To small Sam price not happy I am a regular customer

Today I went per usual and I always get a biónico right away I noticed that it looks smaller than the usual so I asked them is this a small biónico and how much is it they said same price as before $10.99 also on the ice cream cups they are giving you a smaller amount for same price it's a hug

I have a soft spot for fruity ice cream flavors so this place is perfect. They also have Mexican chips (chicharrones de harina) and other snacks as well. Definately go here after dinner for a tasty treat and snacks Highlights: - all flavors are legit fruits not extract - at least 50 different flavors, scoops or popsicles - other snacks and chips besides ice cream (takis, Doritos, etc) - seating available if you want to sit and enjoy your ice cream - agua frescas

Who knew this place existed in the backyard of my hometown. I actually discovered La Michoacana shortly before leaving Ventura and it's been on the back of my mind ever since. While visiting home for the weekend, the boyfriend and I thought we would stop in after our hike at Chumash trail - perfect treat after finishing a workout in the heat. With the medium size, you're able to choose three different flavors of ice cream. We went with mango, watermelon, and pineapple. It's an ice based ice cream that's smooth and refreshing with chunks of fruit. They loaded this Mexican fruit cup with Chamoy sauce, Tajin chili powder, and squeezed fresh lime juice over the top. So so so good! But the Mangoneadas aren't the only thing that's got me hyped up over this place. You have to try their 'Dorilocos con Cueritos.' There's two versions of this concoction but of course we went for the 'crazy' one which was loaded with even more random ingredients. A Dorilocos is a bag of Doritos chips sliced open and topped with cabbage, corn nuts, Mexican candies, cucumber, pig fat, Tajin, onion, avocado, sour cream, and Pico de Gallo. As weird as it sounds, it's amazing! I'm sure I'm forgetting a few ingredients but basically do not order this if you're watching your figure. You'll gain about 5 pounds in one sitting!

I am a big fan of good old fashion Mexican cart ice cream. This spot has that spot on flavor times 10. They have so many varieties of ice cream that have unique style flavors and spice that will satisfy your hunger cravings. The staff is friendly and will make sure your needs are met. Parking is in their lot and is a non issue.

Delicious Mexican treats but overpriced, which is the reason I am giving them four stars. Good service, clean ambiance, great food.

Half full of mayo. Yuk

The ice cream was fantastic, but we ordered an esquite ( corn snack) and half of it was mayonnaise. It was absolutely disgusting. The two ladies that were helping us has a bad attitude too. I will come back for the ice cream though

AMAZING customer service!!! The michoacana needs more associates like Ari and Sofi. Always so happy to help out customers. 11/10

Across From Marriott, Dangerously Good Saturday, May 2, 2026…read more-- approx. 9:00 PM Handel's Ice Cream Just across from the Marriott sits Handel's, an ice cream institution that traces its roots back to Youngstown, Ohio in the 1940s. Nearly 80 years later, it has apparently survived the brutal Darwinian jungle of American dessert culture by deploying the sneakiest weapon known to mankind: really good ice cream. The setup is simple and efficient: walk-up windows, outdoor seating, striped awnings, and enough blue benches to suggest they fully expect a crowd. And on a Saturday night around 9 PM, the crowd was very much present--families, couples, kids, and assorted sugar Gypsies waiting patiently for their frozen destiny. The menu is impressively large without feeling chaotic. Cones, dishes, waffle bowls, sundaes, shakes, malts, hurricanes, floats, banana splits, pints, quarts, and novelty items all make appearances. I counted roughly 47 flavors, including horchata, blueberry cobbler, pineapple sorbet, and taro, all of which I sampled because journalism is dangerous and someone had to do it. The ice cream itself has a soft, rich texture--not icy, not gummy, not pretending to be artisanal with a beard and rent control issues. The flavors tasted fresh, distinct, and genuinely fun. Horchata was creamy and cinnamon-kissed; blueberry cobbler felt dessert-within-dessert; pineapple sorbet was bright; and taro had that smooth, mellow charm. The young man helping us was friendly, patient, and just a downright good chap, which matters when customers are staring at 47 flavors like they're defusing a bomb. I'd absolutely come back. The line already knew what I was about to learn. 5/5 -- sweet, smooth, and fully legit.
