty inside & out. I was embarrassed to bring it in and felt bad for whoever got the short straw to clean it. Holy crap they did an amazing job! They needed the afternoon to work on it but they did great. I don't believe how clean they got it. Normally I have them do a the SuperWash. I don't think I've ever waited more than 30 minutes for them drop off to drive away. Came to try their breakfast burritos and its was worth the $6.99!! So delicious! Trust me I was very skeptical about trying a burrito from a gas station but I'm thankful for my boyfriend for bringing me here!
