Went in and ordered a simple drink, White Chocolate Mocha. After 10 minutes, I went to check on my orders and the girl at the counter stated it was coming. After another 5 mins, went to check and they couldn't find an order for me. Decided to cancel it. No manager talked to me or offered to make it immediately. Canceled my order and asked for a refund. I needed to sign the receipt for them, and they needed a pen. I didn't want to wait til they found a pen, so I used my own pen. Poor service, delivery, and no regards for the customer. read more

Except for their regular coffee and pastries I'm not much of a fan of Starbucks. If I want an espresso-based drink I'll go somewhere else. However, I wanted to review the Starbucks store near Ralph's in the Las Posas Plaza shopping center since it's my favorite Starbucks in Camarillo and one of the best Starbucks stores I've ever been to. One of the things I like about this Starbucks store is how much indoor and outdoor seating they have. It's a great place to work or just hang out. More importantly, though, is the staff is really helpful and friendly. And while the selection of pastries is very good if you can't find something you like there's Fostar's Family Donuts next door and many other places to get food nearby. So, if you need to fulfill your Starbucks needs in Camarillo I strongly recommend the Starbucks store the Las Posas Plaza shopping center. read more

I stopped by here only because I was waiting for the local bookstore to open. And then I was subject to incredibly slow service here. Ordered two simple drinks in a barely crowded store. My first drink came after 15 minutes. When I asked about my second drink, they were totally annoyed that I was asking. Five minutes later my second drink finally came. No 'sorry for the wait' or any other apology. Of all the Starbucks in Camarillo (now standing at 6 or 7), this one has the worst service and crappiest attitude. I've been to this Starbucks a few times, and unfortunately, the service at this location is slow. Last time I went here, there were 5 people behind the counter and 2-3 people in front of me, yet it still took about 15 minutes just to order. Understandably, someone also went in front of me because his order was incorrect. And then one of the cashiers was chatting with one of the customers about non-Starbucks related topics, so a second cashier finally hopped on the other register to help me. From there, things happened quickly. I got my coffee pretty promptly and the order was correct (and tasty). If you're going to this location, please allow plenty of time to get your coffee and/or pastry as it will take awhile. read more

I'm not really a Starbucks fan tbh but this place has been really good to me the past month. It lets me hang out for hours on my laptop learning code as I don't have anywhere else to work at the moment and I like being around people. I also have made a couple friends! There's not a ton of comfortable seating but they have a handful of good study desks and some more lounge-y chairs. They also have outdoor tables and seating areas a plenty which are really nice for warm days and if you smoke like me. I haven't tried the food at this location specifically but a few things like the cheese sandwich and the cake pops have spoken to me at times. For an extra $ I've learned the venti Americano is well worth it over the filter coffee. It's like, easily twice as good in quality. And I really like their matcha when it's made right. Their order ahead service does tend to make wait times for drinks a little annoying. At peak hours (8-10am, 1-2pm, all day on saturdays and sundays) you might expect to wait 5-10 for your drinks. It inspired me to get the app and start ordering ahead myself even though I am going to sit down with it. Go figure! I'm dropping a star because of the wait time thing and also because the vibe is not 'inspiring' or cozy or friendly. It's corporate. But at least it's way less offensive than a London McDonalds. read more

I've been pretty displeased with this Starbucks location recently. I'm a big fan of mobile ordering on the app so I can do quick pick-ups, and I find myself consistently waiting up to 20 minutes after my pick-up time according to the app. I know they are a high traffic store, but how can the mobile pick-up times be so off? It's very frustrating when you are counting on a certain time. It's also hard to get employee's attention. They don't seem to pay attention to the customers or the store, for that matter. There are always very full trash cans and sticky floors. Starbucks is not cheap, so I expect better service. I hope this location can go back to what it once was years ago. read more

It's very dirty on the inside of this establishment, nobody cleans and the staff here are rude.

