Display of ice cream cakes

It was absolutely delicious. I tried four different flavors, and the attendant was so sweet. Everything was so clean. They had so many different flavors that I could remember. I haven't been here in quite some time, and it's absolutely fun and inviting. I'm coming back again; my grandson and I absolutely loved it.

Ordered a custom ice cream cake for my brother's birthday. The I was very specific about what I wanted especially because when I ordered an ice cream cake last year from a different location, they messed it up so badly I was very hesitant to order from a Baskin Robbins again. I'm glad I gave it another shot and went to a different location. The cake decorator at this store was great. He called to make sure he understood my instructions for how I wanted the cake and I honestly don't think it could have come out any better. The printed image was perfect. The cake to ice cream ratio was spot on and the thickness of the top layer of frosting was more even than the lines in the buildings of the Getty museum. My faith in Baskin Robbins has been restored. The cake itself was half cookies and cream, half Reese's peanut butter cup on chocolate cake.

I stopped in at this Baskin Robbins hoping they had some tasty clown cones. I was greeted right away by a chipper employee who asked if she could help me. I commented that I had been hoping to get a clown cone and she let me know that they were only available by special order and required 24 hours advance notice. This made me immediately sad, as I had wanted to eat one right then. But, I guess if you have to special order them it takes away from the problem I sometimes have at other locations of getting stale, soft-coned clown cones. Instead I got a single scoop of ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. The waffle cone was delicious and crunchy. The ice cream was smooth and boldly flavored. The young lady that helped me was very friendly and enthusiastic. Overall I had an enjoyable visit.

Did you ever dream of owning a Baskin Robbins?I sure did!‍Then I finally, told myself that if I couldn't own it then I would be okay working in one.Well, it never happened BUT, my life for ice cream became an addiction all thanks to this place! #iamokaywithit This place has been here since, I was a little girl! So, it will always have a special place in my heart. My dad use to bring us here when I was a little girl to get a banana split and I bring my kids! I remember it was a SPECIAL treat for us to come here once a week usually, on a Sunday. Now, I'll bring my kids a few times a weekWe are trying to be healthy so, I may adjust it to a Sunday tradition. I hope they never knock this place down. If the owner ever reads this... make my wish come true when you retire and feel free to reach to me so, I can own this little beauty Now, let's get on to the review... Of course, there's always a small line when you go by. It's just that good. Let me tell ya' it's by far the cleanest and friendliest BR everThe ice cream is ALWAYS fresh and GOOD! No matter what flavor you get! I appreciated that they never run out of any flavor and always are on top of the inventory orders. I am sure running a popular shop is difficult to stay on top of! So, don't ever judge them for the madness that goes down. I always, will rate this place no matter how long the line is! It always evolves with time. BR has done an immaculate job with staying on top of the modern world! Trust me... some shops are still outdated or have a broken fridge and the cleanliness is just not there.‍This place isevery time! I love how the fridge is ALWAYS stocked with cakes and the menu with the tv is just a bonus. Thanks, Baskin Robbins on Ventura Road for being on top of it ALWAYS and sharing your passion for your business with us. Remember, people these are franchise and the shops are owned individually! Don't forget to download your Baskin Robbins app and sign up for there cool perks! Did you know you get a FREE kids scoop ice cream on your BIRTHDAY??? You get coupons and you also, get a coupon for a $1.00 with every purchase once you complete the survey. I always give them the best scores simply because, THIS PLACE IS THE BEST BASKIN ROBBINS

This place is disgusting. It is not clean and the workers don't look like the type that practice proper cleanliness. Already made a mistake going in and getting a a single scoop then found a long hair strand in my ice cream cup. I'm grossed out and will not return. Saw one of the employee clean his hand by grabbing the ice on the sides of the display fridge with the ice particles falling on the other open ice cream containers. Asked for a refund and they weren't apologetic about it and just stared then asked for the receipt. Over heard them squabbling with each other then gave the money back. Very displeased with this establishment. I hope they learn to follow proper protocol when it comes to handling their goods.

