Get there early. I got there at 2:00 on a Saturday and they were already closed. Once they sell out, you're out of luck. The next Saturday I went earlier and got there at 10:05 and there's already cars in front of me. The drive thru is super convenient! Lady comes to your window to ask what you want a little before the fruit stand. By the time you drive up to the fruit stand they already have your order ready to go! For bigger orders like mine, they ask you to pull up to the side. They got their system down! Love it! Don't have to speak much about the strawberries here because all other posts did they Justice. Customer service is excellent, fruit is delicious big and sweet, cash only and totally worth the drive.

Not always open (their storefront is a stand in a parking lot), but consistently good berries and not too expensive.

Ask the Community - Las Posas Berries

Does anyone know if they are still open?

Yes, The berries are at almost peaks season right now May 29, 2022. Yesterday I bought the sweetest berries I have ever eaten from Las Posas berries.

When will they be open for business this season?

Yes, Strawberries are at the peak of the season right now. May 29, 2022. Check yelp for their hours.

Did they move? A parking lot looks like it's going where the stand was.

I just bought strawberries after 2years of lockdowns. The city of Camarillo built a building right next to their property. At the same time it looks like a water drainage pipe is been built adjacent to the roadway. So they Have a car maze to speed… Read more

Whats neat about this farmers market is that it's actually local! Most of the goods are from Oxnard and not a random town thats hours away like other markets. There are rows of spots in their harbor parking lot but also some street parking. It's free entrance and you are welcome to come in and out of the market. This is why I appreciate Ventura County, no fees! This farmers market is a pretty good size with so many vendors ranging from produce, home goods, frozen foods, clothing and ready made and to go food stalls. This market really has everything and is highlighting some of the best local small businesses in the 805. Saw many familiar faces but also some new booths that I was able to support. Bought fruit and pastries for days (dangerous) because everything looked so good. Prices seemed reasonable enough to be. You are buying straight from the vendor so you cut out the middle men. I love the cooked ready to eat food options at this market. My local one only has a tamale guy but here they had that and another 10 vendors of ready to grab bites. I definitely snuck away with some pupusas and a refreshing strawberry lemonade. Now one of my favorite farmers markets - you'll catch me here much more often. Happy Sunday yall.

The hotel we stayed in was 5-8 minutes from this gem . I made it a point to show up early as to not have to fight crowds or parking. Parking was great and the perfect number of other people there. I walked, shopped and talked. I saw some awesome things and some things I had seen before. There was live music, old guy killing it on the guitar with a donation jar. The majority of the shops were very chill, very friendly, very happy to see a new face. And they could all tell I was from out of town, all the picture taking may have given it away. I tried the le soup's chocolate and almond croissant. It was great, the owner told me it was twice baked so it was be very flaky..messy.(this man knew what he was talking about, as it was good as it was messy) The beautiful flowers always get me going because we live in California and have such an awesome variety. I live in central CA and everything I would have purchased here would have died on the way home or when I got there. (105 temperatures are a regular thing here) The 2 places that had a line 5+ people long were the coffee shop and the fresh fish place. It's always interesting to see what people are into in different people in places are into. I will probably come back when I'm in the area again and I look forward to seeing even more great things!

I suggested that we stop by, especially since I was hoping to start repopulating our air plants. Free parking very close - check. Full slate of vendors - mostly check. I haven't tried it, but this would be the place to do so. Also popular right now are many varieties of apples (three of my favorites were on hand from a grower in Tehachapi - Cameo, Mutsu, and Pink Lady), along with persimmons and pomegranates. If one is planning to create holiday decorations using national elements, this would be a good place to pick up fruits in red and orange bright colors. I enjoyed sampling several other types of apples with which I wasn't familiar. Prices are higher than I was expecting, and we're short on refrigerator space right now, so I kept purchases to a minimum this time. There was a line at the tamale vendor, so we didn't pick any up on this visit. The bread vendor had sky high prices, so I passed. For better deals, I've been able to go closer to closing time and received better pricing as the vendors don't want to have to pack up what they brought - they'd rather sell it at a reduced rate. Honey and jams were available, but the egg man was packing up; all sold out by 3 p.m. Many of the vendors are local, and some come even from the San Joaquin Valley, i.e., Fresno-area.
