Great roadside stand that has plenty of options. Fruits are fresh! Really great strawberries and oranges. Parking is off to the side of the stand. They also have chamoy fruit that is dried along With some vegetables. Support local!

This is the best rated produce stand in the area. My friends wanted to stop off to buy strawberries and other stuff. I got one nectarine. :) It was like $1.38, but I just gave them $2. They have a bunch of different fruit and produce. Nice and helpful staff.

No flavor, not sweet and white -- unripe.

This place is known for their strawberries, but probably visit around the month of May only. I would only buy in the future only if they offer a taste before I buy them. Today, I picked up a $20, 6 pack and was really disappointed in these strawberries. They taste like your average supermarket strawberries in thier lack of flavor and firmer bite. They were really overpriced and not worth $20. I tasted one and decided to freeze them all for future use in smoothies. It's probably more worth like $10 at the grocery store for what these tasted like. The flavor of these strawberries are different from what I picked up last month at this farmstand. Not worth the money. The rest of their produce is really overpriced. Knowing that Gonzalez Produce is overpriced (and they have a tip jar? -- our society is tip crazy more than ever) and they don't have have great strawberries right now in June, I'll probably stick to my local farmers markets and grocery stores in LA for cheaper strawberries.

I happened to be in Oxnard and couldn't leave without buying some fresh local strawberries. Looking on yelp, Gonzalez produce stand was the closest and on the way to the freeway so I took a chance. The stand is small but packed with lots of different options - strawberries, mango, corn, peaches, nectarines, apricots, cherries, cilantro, tomatoes, green onions, watermelons, pineapple and some honey and dried fruit. I tried a sample of the strawberries and they were super sweet and delicious! No white areas near the stems at all. I grabbed a three pack for $10, a bag of cherries for seven dollars, and some corn and nectarines. They also take credit card. Glad I stopped here!

It's not fancy, but the family friendly attitude is wonderful. We were trying to find Laguna Gardens on the Farm Day tour yesterday. The GPS directions led us to the Gonzalez farm stand instead. The young man minding the store knew that where we were seeking was further north on Wood Road and gave us directions. Since he was so kind, we checked out the stock of fresh produce, and made a purchase. We picked up local sage honey, dried mango snack fruit, and fresh strawberries. We didn't linger, as the Farm Day hours were limited, but it was good to find a fresh from the fields produce market to keep in mind when in the area again. Parking is directly adjacent on dirt/gravel spaces. Take a moment to enjoy the views across the fields to Conejo Mountain, and the western end of the Santa Monica Mountains. It's a great spot to appreciate the farmland bounty of Ventura County. Can't wait to drizzle some of the honey on a toasted English muffin. We already had some strawberries last night. So sweet and succulent!

Farm Fresh produce especially the STRAWBERRIES WOW!!!! Every time I've passed by, they are FRESH even being picked the very same day! The strawberries are very deliciously sweet. Many other fruits & veggies too to choose from along with bottles of honey and bags of nuts. This stand is run by a the Gonzalez family and every family member truly cares about providing excellent service. They greet you right away as soon as you walk in and teach you how to pick the from the best of their selection.

There are so many wonderful Farmer's Markets in Ventura County. This is the 3rd one I have visited…read moreand it didn't disappoint. The vendors are incredibly kind to let you try samples of the goods. We tried Salsa, Kefir and pastries. It was nice to see a new coffee vendor Bonito Coffee that I have not heard of before and it was a tasty coffee. Lots of produce vendors there and a few unique vendors like dog chews and treats, crochet items and wooden boxes with secret drawers. One of the farmer markets you need to try on a Saturday when visiting Camarillo.

I am a certified sucker for a farmers market, and this one did not disappoint…read more I was out traveling with family for a quick overnight trip to the beach. The hotel we stayed in was 5-8 minutes from this gem . I made it a point to show up early as to not have to fight crowds or parking. Parking was great and the perfect number of other people there. I walked, shopped and talked. I saw some awesome things and some things I had seen before. There was live music, old guy killing it on the guitar with a donation jar. The majority of the shops were very chill, very friendly, very happy to see a new face. And they could all tell I was from out of town, all the picture taking may have given it away. I tried the le soup's chocolate and almond croissant. It was great, the owner told me it was twice baked so it was be very flaky..messy.(this man knew what he was talking about, as it was good as it was messy) The beautiful flowers always get me going because we live in California and have such an awesome variety. I live in central CA and everything I would have purchased here would have died on the way home or when I got there. (105 temperatures are a regular thing here) The 2 places that had a line 5+ people long were the coffee shop and the fresh fish place. It's always interesting to see what people are into in different people in places are into. I will probably come back when I'm in the area again and I look forward to seeing even more great things!