Not a fan of the new system for personal cups, it kind of ruins the drink when you expect whipped cream on top and it gets mixed in right away. The employees are pretty rude about it too. I'll just have the make the extra drive and stop at other locations. I get it may be a convenience to them because it's busy but it ruins the customer experience. read more

Purchased a tall soy mocha on my birthday using the birthday reward. While I didn't check the receipt, having used the Starbucks app on my phone, a fews days later I recognize that Starbucks charged me ~$5 for the drink. A drink that should have been free with the reward. In turn I have tried to contact Starbucks corporate for a resolution, but after more than 30 minutes on the phone I simply got nowhere. And given I'm from out of town it isn't like I can easily return to the store to bring the matter to management. In short this is not the first time Starbucks failed at providing a birthday reward. And given it is basically impossible to take up the matter with corporate, I have to wonder if this reward is simply a scam. Though I guess I could / should have ensured that I didn't get a VISA charge, but I was on the run. And I really shouldn't have to stand my ground on this matter. Not happy. I came here yesterday to get their chestnut praline latte and they were out of all holiday drink syrups. Came back today and they had it. Yummy goodness. The cashier was great and friendly , but this shop needs to do better with ordering supplies. Today they were out of cup sleeves and i burned my hand picking up the cup. I have been to this Starbucks location in Camarillo a handful of times now when I'm visiting from out of town. There aren't that many other locations open as late and are as convenient to get to. A couple of months ago was my first time here and they were repaving the parking lot and so that was annoying but I still wanted my Starbucks. Generally speaking, there's tons of parking available here so it's easy to get a great spot right by the store. The store is actually pretty big there's lots of tables and there are a lot of people that are here studying and hanging out. It also good amount of space outside where people can enjoy the weather outside as well. The past couple times I have ordered in person but I do believe that they do take mobile orders at this location. The workers here have been always very nice and my drink has always tasted excellent. As always, remember to download the Starbucks I'm sure you're able to place mobile orders and accumulate stars for each purchase you make. read more

You're going to get days where people get your drink wrong or you get that one employee who wasn't having the greatest day or just needs to be let go. On average I really can't complain about this place. It's been a staple to the local community for some time now. You see people always having meetings, group gathering after bike rides, students studying, or people working. It's a great space to work with lots of seating, just be weary of outlets if you need one (those spots get taken fast). I've ordered in person and through the mobile app a handful of times. Haven't had issue with mobile orders, but I also get really simple drinks with minor adjustments and same goes for in person orders. When I am in person, I've always been greeted by the baristas and everyone always seemed really nice and super focused. It's Starbucks so you won't get a life changing experience from ordering coffee here, but you'll definitely get some decent coffee. read more

This Starbucks has the good fortune being spacious and also have an equally spacious outside area(with tables). I do miss being able to sit in their comfy lounge seats, which as been removed or use their long table, which is also closed. They do permit a limited number of people to sit at a few of there tables design for 2...they are doing the best they can under the circumstances. That said, the coffee beverage and pasty that I ordered was reliably accurate and tasty! Definitely, my favorite non-drive through Starbucks in town. read more

I usually go to other Starbucks but today stopped at this one out of convenience. They were slow -- made drinks out of order as I noticed people who were in line behind me getting their drink first, and they let my shots sit which resulted in my drink turning out bitter. The last time I was at this location they forgot the vanilla in my caramel macchiato. I wish I had gone out of my way to go to a different store. read more

Went in Friday 3/10 around 850-900AM all cashiers were super nice and welcoming except a lady with a black apron I think she was the only one wearing a different color apron she was the one handing Out the drinks she was rude and not helpful. She asked me to double check if my food was cooked properly so I checked I obviously took it out of the package and touched it and I felt like it was undercooked I said can you guys please cook it more and she says we actually can't anymore since you touched it. Like Huh? Is there another way I could of checked if my food was cooked through the inside? I understand food safety but she tried to act smart. I figured she might be a leader by her different color apron. She needs to improve her customer service if she's gonna be setting the example. Not the best place to go if you're in a hurry. These people made walk away from a Danish after waiting for 15 minutes. Not counting the time I waited to have my order taken. They concentrate on online orders (people who are not there). The counter gets full of online orders and people waiting. If you go here in the morning, make sure you order online first because these people don't care that you're there, live, in person. read more