This place deserves a lot more credit than the reviews on here. I'm no critic, but when you're craving ice cream on a cold day, you can't go wrong with a company that has been out for years with a variety of flavors! Since the past couple of years, this place cleaned up A LOT! Sure, the area where it's located can get ghetto across from here is the Chinaland restaurant that holds random clubs & parties, then SOMETIMES there are bums hanging outside of CVS asking for $$. They changed the look indoor & the logo outdoor. The service varies from a few workers to 1, but they've all been super sweet. When it comes to asking for samples, they don't just give the size of the mini spoon, they actually give you a scoop as big as 2 bites out of a bucket. Let's just say a very generous scoop. If I asked to sample all the flavors I'd probably be filled with a size large cup in my stomach. Their set up of the cakes & pints of ice cream are stored neatly & different. The vibe inside is welcoming & friendly as in cheery music in the background. They still always have a seasonal flavor for you to try! I've gotten their cakes, scoops, & milkshakes. Price has increased within the past years, but let's face the fact that this isn't the only store that has! Decent price for ice cream nowadays. When you pay, don't throw away the receipt! You may get a coupon on there. I just got a $3 off an ice cream cake so the coupons vary.

Counter top my order - my ice scream melting and exposed

Normally I don't have issues but today I really had a bad experience. They were busy and I get it, it's hot and everyone wants ice scream. The thing is I didn't expect the employee to snap at me for asking to put a lid on my ice scream. I mean aren't we all trying to be a little more sanitary. She asked me what I wanted, I told her I have a few things to order. When I started to tell her, she would say "what else?". But wasn't getting my order ready and not writing anything down and then she would come back to me and say "what are the flavors again?" Unnecessary.

Across From Marriott, Dangerously Good Saturday, May 2, 2026…read more-- approx. 9:00 PM Handel's Ice Cream Just across from the Marriott sits Handel's, an ice cream institution that traces its roots back to Youngstown, Ohio in the 1940s. Nearly 80 years later, it has apparently survived the brutal Darwinian jungle of American dessert culture by deploying the sneakiest weapon known to mankind: really good ice cream. The setup is simple and efficient: walk-up windows, outdoor seating, striped awnings, and enough blue benches to suggest they fully expect a crowd. And on a Saturday night around 9 PM, the crowd was very much present--families, couples, kids, and assorted sugar Gypsies waiting patiently for their frozen destiny. The menu is impressively large without feeling chaotic. Cones, dishes, waffle bowls, sundaes, shakes, malts, hurricanes, floats, banana splits, pints, quarts, and novelty items all make appearances. I counted roughly 47 flavors, including horchata, blueberry cobbler, pineapple sorbet, and taro, all of which I sampled because journalism is dangerous and someone had to do it. The ice cream itself has a soft, rich texture--not icy, not gummy, not pretending to be artisanal with a beard and rent control issues. The flavors tasted fresh, distinct, and genuinely fun. Horchata was creamy and cinnamon-kissed; blueberry cobbler felt dessert-within-dessert; pineapple sorbet was bright; and taro had that smooth, mellow charm. The young man helping us was friendly, patient, and just a downright good chap, which matters when customers are staring at 47 flavors like they're defusing a bomb. I'd absolutely come back. The line already knew what I was about to learn. 5/5 -- sweet, smooth, and fully legit.

And let me tell you, when you're heading to an island for kayaking and hiking, securing food starts to feel less like lunch planning and more like wilderness survival strategy. The online ordering process, though, gave my husband a minor technological character-building experience. Not especially intuitive or user friendly. Then, on the morning of the trip, we weren't entirely sure where the lunches would actually appear. Tiny scavenger hunt energy. Thankfully, they were waiting for us at the ferry office, and we both immediately took the same relieved breath: "Excellent. We shall not perish on the island." The sandwiches themselves were genuinely delicious. I had the Caprese, my husband had the turkey baguette, and both were fresh, flavorful, and substantial enough to fuel actual adventure instead of just delaying hunger by 20 minutes. Each lunch box also came with chips, Fuji water, and a chocolate chip cookie that quietly stole the show. Soft, delicious, and exactly the kind of reward you want after hauling yourself around an island pretending you're far more athletic than you really are. By the time lunch was over, I was happy, full, and fully prepared for the next round of kayaking and hiking. Which is really the highest compliment an adventure lunch can get.

Ordered coffee and took our goods down the street to watch the seals. Only ordered the drip coffee, nothing fancy here, but it was excellent. Good roast on the darker side, my only concern are the lids. Hot coffee filled to the top and as I lift my coffee the lid pops off sprinkling coffee as I tried to reach the counter to set it down. The lid didn't fit tight, so I asked for another lid. It stayed on as I walked to my table, but popped off again as I left. The strawberry custard croissant was flaky, smooshy and the berry itself was a marvel of ripeness and color. If you read my other reviews, I have a thing for chocolate croissants. This one was flaky and perfect looking and the honey on the shell made the layers of laminated dough even better. My first few bites were non-chocolate filled and filled with air pockets between the layers of dough. Once I reached the thin layer of chocolate, it was underwhelming. I may have to go back again and give it one more try.
